Corscombe, Dorchester, DT2 0NS, United Kingdom, England
We had two nights in the area, went there for our dinner on the first night and liked it so much that we went again! It's a genuine one, well kept and full of character, the food is excellent, and landlady Sharon is an absolute star that made us feel very welcome and hosted s really well. Would happily go there yet again on our next visit to Dorset.

An unrivalled range of beers of all different types. One favourite beer is drunk dry in 2-3 hours, and that's 70 pints. Very friendly. Was in Faversham for a week and went there every night. It is very welcoming and I become a regular with in the week.
Unit 7, The Quadrangle, Hulme St, Manchester M1 5GL, England
This restaurant was perfect — absolutely everything was enjoyable.
The welcome was warm, and the staff were attentive and genuinely listened to us. They gave us great recommendations and took the time to guide us through everything.
The quality of the meat was top-notch, the presentation was beautiful, the vegetables were fresh, and the broths, rice, and especially the sweet potato noodles were excellent.
The plum juice is homemade and absolutely delicious.
It might seem a bit pricey, but it’s well worth it.
There’s a 10% service charge (optional), and honestly, they deserve even more.
I 100,000% recommend this place!
13-15 Osborne Rd, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 2AE, United Kingdom, England
You might find better facilities in the chain hotels but you won't find this kind of service. If you like your hotels small and friendly, this won't disappoint. The staff are uniformly lovely and you're always welcomed with a smile.
Great value in a nice location in leafy Jesmond - handy for the Metro (about five minutes' walk from either Jesmond station) and not all that far from Newcastle city centre. A decent breakfast at a reasonable price, and great to have kippers as an option! A thoroughly enjoyable stay. I will stay there again the next time I visit Tyneside.
Have just got home after a fantastic meal at Masala, and I'm stuffed. Saw online that they did a banquet on a Thursday evening and after looking at the great reviews and appetising menu, I made a reservation. Greated with a warm friendly welcome. Initially given a table for 2, which was fine as the restaurant was almost full, but as soon as a larger table became available, they asked if we'd like to move and have more space, which I thought was amazing customer service. The food was delicious and before each course was served, we were asked if we were ready or needed more time. It's difficult to put into words how great an experience it was. No wonder Google reviews are 4.7. will definitely be back, soon. Thanks Masala
We walk into the city weekly, the departure lounge is always our first stop. The main reason is, in my opinion it’s the best coffee in the city. We do not eat often but the food we have had is always good The current owner is a nice guy who always chats .
Lovely setting! Friendly and helpful!Lovely menu and fantastic food.
The staff are amazing and so helpful.
Real log fires crackling away, great atmosphere, we were a couple with a dog and treated amazingly. Thank you, will be back a few more times before we go home.
The pub has a little shop as well for all your needs.
Thanks.
