The loveliest people, ‘everyone welcome’ atmosphere, we felt right at home whilst passing through. Would come again!

Second time eating here, stayed over in the campervan. I had the lamb and mash with chives, it came with gravy,peas and perfectly cooked tenderstem broccoli. Nice portion size and so tasty, would definitely recommend. My wife had fish, chips and mushy peas with tartar sauce, crispy batter and real homemade chips, she really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, can't do enough to help, makes a big difference to your enjoyment of a meal. Just good quality well cooked and presented pub food, we'll definitely be back for more in the future.

Booked for Sunday lunch for father's day. Was able to get our choice of time we wanted. We were quickly seated and drinks order taken. Was given our menus where I was pleased that they offered a range of other dishes beside Sunday lunch. We chose starters and roast dinners where we asked for mash instead of roasts and this was no problem. Food came out quickly and was good size for both starters and mains. Food was fresh and tasty. Overall impression very good and will return.

Absolutely fantastic food and service, couldn't fault it! Booked for a party of 11 through FB messenger- responses were fast and friendly. We were able to pre-order so service on the night was spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic quality food, and great portion sizes for fantastic value. Will definitely be returning, many thanks!

My first time trying out the food here,to be honest the food was delicious the waiting time however was ridiculous. We waited well over an hour for our main,our dessert took 45 minutes. A waitress named Christie was an angel,she profusely apologised for the wait and even threw in free drinks. The only complaint I have was the waiting, that was beyond a joke. Whether we'll return again I'm not sure,a shame really.

Friendly staff, on site car park, large function room upstairs with a stage and dance floor. Toilet seat in the ladies was not fastened on properly, young girls behind function bar ran out of Malibu and later diet coke. The function room had air conditioning which was unnecessary in December. We sat in our coats.

Great food, fairly priced. Good atmosphere with friendly staff and locals. Stayed over in the carpark in my camper.

Had a wonderful home cooked meal, very competitively priced too. Superb value for money. Lovely lady (think her name was Hayley) attended to our every need, cheerful and welcoming, every pub needs a 'Hayley!' recommend highly, we will be back!

We rang to ask if we can stay on the car park in our T4 camper van. We were told we could. We arrived with our little dog and from arriving at the pub we were made to feel very welcome. The bar staff were very friendly, we had a lovely meal at a very reasonable price, along with a bottle of wine. Everyone we spoke with was extremely friendly, will definitely return when in this area for a meal and stop over .

Where to start. A fantastic venue offering lovely meals ranging from Sunday roasts, curry's, steaks, pies, fish, lasagne's and many puddings. Large range of ales, lagers, ciders, spirits and cocktail's. A very large function room capable of hosting over 200 people. Tidy games room with 2 pool tables, a dart board, quiz machines, bandits and juke box with a massive selection of music. Clean and tidy toilets for the pub/restaurant and function room. Fantastic beer garden slabbed and grass with a play garden for children with the sun hitting it from earlier hours til late at night. Please see the attached photos of the menus and food. Whole heartedly recommended family owned / ran and orientated pub.

Fantastic people and lovely pub. We arrived too late for Sunday service but the owner was happy to allow us to order takeaway to be delivered and then produced plates and cutlery for us to be able to eat in the pub!!! The car park is a good size and level so no problems parking. There is fresh water available if required. Please note the pub is only open for food Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday till 5pm at present. Please call in advance to book your parking slot.

Here for a Britstop. Arrived just before their kitchen closed and the chef was able to accommodate us even with gluten free options. Food was great. Lovely place and good service.

Had a great time on NYE celebrating with my pal, got free tickets and enjoyed live music and a friendly atmosphere in a large room which allowed plenty of spacing out. Would like to return and have something to eat next time.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Clean. Polite staff. Sky sports on TV ,wot wasn't there to like. Definitely be going back soon

Karen & Jeremy catered for 40 + family & friends tonight to celebrate a 60th birthday. It was a plentiful & varied buffet, very happy with not only the quantity but the quality of the food. There were lots of positive comments from guests too. Jade behind the bar, was professional and cheery. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Price to quality of drink is an issue. Waiting staff are very slow taking an hour and a half to serve the whole room. The main meal was excellent, however the desert was clearly a microwavable product.

I came for a wedding and was happily surprised... the room was beautifully set up, the manager's are a hoot (so easy to get along with) and the food was scrumptious! I will be coming here again.

Very disappointing booked a table 2 weeks ago, meals pre ordered, arrived tables were not laid they told us 2minutes,we were seated after 35 minute,waited another 20 minutes still no sign so we left and ate elsewhere. Was really looking forward to the meal as picture's were posted all over fb promoting Mothers day meal.Some people who had bookings before us had still not been seated when we left. Really need to review their service God knows what time we would have eaten.

Great atmosphere and fantastic hosts

We had our Golden Anniversary at the Last Inn on 15/9/2018. The Food,Bar and Room were Excellent.JULIEN, RUSS and the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Disco ( SILVER CITY ________DJ NEIL) were Brilliant. I would definitely recommend both. Thanks for making our night special. BRENDAN and NORA COLLINS

Stopped off on our way home from Llangollen. Beer was excellent as was my steak and my husband's gammon and eggs. Worthy of 4 or even 5 stars for that. Stars deducted because the outdoor area and tables were a disgrace. Cigarette butts and ash everywhere I looked. A few minutes sweeping and cleaning the tables would make a difference. It was not something that just happened. It had been there for days even weeks. Girl who brought our cutlery and napkins should have noticed and done it. I should have complained but manager should be checking every day as part of routine. Unlikely to visit again.

Excellent pub with fresh bistro style food and local ales. The Sunday lunch carvery is a stand out plus the range of beers and warm welcome from the whole team makes for an enjoyable and friendly experience. 5 stars.

Had an absolutely terrible meal here a few weeks ago, in fact it was so bad I couldn't eat it!!!. After complaining, they knocked it off the bill. Would never go there again or recommend it to anyone

Fantastic transformation of this historically famous music, good food and real ale venue . The official opening night was awesome with some great music & entertainment. Well worth a visit to the website to see what's on.

13/03/2016 - First visit to The Last Inn, quiet beautiful rural location with ample parking. Amazing Sunday carvers with all trimmings. Really relaxed atmosphere with a homely feel. Pool table with juke box, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the carvery.

Under new management from Sept 2014 with new chef . Excellent food and 6 real ales

Good evening. I wanted to just drop a line to say that on Saturday we had a wonderful wedding at Glyn Ceiriog Church followed by a lovely evening reception at your venue. That was until the food arrived. I was saddened to see that there was not enough food for everyone and I was even more upset to see that Kylie the bride was very upset that she felt the food that she had been promised had not materialised. I understand that 700 pounds was paid for the buffet and I noticed that most of it was frozen and very cheap food. I think that for the amount of money the food could have been much better and also that there should have been enough seeing as it was for 100 people and only 80 people attended, of which i think a quarter were very small children and didnt actually eat food. For example my daughter ate one chicken leg!! The bride contacted Bev who is the cook who said that everyone should only have eaten one sandwhich and that the issue was people had eaten too much. Seeing as there were so many children who attended and ate nothing i think that this was a poor response to an upset bride. No refund was offered and no apology was given. I would not book this venue or urge anyone else to because of the food. The manager/owner was lovely though and the other staff were also nice.
