Good service and great quiche and cheese scones. Couldn't see if dogs were allowed. For that reason 4 stars however there are plenty of tables outside and water bowls provided
The Cardamon used to offer quite tasty and ell presented curries but sadly the latest effort - a prawn methi was both tasteless and swimming in oil. The boiled rice probably has more taste in it! Naan bread was leathery.
A great shame as it used to be a good place.

I’ve ordered here a few times now and I must say I’m always disappointed. The spicy vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian one with pesto and rocket are both covered in oil, to the point that it soaks through to the base and ruins the pizza.
That said, I originally reviewed lower but the quality seems to have improved, and the menu expanded since then.
The level of topping varies depending on the visit.
service is exceptional.
Went for burger night on the Wednesday not been before. Food was great also good knowledge of allergys Excellent service from Isla . Will definitely be back.
We visited on a Saturday mid afternoon.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Food we had for starters:
Calamari - Lovely and looked impressive.
Halloumi - Nice but 2 pieces seems small.
Mussels- Large in size and tasted ok.
Mains:
Lamb cutlets - the lamb was 'meh' on its own but the demi-glaze sauce was delicious. (I could have ate that as a soup!)
Pizza - This was nice
Steak - Cooked medium rare. Great.
Meat Platter - Nice enough, but some of the meats not very flavoursome.
Moussaka- This was nice, ordered a side of chips to go with it doesn't come with any.
This place sounded like a bargain for £21.95 for a 2 course, but after adding on all the additional £2/£5 for different dishes on the menu it doesn't always work out that price!
Nice cosy place and a good little place for a family catch up.
Another opportunity to re visit this marvellous restaurant in Sandwich. Consistently fantastic food and excellent service . Menu changes every couple of weeks with new tasty additions.
We went on a surprisingly quiet Sunday afternoon and sat in the garden , I ordered at the bar a starter of scotch egg and 2 roast beef , scotch egg came in about 10 - 15 minutes and was ok but at £10.25 a tad expensive. I had to ask for cutlery and napkins , around us on 1 table was a table of glasses and a table with 2 empty plates with nobody sat there . We waited 25-30 minutes for starter to be cleared but I ended up taking it in and gave the staff who were gathered by the bar a little nudge that we were outside and had they forgotten us ?? Another 15 minutes past and the dinners came which were quite tasty and plentiful, again had to ask for cutlery, still tables were left dirty around us and we had no check back at all . All in all poor service on a quiet shift , hence no tip , maybe it was a bad day at the office which we all have from time to time.
Me and my family came to the tearoom last week (10th May) to have afternoon tea for a family birthday. We have a Gluten allergy and a Dairy allergy and they were very accommodating for them both. Not to mention, the food was lovely and the service even better. Definitely recommend.
The food was amazing! Ribs, fish, steak and excellent vegan options too! We sat in the marquee which had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a family gathering of all ages. We'll definitely be back!

Food was really tasty and good size for tapas. Allowed for a lot of different dishes to be sampled and each one was very tasty. For the price and quantity of choice I would highly recommend.
