Best curry without going into southall, super service 👌 and great, reliably, good food

Excellent food, good service, reasonably priced.

Missing items - had to call restaurant to tell them missing items and staff was rude not bothered - had to order chips and pay all charges to get the food that was missing originally!!!! Times have changed !

I wasn’t sure what to expect at House of Pho, but it turned out to be a decent place to eat. So I recommend it. At first I thought it felt a bit big and empty and cafeteria like. But to be fair we were in there at 9pm and they close at 10. It doesn’t have a cosy, romantic or warm feel, but we were in a group of six having a bit of a laugh so it was right for us. A bit of a hiccup with the language barrier initially was soon resolved, and we were tucking into mixed starters in no time. Fantastic chicken satay, ribs etc. Usual fare for our lot in these type of restaurants. The mains were more interesting with some lovely noodles and curry’s etc. I can’t remember the details, but we were all happy enough. In summary, good food, pleasant helpful staff and reasonably priced.

The best around. Staff are fantastic good guys, and the chefs they have cook to perfection from chicken to the fish unbelievable quality, super clean 30 years I have used them and always the best. Do not try all the others they change names, Raj vougue always stayed same name great business. Please use this place! Just finished a take away meal again really cooked well and fair priced. Thanks

Not sure what's happened to this place. Both burgers were incorrect (cheese & bacon burger had no bacon and was cold, vegan burger had onions despite request to remove them). 1 portion of chips were cold. Chocolate brownie with ice-cream turned into a still-frozen piece of cheesecake so not what was ordered at all. Really disappointed as every other order from here has been great.

We had ordered 3 “buy one get one free” cookie doughs which would’ve added up to 6 for our children. They only sent 3 cookie doughs despite us paying the 2for1 price for the 6. They refused to send us the other 3 cookie doughs and said if we wanted them we had to collect them ourselves despite me not being able to drive. Very poor customer service we have ordered many times from here but for the bad customer service we will never order again.

My wife and I booked on a Friday evening after travelling up from Nottingham for the weekend. Lovely food, very nice staff and service was very good. Very nice place and very popular. One thing maybe could have had complimentary Prawn Crackers to start but that’s just something I have had in many restaurants before not an issue. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend and will be back on our next trip. 😊👍

I and my 3 friends have been meeting monthly for over 12 years, and fashion our group as a "Curry Club". We have been to most curry houses in the region and settled on the Gurkha Chef as our go to club house. It is not the fanciest of dining rooms, but the food is consistently excellent. In fact no meal has ever disappointed us. Highly recommended.
