The best restaurants in England

Met some friends for a few beers before going to a restaurant for a meal and went back to Angel after and they had Kareoke on, it was very busy and the atmosphere was very good, nice to see a pub doing well.

Ordered a takeaway from this place and they cancelled my order 1hour and 20mins after it was placed, idiots.

Personable staff, great location and accommodation. V comfortable bed, high standard of cleanliness. Super scrumptious food.🍲

Wow wow wow...super good. Lucked into this one as we were looking for a place to eat in Camden before a show. Amazing spot. Delicious dishes, solid service. My only complaintnai there wine was sub mid.

I only had a coffee, but it was very nice, and very reasonably priced.

Service excellent, Sunday dinner good, sticky toffee pudding delicious for pudding. Bottle of wine shared.

Met them at Rickmansworth market. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great cheeses and associated produce. Will make a trip to the shop proper soon.

The lady is very friendly and the service is good. The food is good especially the full English breakfast.

This is a regular stop for us when visiting Sheringham. Friendly staff, good selection of meals & snacks. Dog friendly and a nice atmosphere.

I ordered amala and ewedu with assorted meat. The ewedu tasted bland, and the stew was just average. I also ordered asun. However, I was surprised as it was just some meat in spicy sauce. Besides, the sauce takes half of the container, as seen in the picture. So, the meat 'not asun' was just about half of the container. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

...oh my goodness! Who cares if it has a week's calories in a slice? It's a good thing I don't live locally: I'd have to pop in every day and would probably be several stones heavier.

What a hidden gem! Fantastic food and amazing service! Staff were really friendly and the food was good pub food dive superbly. Rare to find a pub that does simple food really well.
