Made a big mistake stopping off at this place for a roast. The food was not freshly cooked and was clearly a microwaved frozen roast, the beef and pork were a version of a meat product and the vegetables were not fresh. Empty plates were left strewn across the tables despite the pub being very quiet. The dog barking from a garden in the house joining the pub added to the 'atmosphere'. Now at the Green Man in Brook for a drink. Should have come here as a far superior place and the prices are the same. We won't be returning to the Lamb Inn any time soon.

Great Resturaunt! Lovely decor and ambience. Excellent service from polite and efficient staff orders taken promptly and served quickly.
The food was delicious and varied. The menu had some unusual and unique? Items on it.
I have no doubt that this is the best Resturaunt For Indian/Bangladeshi food in the area and would highly recommend it.

Setting and decor is lovely but the place is let down by the food and the service.
Poor quality of food
Starter - pate no better than being scoped out of a tub and covered with 4 pieces of toast no additional condiments. Could have got nicer from a local supermarket.
Main - Beef bourguignon was served with mash that could have been packet mash potatoes with half a block of butter thrown in and the beef itself pretty tasteless.
Dessert - orange and cinnamon tart with ice cream tasted bland.
Bar staff were great and polite. Serving staff lacked.
Heard about their Steak Special night. I’m not a huge fan of Steak but my wife likes her Sirloin medium rare so we went to long, without booking, to see if we could get a table. As we arrived at 5pm we had no problem getting a table and the food was excellent!! It would make me order a Steak again.
And after a while the regulars starting coming showing that it was a really popular venue and became very busy but with a really pleasant atmosphere.
Gorgeous cafe with excellent service and lovely food. We had a sausage sandwich and a cream tea. The portions were very generous and the scones were delicious. We highly recommend

The team work hard to make your experience a memorable one. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. The standard is higher than you might expect at a local restaurant which makes it such a super local gem. Run by a family it really shows when celebrating a family occasion. The chefs are clearly very experienced and know what excellent looks and tastes like. The steaks and seafood are really really good. Don't miss the apple pie either!

Astonishingly for a village so small, both pubs are regular entries in the Good Beer Guide and they complement one another with different brands. This pub has the added bonus of serving hot food and free newspapers to read.
Can only comment on the food as we didn’t stay over. Sunday lunch was fantastic. Can’t fault it. Service and hospitality excellent. Lovely garden for after dinner drinks. Will be back.
Brilliant quality and very good value. Best fish and chips I’ve had. Cooked properly, service is prompt, polite and professional. Feels clean and a nice friendly atmosphere
