Went at opening time on a Saturday in January, so it was quiet but still a few tables booked.. so the atmosphere was down but meant our food came fast and fresh to order.. Can’t really fault the food at all, was all fresh and you could see the effort that had gone into the preparation.. I had the sharing platter which was only £17.50PP; 3 big ribs, 2 big wings, a large portion of pulled pork & pulled brisket, homemade smoked sausage, fries, ranch beans, coleslaw & a handful of pickles.. If I had one gripe it would be the brisket not being sliced and kept whole but it was still very nice and tender when pulled. You get 3 homemade sauces at the table, Tennessee BBQ, Honey Sriracha & Carolina Mustard… all 3 are superb. The host/owner is very nice welcoming lady with plenty gusto and a great sense of honour.. Will definitely return!

Este es un maravilloso establecimiento italiano semi independiente. Visité con algunos colegas de trabajo y tanto el servicio como la comida estaban mucho más allá de lo esperado. La comida era excelente, a pesar de que "simplemente" tenía una pizza era mucho más de lo esperado. Era ligero y lleno de sabores - mucho más allá de algunos otros lugares de pizza que he frecuentado. La señora que nos dio la bienvenida y nos sirvió fue refrescantemente agradable y no podía hacer lo suficiente para cuidar de nosotros y garantizar que nuestra noche fuera lo mejor que podía ser. Si estás en Stratford, hazte un favor y prueba este nuevo lugar, no te decepcionará

Lovely experience! The food is fantastic, the meat falls off the bone and the sauces are rich. Good selection of drinks (dangerous if you can’t resist the cocktails!). Staff are friendly, able to have a nice conversation with both the waitress as well as it seems the owner. Will certainly be back! :)

A wonderful restaurant, with imaginative dishes and great front of house staff. A restaurant not to be missed. We love it so much we keep going back. Definitely worth a visit.

We booked for three of us on a cold misty night in December. We had a very warm welcome from the team at Take Thyme and their service was great. The food was fresh, hearty and tasty. A wonderful local venue for a cosy meal. Thank you for having us!

Warm and friendly pub with cask ales

Such a nice place to go to. Always greeted warmly. Just a cocktail this time, but still served with drama.

A warm welcome to greet you and beautifully cooked food for your appetite. The coffee is excellent. We shall definitely return again. Special thanks to Luke for making us feel relaxed in this lovely pub.

Este pescado con papas fritas tiene excelente comida y comidas vegetarianas en el menú. Es nuestro chippy favorito en Lancaster ya que somos vegetarianos. Grandes porciones también. Gracias 🙂
