This was our first time have wanted to try it for a while and we weren't disappointed food was great had burgers and shared a dirty taco's very freas and tasty will definitely visit again our waiter Archie was helpful and very friendly

My order was late and instead of no mayo on my burger like I asked for, it came with mayo and the food was cold as well. This is not what i expected when I ordered it, I am not impressed this was very disappointing!!! I would not recommend it!!

When we first started ordering from the shack the food arrived on time if not early & lovely and hot but recently it’s gone really downhill food is always late, delivery drivers ringing you over & over again because they can’t find you despite you giving them directions & food has been cold probably won’t order from them again which is a shame.

Had to ring multiple times to ask when this will be delivered. Once provided to the driver it took a further 50 minutes to arrive.

Amazing burgers, like nothing I’ve ever tasted before! Recommend the loaded waffle fries too. Milkshakes are phenomenal, especially the peanut butter and mint aero!

Give delivery time as 15-30 minutes. Estimated 45-1hr. Then delayed by another 10minutes. Then went to the wrong address and rang me- waited another 15mins he rang again asking me to send my address!! Obviously cancelled as food would be inedible.

Got the le boeuf burger on Christmas Eve delivered and not only was it smack on time but it was literally the best burger I have ever had. This is not even a joke but the burger was so good I actually cried a little when finished 🤷🏽‍♂️

Me and my partner visited the Shack for the first time yesterday and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our food came out in good time and it was piping hot and delicious. We were shocked to see that there weren't more people in the restaurant, we would 100% recommend to anybody. We will absolutely be coming back soon.

Took over 2 hrs from ordering delivery was 20mins late so got cold food. Will definitely NOT be ordering again!

If I could rate it a 6/5 I would! Such friendly staff who were really helpful at deciding what to pick from there vast menu. Everything myself and my partner ordered was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious! The food came out super speedy aswell. Definitely will be returning!

Whilst I love the food here, the takeaway never does it justice. Every dish was delicious but luke warm and that’s being generous. And the gravy was missing, not happy about that. Not a lot a can do about the delivery, was just long.

Tbf they were very quick to action it and send a member of staff out from the restaurant. Think my order was roughly an hour late and cold so they sent a new one out. Tasty but i would recommend going in-store rather than getting delivery

Phoned up in advance to try order due to some changes for the food the app wouldn't let us do. man on the phone rather ignorantly told us to use the notes to change stuff - still got order wrong

Where we sat was a smell of sick/poo.. mentioned it to waitress and she said yes we know and have told owners! Had bbq chicken , so much sauce made the crispy chicken soggy , potato bites tasted of oil, expensive for what it is. Won’t be returning !

Food was good and came hot. But came an hour and 45 min after I ordered it, when the estimated delivery before order was 35-45 min.

Order was 2 and a half hours late and food all cold on delivery. I rang the restaurant twice and each time, they gave me different estimates for delivery times. Food was ruined by the time it arrived.

Food arrived 1 hour 20 mins late, stone cold. Had obviously been cooked for the time it should have originally arrived. Called the restaurant to complain only to be told that the kitchen was closed and to go through Just eat for a refund.

Positive atmosphere staff are on point lovely food, the food was quick to come out from the kitchen and every bite I felt like I was in heaven. Ignore the negative comments because every bit of food sent out look like the chefs worked so hard

Do not recommend. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for food that never arrived. Staff seemed disorganized and unapologetic. No updates, no explanation—just a complete waste of time. We eventually gave up and left hungry and frustrated. Avoid this place if you value your time.

Sat inside for 2 hours waiting. Could see delivery drivers going in and out, so we could only conclude they were prioritising online orders over physical customers. Asked where our order was to be told it'd be 15 minutes. Didn't arrive. Zero communication as to where our food was after getting drinks. They seemed annoyed that we eventually left. Will not be going there again. The only good thing was the atmosphere.

Just terrible all round cold soggy and took nearly 3 hours too come I’m sure it would be different if you ate in but if I was them I would take yourself of just eat because it’s disgraceful

They were over an hour late, contacted the Shaq and they offered a complimentary drink as an apology, once the order finally arrived it was cold and there was no complimentary drink. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered tuna griddled sandwich that was supposed to have mozzarella and tomato in, but it was just tuna and mayonnaise. While it tasted ok, it was not what I ordered or paid for, and certainly not value for money. The corn ribs were a nice idea but very dry with no sign of the aioli on the description. First time ordering from here and not sure I’d order again.

Don’t really want to leave a star at all. Turned up for my birthday, which we had booked a table for 6:30pm, to be told they had no chicken. Half the menu off the table as a chicken shop had no chicken. Felt extremely sorry for the waiting staff having to let us down, as they felt so awkward telling us. Struggled to then find somewhere else to eat on a Saturday night at such late notice. The least they could have done is gave us a call before we made the trip out. Disappointed to say the least as this is usually where we go at least once a month, now we won’t bother.

Originally time said 45 mins-1 hour, but took 2 hours to come and food was cold and burger bun soggy when it arrived

Going downhill! Have eaten at The Shack a number of times now since it's launch and came away from my most recent visit not planning on returning. Our order got mixed up with another table, food came out cold, poor service coupled with no apology from staff over any of the problems with our visit. A shame as this was a real asset to the town when it first opened.

It was one thing to order from here when the food was amazing but the service was incredibly slow, but when you now order and the food tastes like the bottom of an ashtray and is completely cold, that's when its time to give up. This might be the most incompetent resturant in the country. We once booked a table for 8pm and when we arrived we were told there would be a 1 hour a 40 minute wait despite the place basically empty. We were told this was due to them prioritising Just-Eat orders. Your food was the one thing you had going for you, now you got nothing. 🤷‍♂️

We just order this evening... Kids meal, OG beef burger, saucy chicken burger, tatter tots, beef bites and sticky chicken tenders Tatter tots, OG burger, beef bites were 10/10 seasoning, flavour, textures, great 👍.. The chicken burger and tenders where decent, kids meal is lacking for £7 chips wernt the best and came with no drink for the price I'd expect at least a fruit shoot or something. Came quickly and was still hot so, id go again but I will say very expensive for a takeaway £50 bill for all the above is a tad high

Food was late and cold bag was ripped open and given someone else order. Not the best but have eaten in the restaurant before and was much better

Excellent food, very tasty but is it worth the 1h wait to be served ? Not sure. I am in the food industry and I understand that everyone has to be served but, if it is taking long offer a side to keep your customer fully happy. Just saying.

Absolutely amazing tasting food. Arrived hot and the flavours were just out this world.

The quality and quantity is amazing, this is not just your average burger place. The flavours and originality are like no other. All the sides taste amazing, an impressive kids menu, desserts are delicious and delivered still presented well.

We thought upon ordering the chips would be plain but instead had Cajun spice over them. If that was an option then would have been more clearer. And I asked kindly to have no siriacha sauce on either burgers but they both came with anyway. Both meals wasn’t enjoyed to a pleasant standard unfortunately.

I ordered at 7.25pm and it arrived at 9.25pm. The food was stone cold when it arrived. The restaurant had nothing to say other than the order had gone out and it was with the delivery driver.

Guys ordered from you before and have been happy with the order. But tonight the order was late and it was cold and just arrived in a brown paper bag! This wouldn’t prevent me ordering again but it’s an issue that needs review and prevention.

Missing items. Chicken inedible. Veggie flex and burger sloppy and falling apart.

Well that’s just ruined my diet for the foreseeable future! WOW! The burger was like a taste eruption with every bite from start to finish. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and balanced with fresh toppings and sauces. The loaded waffle fries which I expected to have a spoonful of bolognese on top, was a meal in itself. I regret having enjoyed it so much as I couldn’t stop eating and am now too full! And the milkshake? FINALLY a premium milkshake that tasted like a premium shake! 5 stars isn’t enough!

Very very disappointed food jokingly asked them to put it back in the microwave. Worked in the food industry always a new one no they did just put it in the microwave. Plus a family sat next to us 10 mins after ordered the same thing and they sent it back as well. I'd rather give my money to whetherspoons and try me that the truth

Although the food was amazing. There was an extremely rude waitress. Kept calling me bro and then calling me a boy. I have never encountered such rudeness from a waitress. It felt as if I was being rushed with my meal. I strongly recommend to eat at the shack after some staff training is carried out.

Got the wrong burger first of all but as soon as I got in contact with them I was sent out a new one. Good quality food

The Shack is hands down the best place I have ever been for a burger, this opinion has also been shared by everyone I have introduced to this fine establishment. Not only is the food always hot and delicious the staff are always very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

The food took 2.5 hours to arrive & was cold when it arrived. The order finally arrived at around 22:25pm

Shocking had to wait for 1hr 45, whilst i sat and watched my mates eat as they got their food earlier. Next time im going to order from the same place as them as im not waiting that long again, and a total waste of money. Definitely not worth what i spent.

Massive fan of the shack since they opened. It’s always best going to the restaurant but the food that’s delivered is always fresh and hot still.

The burger was really poor, not beefy at all. The chips were like woodworking nails, rock solid sticks of cardboard tasting potato.. literally inedible, not sure if they were refried but either way, very very poor. Mozzarella sticks were really good though and massive with a southern fried crumb. Overall based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it here. Although everyone else's reviews are great and I had been recommended by a friend, I certainly didn't have the same experience. Disappointed but next time I'll be going back to buns galore in sandy for a proper beefy smash burger and tasty fresh chips. Just to note, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing on them, just the food.

Wow!!! What a place. 1st time we had ordered food from here and I wasn't disappointed. Thank you to the lady behind the bar for my free birthday drink as I waited for my takeaway.....and to top off a great day putting the most amazing chocolate waffle in my bag as a birthday treat. We have had an amazing experience and will be back. We are Shack worshippers now!!!!

Perfect. You could charge at least 50% more for your chicken tenders.

Service was good, atmosphere was good. Food is average, lots of people raving about it but it's nothing special or worth the price. The hot sauce is absolutely hot, should come with warning as it's just bitter hot. The cocktails are a rip off, glass full of ice.

Best burger in Hitchin. Go and judge for yourself. The manager and staff there are just the friendliest bunch. I'm just scared that I'll be going more than I should, but I can live with that.

OG burger was amazing, the sweet potato fries crispy still and seasoned well and finally the biscoff cheesecake was to die for. only let down is driver dropped my drink on the floor.

Got a takeaway from here last night, absolutely unbelievable, beef burgers were juicy and full of flavour, will definitely eat here again!

Amazing food! Burgers are huge and fantastically priced. I also highly recommend the milkshakes, Kinder Beuno in particular. Service is also great, which is rare these days, can get busy so safer to book ahead (only available at Biggleswade site)

I don't like leaving negative reviews. However, we went here last night and were really looking forward to it. The staff were lovely and this is the only reason we left a tip. The food although well cooked, tasted of the same spicy marinade, even on the halloumi fries and the "plain" chicken strips. The thing that unfortunately topped the evening off was that my other half was really looking forward to the waffles for dessert, but when we came to order we were informed that they had run out of waffle mix. This, when one of the two main dessert options is waffles, was very disappointing. It seemed that the company was focusing on the new restaurant in hitchin rather than keeping their standard high in the biggleswade one. Just a big shame really.

Exceptional quality — well worth the money!

Onion rings had fallen apart by the time it arrived. And the OG burger had cheese despite us asking for it not to have cheese.

Order was perfect! Best burgers in Biggleswade by far.

Food is great, only ever had one experience that wasn't great and it was an issue with delivery time, but the food is ALWAYS top notch.

Mozzarellas were squashed flat so all the cheese was out of them and none of the food was hot on arrival! The only thing that was hot was the spice on everything. Bit disappointed after hearing the raving good reviews.
