Love this pub. Always welcoming. Feels homely and relaxed. We also like bringing friends here when they come to stay.

Delicious kebab and the best fries! If you want to eat, only go there.

This cafe was lovely. Their prawn sandwich and coffee was a good pick me up! It is located in a lovely place, and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely come back here again.

Came for Sunday lunch today. Not sure we'd go back though . Food was nice but very slow service between starters and main. And so cold in there that we kept our coats on. Shame as we were really looking forward to trying it. Perhaps a summer visit would be better and more choice on menu other than roasts. Maybe.......

Slow service. It seems they can only deal with one order at a time which creates long queues. The food is ok. Nothing special. The fish was small & the chips tasted overcooked. The staff are ask busy doing… something. The food isn’t cooked fresh to order either.

Our first time here and straignt into the top 10 for me! Don't go for the shuffle board, go for the food. The ribs were massive, slow cooked and fell off the bone with a rich and spicy homeade sauce that was jammed full of flavour. The chicken empenadas were beautifully crisp packages with tender and spicy chicken. Lovely sriracha mayo. Pizzas are wood fired and as good as any you'll find. We had the nduja which has a nice balance of heat and flavour. Service was fast and impecible on a Saturday evening. Will return soon

Love it here, food is fantastic, owners are great and the service is superb.

3 of us and a doggy went for lunch here today for the first time and so glad we did. Loved everything from the decor and atmosphere to the music playing, the friendly service and the outstanding food both taste and value for money. Prawn cocktail, spam fritters and mixed goujons were the starters we enjoyed followed by bangers mash and veg, fish chips and mushy peas and chicken stroganoff with half chips half rice all cooked to perfection proper home cooked delicious comforting grub we were stuffed but managed to squeeze in an Eton mess and sticky toffee pudding and custard, 3 lattes and 3 pints less than £90 great family treat day wil be back next week and recommend everyone gets there sens down here as well. Cooper Kitchen & Bar is a Hidden Gem. Nestled in the heart of Elland, Cooper Kitchen & Bar offers a great dining experience that rivals those found in larger cities. The highlight is their tapas deal which is six dishes for £40, a must try for food enthusiasts. The stand out dishes are Gambas, succulent prawns cooked well, bursting with flavor. (Or just ask the chefs to feed you, I guarantee there will be no disappointment). The front of house staff are friendly and welcoming with a good standard of service. However, to maintain the high standards set by the kitchen, it's essential to support the front of house team, as in my opinion needs more staff working on shift. While the current staff are fantastic and attentive, additional support would ensure that service remains seamless and menus stay pristine, enhancing the overall dining experience. While some may overlook Elland as a dining destination, Cooper Kitchen & Bar proves that great food doesn't require a central city location or price. Its charm and quality offerings make it a hidden gem worth discovering. Whether you're a local or planning a visit, Cooper Kitchen & Bar in Elland is a culinary destination that deserves attention. With its exceptional tapas deals ,tasting evenings and standout dishes like Gambas, pork Belly, bravas and large plates, it's a place where flavor meets value. Again the front of house needs looking into, as even on quiet nights they are too over stretched to deliver a high quality of service that coopers require. I will be back to sample more delicious small plates.

Called in for late lunch, very traditional inside, menu as online, our food - pork pie, Stilton and ham - was very tasty and well presented, all at a reasonable price. Thank you.

This is is our favourite for weekday lunch, but not tried a Sunday before ,4 of us and 2 chose pink roast beef,1 went for well done beef and the last one had the steak and ale pie. It came with vegatables roasters............Well..we just could not fault it,every dish was spot on,we followed with various sweets which after the generous starters left us all fully sated, with hungry people, our table was 1.15pm,the restaurant was nearly full and buzzing with hungry people ,the service was spot-on.just to finish ,the bill, was £20.00 per 3 courses or £17.50 for 2 so with £ 2.50 between 2 or 3 courses it would be poor judgement not to opt for 3. outstanding value of fresh local ingredients from a Very talented team.
