Just had another dinner at The Shack and it was absolutely delicious! The staff are always super friendly and make for a really lovely dining experience. We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the sun too!

We really enjoy it in here. Burgers are fantastic. Some of the clientele could be asked to quieten down though - we’ve had this issue on several occasions. Oh, please can we have 6 jalepeno peppers and fewer tater tots please. Thanks!

Me and my cousins came in for dinner recently and we had the best time! The food was sooo good, everything was 10/10. I was in love with the waffle fries with shack seasoning, with the sriracha mayo 🤌🏽 we were served by Mollie, who made the experience 10 times better! She was so lovely, super helpful and so friendly. She recommended some great options, and was super sweet and so accommodating. Thank you sooo much - we’ll definitely be coming back!!!! (Ps. this one is definitely my fave out of the 3 Shack Burger spots lol) 🫶🏽

Came here last night with my friend and we loved it!!!!!! The desserts and iced coffee imparticular were so good. Shout out to Molly who served us she was the sweetest, most attentive, and kind person to us and made our night! We will definitely be returning 🫶

The best restaurant in Biggleswade! I’ve been here so many times and the food is always delicious, service is amazing and the atmosphere is great. Their chicken is so good - always incredibly well seasoned and full of flavour. This time I had the Chick Supreme hot grilled sandwich, which was one of the more simple things on their menu, but no less delicious! Also don’t pass up on their desserts - the banana fritters are HEAVENLY and the iced coffee is the best I’ve tried. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. Also the portions are so generous. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

AVOID DELIVERY! SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. UPDATE: They refused to complete the agreed refund because they now "feel" that a refund isn't warranted as they remade the food and delivered it. Disgusting. If I called to find out they delivered to the wrong address and the options were then to cancel for a full refund or have our food remade with agreement of a partial refund. That is an agreement. They have breached contract. We will be taking this further through the correct entities and spreading the word, because it's the principal. Stop mistreating delivery customers. We are disputing payment with our bank to retrieve the money. Also don't be fooled by the presentation. The food is bland and disgusting, or maybe they just maltreated our order when they had to remake it. Oh yea and see you soon :) Original review: Abysmal. Shocking. Photos look amazing. Reviews look amazing. My experience was terrible (see photo of email for more details - also note, they use their own staff to deliver, not Just Eat.. so whatever happened is totally on this restaurant). Also to correct myself in that email. I had to scrape the parmesan off the bottom of the pot, I don't think there was any truffle AT ALL! Do not waste your money on the corn ribs, you are paying £7 for less than half a corn on the cob. Insane! Also I have not received the £20 refund that was promised on the phone. I was told by the chef he would process it himself. But now speaking to another lady she has advised that I would have been told this incorrectly as they can’t do anything from their side? It’s up to Just Eat? I feel another ping pong scenario about to happen. I am now hoping for a full refund of £45 as upon the food arriving near 3 hours later it was absolutely awful. If you are adamant on trying their food, do not do delivery. Go to the restaurant and sit in. Would not want you to have the same experience as me. This can't be regular for them. I have not eaten any of the burgers after taking a couple of bites, they’ve ended up in the fridge. Lost my appetite from everything. Only thing I finished were the sides (macn cheese, corn ribs) and the milkshake. Not sure why the mac and cheese description says it has a ‘shack’ twist to it. It was completely plain.

We got the wrong order. I spent over £66 and ordered two puddings and didn’t get either! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!

Delivery was very late due to a technical issue. However we were informed, and kept up to speed. When it arrived it was amazing and well worth the wait. Thank you for keeping us in the loop for the delay. Great customer service, in the light of an issue. Thank you.

Ordered online, on a Staurday night, and even though it was peak time, the food cam hot and fresh and fast enough. It was delicious, 4 different burgers, 4 different sides and 5 milkshakes between us, and all of them were gorgeous, well presented and absolutely demolished! 10/10!

Number didn’t work to call and cancel order as ordered saying it would be 15-30 minutes. They told me it had been delivered over and hour and 20 minutes later and i had to leave due to work. So no idea where the food went.

Food is good but ordered at 7:45 tonight (Friday) and it's actually taken 2hrs to get the food to us. 8:57 I called up to chase it, literally just turned up at my door now. 9:45. Just eat gave a timeframe of less than 45mins If the delivery is going to be late, you got to tell people.

Order arrived 2 hours after it was ordered. At the time of ordering website stated under an hour for delivery.

Chips were old and stale, the corn is was dripping with oil even though it fried it was way too much. The shroom sandwich bread was stale. The peri chicken burger was the only decent thing.

The menu sounds amazing, the food was good when it arrived, tasted amazing, decent portion sizes. Just the delivery time - just over an hour late after a chasing phone call. Next time I’ll collect or eat in.

We're long term shack customers but we've been having more and more disappointing experiences in recent times. We ordered based on the quoted delivery time being around 30mins, which ended up being nearly 2 hours. All sides were cold/soggy and hadn't been seasoned as requested. Burgers had a tiny bit of lettuce which was wilted.

Food was delicious, but was out for delivery so long that the quality was impacted, didn’t feel fresh. We did call the restraint twice, the team member was very helpful and courteous, but the driver took so long to get to them then even longer to deliver.

This was so disappointing. the menu sounds really interesting. but the sandwich was bland and had no dressing or salad, the chips were cold and soggy, the halloumi with mango was saturated and over sweet, and the burger was bland and dominated by the bun. Absolutely awful quality.

When ordering advertised as delivery would be 20-40 minutes ended up being over an hour

This was our first time have wanted to try it for a while and we weren't disappointed food was great had burgers and shared a dirty taco's very freas and tasty will definitely visit again our waiter Archie was helpful and very friendly

My order was late and instead of no mayo on my burger like I asked for, it came with mayo and the food was cold as well. This is not what i expected when I ordered it, I am not impressed this was very disappointing!!! I would not recommend it!!

Had to ring multiple times to ask when this will be delivered. Once provided to the driver it took a further 50 minutes to arrive.

When we first started ordering from the shack the food arrived on time if not early & lovely and hot but recently it’s gone really downhill food is always late, delivery drivers ringing you over & over again because they can’t find you despite you giving them directions & food has been cold probably won’t order from them again which is a shame.

Amazing burgers, like nothing I’ve ever tasted before! Recommend the loaded waffle fries too. Milkshakes are phenomenal, especially the peanut butter and mint aero!

Give delivery time as 15-30 minutes. Estimated 45-1hr. Then delayed by another 10minutes. Then went to the wrong address and rang me- waited another 15mins he rang again asking me to send my address!! Obviously cancelled as food would be inedible.

Got the le boeuf burger on Christmas Eve delivered and not only was it smack on time but it was literally the best burger I have ever had. This is not even a joke but the burger was so good I actually cried a little when finished 🤷🏽‍♂️

Me and my partner visited the Shack for the first time yesterday and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our food came out in good time and it was piping hot and delicious. We were shocked to see that there weren't more people in the restaurant, we would 100% recommend to anybody. We will absolutely be coming back soon.

Whilst I love the food here, the takeaway never does it justice. Every dish was delicious but luke warm and that’s being generous. And the gravy was missing, not happy about that. Not a lot a can do about the delivery, was just long.

If I could rate it a 6/5 I would! Such friendly staff who were really helpful at deciding what to pick from there vast menu. Everything myself and my partner ordered was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious! The food came out super speedy aswell. Definitely will be returning!

Tbf they were very quick to action it and send a member of staff out from the restaurant. Think my order was roughly an hour late and cold so they sent a new one out. Tasty but i would recommend going in-store rather than getting delivery

Phoned up in advance to try order due to some changes for the food the app wouldn't let us do. man on the phone rather ignorantly told us to use the notes to change stuff - still got order wrong

Where we sat was a smell of sick/poo.. mentioned it to waitress and she said yes we know and have told owners! Had bbq chicken , so much sauce made the crispy chicken soggy , potato bites tasted of oil, expensive for what it is. Won’t be returning !

Food arrived 1 hour 20 mins late, stone cold. Had obviously been cooked for the time it should have originally arrived. Called the restaurant to complain only to be told that the kitchen was closed and to go through Just eat for a refund.

Do not recommend. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for food that never arrived. Staff seemed disorganized and unapologetic. No updates, no explanation—just a complete waste of time. We eventually gave up and left hungry and frustrated. Avoid this place if you value your time.

Sat inside for 2 hours waiting. Could see delivery drivers going in and out, so we could only conclude they were prioritising online orders over physical customers. Asked where our order was to be told it'd be 15 minutes. Didn't arrive. Zero communication as to where our food was after getting drinks. They seemed annoyed that we eventually left. Will not be going there again. The only good thing was the atmosphere.

They were over an hour late, contacted the Shaq and they offered a complimentary drink as an apology, once the order finally arrived it was cold and there was no complimentary drink. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered tuna griddled sandwich that was supposed to have mozzarella and tomato in, but it was just tuna and mayonnaise. While it tasted ok, it was not what I ordered or paid for, and certainly not value for money. The corn ribs were a nice idea but very dry with no sign of the aioli on the description. First time ordering from here and not sure I’d order again.

Don’t really want to leave a star at all. Turned up for my birthday, which we had booked a table for 6:30pm, to be told they had no chicken. Half the menu off the table as a chicken shop had no chicken. Felt extremely sorry for the waiting staff having to let us down, as they felt so awkward telling us. Struggled to then find somewhere else to eat on a Saturday night at such late notice. The least they could have done is gave us a call before we made the trip out. Disappointed to say the least as this is usually where we go at least once a month, now we won’t bother.

Going downhill! Have eaten at The Shack a number of times now since it's launch and came away from my most recent visit not planning on returning. Our order got mixed up with another table, food came out cold, poor service coupled with no apology from staff over any of the problems with our visit. A shame as this was a real asset to the town when it first opened.

It was one thing to order from here when the food was amazing but the service was incredibly slow, but when you now order and the food tastes like the bottom of an ashtray and is completely cold, that's when its time to give up. This might be the most incompetent resturant in the country. We once booked a table for 8pm and when we arrived we were told there would be a 1 hour a 40 minute wait despite the place basically empty. We were told this was due to them prioritising Just-Eat orders. Your food was the one thing you had going for you, now you got nothing. 🤷‍♂️

We just order this evening... Kids meal, OG beef burger, saucy chicken burger, tatter tots, beef bites and sticky chicken tenders Tatter tots, OG burger, beef bites were 10/10 seasoning, flavour, textures, great 👍.. The chicken burger and tenders where decent, kids meal is lacking for £7 chips wernt the best and came with no drink for the price I'd expect at least a fruit shoot or something. Came quickly and was still hot so, id go again but I will say very expensive for a takeaway £50 bill for all the above is a tad high

Excellent food, very tasty but is it worth the 1h wait to be served ? Not sure. I am in the food industry and I understand that everyone has to be served but, if it is taking long offer a side to keep your customer fully happy. Just saying.

The quality and quantity is amazing, this is not just your average burger place. The flavours and originality are like no other. All the sides taste amazing, an impressive kids menu, desserts are delicious and delivered still presented well.
