The Shack is hands down the best place I have ever been for a burger, this opinion has also been shared by everyone I have introduced to this fine establishment. Not only is the food always hot and delicious the staff are always very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

The burger was really poor, not beefy at all. The chips were like woodworking nails, rock solid sticks of cardboard tasting potato.. literally inedible, not sure if they were refried but either way, very very poor. Mozzarella sticks were really good though and massive with a southern fried crumb. Overall based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it here. Although everyone else's reviews are great and I had been recommended by a friend, I certainly didn't have the same experience. Disappointed but next time I'll be going back to buns galore in sandy for a proper beefy smash burger and tasty fresh chips. Just to note, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing on them, just the food.

Wow!!! What a place. 1st time we had ordered food from here and I wasn't disappointed. Thank you to the lady behind the bar for my free birthday drink as I waited for my takeaway.....and to top off a great day putting the most amazing chocolate waffle in my bag as a birthday treat. We have had an amazing experience and will be back. We are Shack worshippers now!!!!

Service was good, atmosphere was good. Food is average, lots of people raving about it but it's nothing special or worth the price. The hot sauce is absolutely hot, should come with warning as it's just bitter hot. The cocktails are a rip off, glass full of ice.

Best burger I’ve ever had. My partner and I have been wanting to go here for ages and it lived up to the hype. Will definitely be coming back.

Best burger in Hitchin. Go and judge for yourself. The manager and staff there are just the friendliest bunch. I'm just scared that I'll be going more than I should, but I can live with that.

OG burger was amazing, the sweet potato fries crispy still and seasoned well and finally the biscoff cheesecake was to die for. only let down is driver dropped my drink on the floor.

Got a takeaway from here last night, absolutely unbelievable, beef burgers were juicy and full of flavour, will definitely eat here again!

Amazing food! Burgers are huge and fantastically priced. I also highly recommend the milkshakes, Kinder Beuno in particular. Service is also great, which is rare these days, can get busy so safer to book ahead (only available at Biggleswade site)

I don't like leaving negative reviews. However, we went here last night and were really looking forward to it. The staff were lovely and this is the only reason we left a tip. The food although well cooked, tasted of the same spicy marinade, even on the halloumi fries and the "plain" chicken strips. The thing that unfortunately topped the evening off was that my other half was really looking forward to the waffles for dessert, but when we came to order we were informed that they had run out of waffle mix. This, when one of the two main dessert options is waffles, was very disappointing. It seemed that the company was focusing on the new restaurant in hitchin rather than keeping their standard high in the biggleswade one. Just a big shame really.

Exceptional quality — well worth the money!

Onion rings had fallen apart by the time it arrived. And the OG burger had cheese despite us asking for it not to have cheese.

Food is great, only ever had one experience that wasn't great and it was an issue with delivery time, but the food is ALWAYS top notch.

Order was perfect! Best burgers in Biggleswade by far.

Mozzarellas were squashed flat so all the cheese was out of them and none of the food was hot on arrival! The only thing that was hot was the spice on everything. Bit disappointed after hearing the raving good reviews.

Went to wrong address phoned me and said I no find you had to walk around looking for him The only person I know that couldn’t find us then the food was only just warm

Ordered at 6.20pm. Estimated delivery 7.30pm. App said delivered- it wasnt. Called shop to be told it must be an issue with the app as it hasnt left the restaurant, would be another 20 minutes (8pm at the earliest). No discount offered. Nearly 2 hrs!

Food was 45 minutes late, but appeared in the app as delivered on time. Restaurant advised it had “just this minute left the building” when I first called. Took a further half hour for a 5 minute trip.

Love the shack. Always delicious, it is of course generally better in the restaurant but the delivery was still good worth the wait.

Atmosphere is amazing, staff are second to none, the cocktails at unbelievable the best I’ve ever had I would highly recomemd, the variety is amzing and you won’t find better anywhere else, the food is out of this world as well I will be back to try the ones I didn’t have last time highly recommend best place to eat and drink in Biggleswade

Good food delivery driver Is great

I’ve eaten many times at the shack and this is first time I’ve asked for a delivery. The food was as tasty and filling as what you get at the restaurant albeit it slightly colder which is understandable due to the delivery element, that being said it still arrived at a decent temperature to eat and within the allocated delivery time window provided. Highly recommend.

First time trying it and honestly I'm blown away It tastes fantastic from the first bite of the dirty fries as well beautiful they are absolutely fantastic I highly recommend this place

Don't usually leave reviews but had to, good food, amazing staff, catchphrase on the TV.

The food here was amazing, and very generous portions, the chicken selects were huge and delicious, the wings were a real good size with plenty of crispy crunchy coating and sauce. Everyone enjoyed and felt very well fed.

Went for the first time tonight. Food was fantastic and so were the staff. Will definitely go again. Need to be able to get the N.W.B in a burger as it would work so well!

Lovely place with delicious food and amazing staff. It was our first time going to the Shack today and we already planned on going another time very soon. There are so many options for food and drinks and everything we had was absolutely incredible.

Had a lovely few hours at The Shack (Biggleswade branch) with friends and served by the very friendly, happy and attentive Keira. Food was great, service was second to none (thanks Keira) and the vibe of the restaurant and the management all extremely lovely. Highly recommend it.

Honestly the best burger I have ever tasted!!!

Last minute baby sitter so we headed down to the shack. Food and staff were excellent, Ash was very kind and made me a his own special old fashioned cocktail on the house, he took the time to have a chat with me and my partner even though clearly very busy. Great vibe, highly recommend. 😄

Amazing food, takes a little while but that’s because it’s cooked fresh which I really appreciate as I am dairy free so could swap things in and out easily. Great service especially the smiley waitress Keira. Great food, great service, will be back.

One of the best burger shacks you can find in the UK. I got the stack it was so juicy so much flavour and a massive portion I've eaten a lot of burgers this one takes the trophy I highly recommend this place

Today we went to The Shack for the first time. I loved the atmosphere and modern interior. We ordered milkshakes for drinks. 2x Kinder bueno and 1x Oreo. Amazing thick and chunky! I ordered the Mac Beefy a double beef patty with mac n cheese. Crispy smashed meat, very tender. The buns were crispy with a strong taste of butter. The Mac n cheese worked amazing inside thick and creamy cheese sauce. The burgers were huge and were very filling. On the side I got the halloumi fries, Mozzarella Sticks, breaded cream cheese jalapeño peppers and sticky situation bbq chicken tenders. My favourite sides were the Mozzarella sticks and Halloumi fries. Nicely seasoned and fried perfectly. The tenders were amazing but next time I would go for a different sauce as I personally didn’t like the bbq sauce on top. Huge tenders and really good chicken! Lastly I didn’t like the stuffed cheese jalapeño peppers as the cream cheese was a bit watery, with the fried breadcrumb around it falling off the jalapeño easily as well. Personally these were a pass. Everything else was delicious, I really enjoyed it!

Food was delicious but we was sadly missing our chips, the restaurant did offer to send some, but our burgers would have been cold/gone by then, so we settled for a refund for them, luckily we had potato tots which were really good

Really bad service very slow hard to get staff attention, had to wait 1hr and half for a burger and two other customers were waiting similar times. I didn’t understand as the restaurant wasn’t busy and also no apology about the delays

Lord have mercy of your sins. How can you justify £2.80 for a can of fizzy pop. Fizzy expensive pop. Fizzy fizzy bank account drizzy pop. I shall not stand for it! I will represent the people when I say this, please rectify this ungodly act of sin. (Food though absolutely beautiful 10/10)

We had the best meal of our trip to Biggleswade. Their burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked, the fried potatoes were out-of-this-world crispy, and the drinks menu was excellent. Highly recommend!

Wow, if you've not been to the Shack in Biggleswade, you need to go. We went last night and absolutely loved it. I stupidly didn't book a table because I didn't think we would need to during the week, but it was really busy when we arrived. A good sign that the food is good. Thankfully, they managed to squeeze us in. The service was super, the food took a while but oh my it was so worth it. I had the best halloumi fries I've ever had, not a squeak to be had. They simply melted in your mouth. The flavour of all the dishes was a taste sensation, a little spice, a lot of sticky, a lot of greatness. We obviously did the newbie thing of ordering way too much but they clearly see this often because we were handed a box to bring the goodies home. Will enjoy these goodies today for lunch. We will definitely go again (and remember to book next time). Huge thanks to Layla, Daniel and Richard who looked after us for the evening. Cant wait to see you again 😊😊😊

This was my second visit to The Shack. The service was great, really attentive, and everyone is so friendly and polite. The food was delicious, my only complaint is I couldn't finish it all. Keep up the great work. I'll be back :)

First visit to this place and it was excellent. First impressions were good, great decor, nice menu (slightly pricey for Biggleswade) but understandable as most places have increased in cost. Daniel who served us was absolutely excellent, you could see he has a real passion for what he does and that kind of enthusiasm is infectious. I believe they are opening one in Hitchin too which we’ll visit and hopefully Daniel will be showing off his mixology skills! The burgers are heavy and I would say not exceptional for the price. The wings were amazing, fries decent and the milkshake brilliant. Well worth your time to visit!

My husband and daughter visited on Sunday and enjoyed a vegan burger/ chicken burger and a beef burger was enjoyed by us all. My husband had a side of chicken wings with bbq which he said was delicious. The atmosphere and decor was chilled, fresh and clean. Looking forward to returning already

Everytime we have been here, its always been a great experience! This time was no exception. Got a take-away and just as we were heading off, got a call to say one of the items were missing and if we were able to head back to the restaurant. We just headed straight back and given apologies, offered a drink and given some money off (was cheeky and thought wed add milkshakes onto the order as well when we went back)! Thanks guys :)

The food was really good. Only let down was, they got our order wrong and we had to ask for our drinks...twice. It was a shame because other than that, it was an ok evening

Great food, but took over an hour to come, and that was on a week night when it wasn’t even particularly busy. We were seated right by the door to the kitchen so not the best location but service was friendly. Not sure I’d recommend for somewhere to sit and have a nice meal but would definitely recommend as a takeaway.

Visited Biggleswade branch for the first time, and we will deffinately be back. The food was amazing, the service lovely, and could not find any faults. Great value and great food.

Sadly wings were incorrect we got bbq and ordered mango.

Our order was missing half the items and over an hour late , when they resent out the correct items (another hour later) it was cold, no apology and still no answer on the phone! So 2 and half hours later and no dinner , and nearly £100 down

Very disappointing first impression! It was my birthday meal with few of my friends as I was suggested coming here as the burgers are incredible, On arrival the gentleman said did I call you today? I said no, why is that, He said oh nothing let’s get you seated and explain the situation. We was informed that a burger restaurant has no burger Buns!! Or chicken wings! They can do the burger with out buns and they have chicken tenders- we was very disappointed but being a Saturday night and was booked 3/4 weeks ago it would of been a struggle to get seated else where and couldn’t be bothered with the hassle! We sat down and they took our order and it was very quiet in there as you can imagine no buns I’m sure a lot of people walked out, the drinks took a fair while to arrive, On receiving our food we only received 1 dirty fries out of 5! And they realised after 10 minutes came to apologise and cooked up another 5 which took another 20 minutes to receive the dirty fries! All in all it was a disaster and mistakes after mistakes were happening, We were all dissatisfied and upset with the result to also not receive anything taken of the bill.

Went for a meal pre booked in advance, sat in a booth where chairs were to high for tables, all items came out in a weird order - waters, half of the drinks for the table, then the chips and sides, then the rest of the drinks, then the burgers. Wasn’t enough cutlery or napkins on the table for the amount of people we booked for, no servers asked us for sauces or anything more cutlery and napkins and kept going back and forth as forgot sauces we asked for ect. My main meal was wrong and it took 15 minutes to change it, I went up to the bar and complained as it was 15 minutes and my food was getting stone cold! I understand that the restaurant was full and busy but the staff could not handle it and there was no structure for the service. And we had No compensation offered or guest recovery Extremely disappointed as their social media’s looked amazing.

Despite the food being delicious, had a really poor experience here tonight. We were seated and waited to order, drinks took a while to come then half our food arrived, we then had to wait about 15-20 minutes for the rest of the food to arrive. I think they had forgot half our order and had to cook it! I let that go and didn’t make a fuss, once we had finished our mains we asked to see the dessert menu, the waiter informed us there was an issue with the booking system and they couldn’t offer dessert as needed our table. It felt like we were being kicked out! At no point at booking did we get told there was a limited time on our table and had our food not been so delayed we may have had time for dessert. I asked to speak to the manager and the response was he is behind the bar but he has only been here a couple of weeks! What does that matter? Really disappointed with the service and had two really disappointed children who couldn’t have dessert.

Best little find ever! Ate here for the first time and incredible food, lovely decor, presentation is spot on and service was perfect! Would 100% recommend

Comfortable setting. The burgers and sides are amazing these are not normal burgers but way way better. Portions are big so be careful how much you order unless you are very hungry

Food was fab was a good 1st time in that respect, decor was nice only downside there was us and another table on 1 side (a couple tables the other side) when the other table left they turned the music off our side along with the neon signage, it's not a major and won't stop us going back.

We have visited first time today and it was a pleasant surprise! Decor is very cool and burgers are super tasty! We had double shack, chicken burger Don-Le-Clay and chicken wings. Wow it’s was yummy!

Great for burgers and more ,good service and good food

I booked a table for my friends birthday meal and ended up quite disappointed. The restaurant was so unbelievably cold that you could actually see our breath while we spoke, my hands were so cold and sore that I was struggling to use my cutlery. They had nice electric heaters in the bathroom and the takeaway section of the restaurant was warm, it was just a shame we were put in the cold side of the restaurant for what should’ve been a lovely meal. Instead of being able to enjoy ourselves we were desperate to leave.

First time having street food. Was delicious . Friendly staff. Good service. Place had a good buzz about it.

Decided to treat myself after I’d heard really good things about the shack. They did not disappoint. The food, staff, atmosphere spot on. I’ll be back.

Can confirm, the Sunday Roast is just as banging as The Shack's legendary burgers. I might even go so far as to say, it's the best roast I've had as a meal out. The flavour on that plate was immense. Huge slab of beef, perfectly cooked. Presentation was lovely; loved the colourful veg. Roasties were crispy on the outside. Got cauliflower cheese as an extra which was well worth it. My friend had the chicken which I tried a bit of; it was succulent & the coating was crunchy. The gravy was thick & tasted amazing & we were given the right amount for our table. (Always die a bit inside when a roast arrives with some beige, watery liquid that tastes of nothing). Portions were generous.The only thing that could be improved is that the beef could have been hotter in temperature. I know this is early days so once this is cracked (which I know it will be), you're looking at the perfect roast, folks. Job well done, Team Shack. We'll definitely be back!

Went to try their new roast dinners and it was amazing. Beef was cooked beautifully and roast potatoes were big and crispy. The gravy was also amazing, really tasty. We brought three roast dinner with drinks and an Oreo milkshake to top it off. Highly recommend trying the roast dinners possibly the best in Biggleswade.

Amazing burgers and amazing sides! I love this place. The only thing keeping it from a full 5 stars is their kids menu. There really isn't one. And that makes it really hard to go to when you have kids. The burgers aren't really kid friendly and things like the chicken is a bit spicy. We said that when we go back, our kids would just have sides (halloumi sticks and tater tots, both excellent, but you get my point!). You need a children's menu. How hard could that be?

Came in on a tuesday evening to grab a quick takeaway on the way home. It was absolutely lovely and I can highly recommended the chicken tenders, the other half had a burger which she thoroughly enjoyed. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Next visit we will sit in for meal as its a really cool venue. Great addition to Biggleswade food scene. I'll be back.

Happy to have found a great burger place after moving here. Can't fault it, the chicken burger was great. Glad to hear they will do takeout for you if you call even if the website states they are not doing it during the week.

First time visiting The Shack and immediately greeted by the friendliest gentleman! We didn't have a booking but there was a lucky table for us and we were served our food and drinks quickly! The menu is just, wow. A little bit of everything you could fancy! All was fresh and absolutely delicious. I would say that if you aren't a fan of spice, let them know when ordering, it was my first time having macaroni cheese with a kick, which I enjoyed but it may not be for everyone! Ask for without seasoning. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back. My only downside of feedback would be, the seats are a little on the small side (which I understand it's a small venue) but other than that, amazing!! ✨ Parking behind in Chestnut avenue.

I have to give these guys a really good review. Came to the biggleswade store. There were 6 of us including someone with a wheelchair. We had reserved a booking. The seating was all sorted for us. The service we received were exceptional and went above and beyond for us. The food was awesome.

The burgers were fantastic and the milkshakes are delicious. However the sides were a let down. We had chips and MacnCheese and for the price the portion size of the chips was too small. And the MacNCheese was lacking flavour. The tables are too low for the benches so you feel almost hunched over and squeezed in.

The girls i was served by were lovely, so smiley and friendly, food was brill, other than the general manager wasn’t, he made our time uncomfortable, he says inappropriate comments and was just so loud! the size of the restaurant isn’t the biggest and his voice travels so much, he constantly made comments complaining and clearly can’t handle it. Was just to over the top.
