Stayed here for one night. We had a double room which was comfortable and spacious with a sofa. There was limited parking at the back of the hotel, but we were able to get a space. The breakfast was enjoyable with a few options to choose from.

Good budget hotel located in the residential area of Jesmond. About a 20 minutes walk from city centre or accessible by bus service which drops you in front of the hotel! Located in a much more pleasant area of Newcastle to stay if you want to avoid the late night partying in the city. Hotel itself is old school. No lifts and rooms are a bit dated. It is more of a bed and breakfast. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. Service is excellent and friendly. There is a very good Italian restaurant connected to hotel (which guests get discount) and an excellent South Indian restaurant behind.

Very nice staff, breakfast possible in the hotel. Since we didn't notice this, I can't say anything about it. 20-25 minutes walk from the city center. The rooms were clean and in very good condition.

The William IV on High street is a local pub in Gateshead that offer a decent range of beers and was one of several pubs that we visited on a day out around Gateshead. A solid old style boozer that is housed in a traditional pub style building'the interior is again a traditional pub interior with lots of good seating options and an outside area at the back with extra seating options. I don't know why but I adore going to pubs like this as it brings me back to when I first started drinking many years ago and most of the pubs I visited where like this. This pub was very busy when we visited as where most pubs we went to in Gateshead and when here we had a couple of bitters from the John Smith's brewery which were well served and priced. This is another superb local boozer and is well worth visiting as the staff were friendly and they offer a well priced range of beers and is very easy to locate from High Street bus stop it's a minute's walk.(This is my first review of the William IV). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-10.00-23.30. Friday-Saturday-10.00-00.30. Sunday-10.00-23.30. Nearest Bus Stop. High Street bus stop.

I recently visited Côte and had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious English breakfast. The food was perfectly prepared, with each element cooked to perfection, from the crispy bacon to the creamy scrambled eggs. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet vibrant ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the place. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast or a spot to relax and soak in a great vibe, Côte is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!
