Had dinner here with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Both the food and the service were excellent; my husband had tapas, I had the sea bream and we shared the delicious almond tart to finish. Reasonably priced, relaxing ambience and friendly staff, definitely recommended.

Chose the tapas. Calamari and halloumi were delicious! Quiet again, not many covers on a Wednesday night. Service friendly but slow to clear. Would definitely come back.

A nice place to eat. We were there on Sunday around 1:00 PM and ate a delicious Vegan Sunday Nutroast. This is one of those places where they understand that preparing plant-based food is not difficult and it is fantastically tasty. Compliments to the chef! Expanding the plant-based menu shouldn't be a problem here.

Always have such an amazing time - the food, drinks and service are all great. Beautifully decorated and perfect for any occasion. The court yard is spacious and private and a real sun trap! Been a couple of times recently and both visits have been excellent. Would highly recommend and is a real Spanish gem in the heart of Sandwich!

We went for a Saturday lunch- amazing range of tapas in really generous portions- if taken as starters be aware they are very filling. Excellent range of food for those who may be following special diets- all usual diets e.g veg, vegan catered for. Good choice of main meals. Prompt and pleasant service

Omg, this is a place to go, everything was perfect, lovely. We felt like we was in Spain, food, music, environment and staff. We only wish we was more local, but as we have family down here, we WILL come back again. Thank you for a superb meal.

We came for the tapas as we had heard great things. It was amazing! The pork belly was a stand out. Cannot wait to come back as we saw paellas pass our table, which looked well worth a try next time! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Tan Bueno did an amazing job of serving our table of 22 with Tapas for the evening. We left the tapas choices to the restaurant rather than do a pre-order, we just asked for a budget of £30 per head for food. The variety of dishes was great and it all tasted amazing.

Had visited a month before and it was so good decided to come for my birthday. We couldn’t resist the garlic bread AND starters. I had a delicious pear and Serrano starter - yum. Husband had the albóndigas - a very generous and tasty portion. For mains, I had the belly pork, another very generous portion, mouth-wateringly good. Husband had the stuffed chicken which he said was delicious! We both had delicious desserts too - very greedy of us. Lovely bottle of red too. Our waitress was delightful - she was a singer, sorry I’ve forgotten your name as I’m writing this a month after our visit! Just a wonderful evening with fabulous food and will definitely be back.

Just had lunch in this lovely restaurant. We have been living in Spain for many years, so our expectations were high, but we were not left disappointed. The food was lovely and attentive service. A good varied menu, with meat, fish a veggie options, good selection of tapas. Nice background music.The place is very clean too. Would really recommend . And we got a 20% voucher for our next meal.

After much hype by others we gave it a go. Having a Spanish wife meant it needed to be at a high level. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. The seafood seemed to lack taste, possibly frozen and not fresh. The Calamari starters pieces for starters were tiny and overwhelmed by the crispy batter. The Paella was a good size portion but again the seafood lacked taste. It all seemed to lack seasoning. At the prices charged it didn't meet value for money. I would visit again in the future just to see if it has improved as I believe everyone has an off day.

Drove from South London to go to this restaurant. We arrived at 4:30pm Sunday and was told they wouldn’t be taking anymore orders. Shame this info is clearly stated on their website. Went to the Toll Bridge Instead.

This is a lovely restaurant I can’t believe we have not been before the food was amazing the staff were wonderful very friendly it looks small on the outside we have probably walked past it lots of times ,but once inside it’s very big with a lovely large courtyard will definitely be returning and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family

Superb! An amazing menu with the quality to match. Lovely restaurant with a brilliant team to make your evening extremely enjoyable. Definitely a place to sit and relax through your meal, take your time and soak in this superb menu that’s obviously had a lot of thought put into it. My only surprise is that the restaurant is not rated higher! Can’t recommend enough. We can’t wait to return.

I've only put 4 stars on atmosphere as it was lunch time, which is good for tables availability. The quality, choice for food is stunning. Staff were excellent. I can thoroughly recommend the restaurant.

Had a lovely meal with our newly married daughter and her husband on Saturday night. The restaurant was buzzing and nearly full so lucky we booked! We had to wait a little bit for the waitress to take our drinks order, and it was a pity she didn’t bring the menus with our wine as we could’ve looked through them with our drinks but it was very busy and the two staff were coping with orders and people coming in. Husband had the vegetable tagine, I had the chicken one as did my daughter and son-in-law had the kofta tagine. They were very, very tasty. Daughter and I couldn’t resist puddings - baklava and meringue - delicious!!!!- We had a nice chat with Peter, the owner, and Lorraine (front of house/owner) and Ella, our young waitress, were really lovely. Wine was perfect and we had a nice “shot” on the house with the bill. It was a lovely evening in a very cosy, lively restaurant - we will definitely be going back as we have our anniversary coming up soon and will go for the Spanish mains having already enjoyed the tasty tagines! !

We recently bought a holiday home in the Sandwich area and this restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident. We were warned that Friday and Saturday nights are very busy so we visited early evening on Friday for dinner. Around 6:30pm the restaurant was not too busy and we were able to get a table but it quickly filled up with people who had prebooked. The service from the restaurant owners/ managers and barman/ waiter was very good - hospitable and friendly. We ordered several tapas (garlic bread, garlic mushrooms, chilli prawns and pork belly) to start then a seafood paella to share. These arrived quickly and were well presented and tasted fresh and flavourful. Portion size was good for sharing. We did not try the cocktails but shared a 1/2 bottle of the Albarino which was delicious. We did not stay for dessert as we had to head home to London. Unfortunately we realised 30 min after leaving that I had left my handbag hanging on the back of the chair. I called the restaurant and they had kindly kept the bag and contents for me behind the bar so I was able to retrieve it safely. We really appreciated this and will be back again to this lovely restaurant for dinner soon!

Me and the family had dinner at Tan Bueno on Friday night. The quality of the food was top notch, the kids really enjoyed it and very reasonably priced considering the quality. The hosts were also excellent and so welcoming, they made the evening. Will 100% be back!

Just had dinner in this amazing restaurant and had to post this ASAP because this place is really worth it. We were 6 adults and 2 children. We had different starters and different mains. I am so happy to have discovered this hidden gem. The food was exquisite and staff are incredibly attentive. If you are in the area and don’t know where to eat don’t hesitate to go in. You will feel welcome immediately. Keep up the good work!

Great place to share dishes. We started with three tapas dishes which we shared. Great range of flavors and quite enough food for the of us after a starter of hummus and affogato to finish. Great dinner at a very good price.

Was like being abroad. We sat outside as the weather was lovely. Food was lovely we had 2 starters from the Tapas menu & a seafood paella for two. Service quick, reasonably priced. I had 3 courses & two large glasses wine, my husband had two courses & 2 pints of lager, bill was £72. Will definately return.

Although we were there at a time when there were not many diners the atmosphere, service and food were up to standard. My Vegan wife was especially pleased with her choice. Altogether another good visit.

What a superb restaurant! Such variety on their menu and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We arrived as a family group, with a couple of vegetarians and GF with other allergies. The chef came out and personally made an off the menu dish to cater for us. He was genuinely so helpful and really took the time to care over our request. What a great find Tan Beuno is. We were cycling from Herne Bay to Deal and stopped in for lunch. Very good authentic tapas, good wine and coffee. Friendly service too. Drop in if you are passing you won't be disappointed.

Really tasty tapas! We shared the following tapas between four of us which was enough: chicken skewers, prawns, meatballs, pork belly, asparagus wrapped in ham; ham, feta & pear, patatas bravas, calamari and cod croquettes.

Well, I am really struggling with this review, because I genuinely think these guys are actually trying their absolute best and they think they are doing amazingly well, but avoid this restaurant at all costs. Service, despite friendly, is beyond slow. Service here feels like the life of Christ with three extra months on top. Coffee, bad. Paella tasted OK but absolutely wrong texture. Patatas Bravas were uncooked and TOO Bravas. The worst thing is that the restaurant is unbelievable expensive for the size of the portions. Ridiculous prices, particularly for the tapas. The tapas are absolutely an insulting rip off, particularly tye croquetas. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The paella, as a main, was a bit better priced, but still ridiculous at over 20 pounds for that size. They tried to be nice at least...

Went at lunchtime with a friend. Lovely welcome good service throughout our visit. We sat inside but there is a garden area. We shared tapas having two each with bread. Great selection of dishes and ample dish size to share. Have a loyalty card so will definitely return to try other tapas dishes. Other interesting dishes also available on the menu.
