I've been to Diwan several times recently and every time the food has been top notch, service fabulous, staff friendly, toilets immaculate, very reasonably priced and BYOB. 5 girls visited last night & all the curry's we had, mine being garlic balti king prawn and lamb pathia were delicious. Always accommodating and welcoming and really good value. Well done Diwan.

This is a wonderful restaurant. I have visited here a number of times, and the food and service are always fantastic. My husband and I both have food intolerances that make eating out tricky. Esquina allows us a choice of delicious gluten and dairy free food. The menu is updated regularly and never disappoints. Highly recommended 🤌

We booked for three of us on a cold misty night in December. We had a very warm welcome from the team at Take Thyme and their service was great. The food was fresh, hearty and tasty. A wonderful local venue for a cosy meal. Thank you for having us!

Visiting Manchester and we come across one of a tiktok videos about good ramens in Manchester, so we have to try it out. The place is nice, not a lot of seating but it was decent. Staff was very friendly and is happy to discuss about the menu. Menu is small and quite straight forward which is good. The food is amazing. We ordered the Fire Ramen and the Koji Chicken. Chicken is crispy and the sauce complements the the chicken. The Fire Ramen is flavourful and rich with a touch of herbiness which is nice to cut down the richness of the broth. Price is reasonable for the quality of food and serving. All in all, it was a great night and the food didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended when visiting Manchester if you are craving for a nice bowl of ramen. 🍜

Came here to write a review as I had such a shock when I ate my usual chausson aux pommes today. Having seen the other reviews, it now makes sense due to this supposed change of ownership. As a french person, I am outraged!! pastries have taken a nosedive in quality. RIP patisserie st anne :(

A lot of the surrounding areas have much less foot fall as there are less tourists, but the manor house is so inviting and festive this time of year especially with all the open fireplaces. Its always best to book in advance both rooms and tables this is a popular establishment for good reason. Merry xmas. I have had nothing but good dinning at the Manor and the atmosphere is a lot calmer being off the more trodden path. As the summer flowers finish at the end of summer the autumn show of fungi is just starting. And as the Cotswolds have some really old woodlands they also have a very varied display of fungi. This recent deluge of rain hails a good show. Don't leave it too long or the restaurateurs will have beaten you you it and there will be nothing to photograph. We called here for luncheon after a long morning. It was the 3rd day of sunshine in a row so we chose a table on the terrace without shade near enough to the wisteria to catch its scent on the breeze all afternoon. The food was impeccable and the staff were polite, friendly and engaging. We didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms, but the manor house is a well kept example of the local architecture and the decor is well kept. The gardens look amazing especially with all the rain this spring, the gardeners have been very busy. The formal gardens lead upto a nice walk in a natural broadleaf woodland up the hill with some beautiful views of the surrounding area. I highly recommend you visit but book in advance as it is obviously very busy. A nice way to treat yourself

^meat^ samosas contained gristle but no meat. We asked several times to slow down the service, we were clearly being rushed off the table and out of the door The chicken madras was bland at best, very little spice We specified we were sharing rice but we were still given and charged a rice each. No whiskey in the Irish coffee. No change came back when we paid cash. The change was assumed to be a tip. This was our first and last visit.
