Fabulous lunch on the special menu, it is a really lovely restaurant with fresh tasty food. We will be visiting again soon..

Overpriced. £19 for a mixed grill includes three chunks of chicken and three lumps of lamb. Wouldn't recommend or go back unless they sort out the prices.

Food was very burnt the waiter didn't give straight answers and also gave the wrong info

Had lunch here numerous times well priced and delicious. Staff very friendly. Have also eaten in the evenings also excellent.

This place is ace, little Gem, Turkish food at its best. I stopped in randomly on business trip and was blown away by the service and quality of this food! The falafel were a delight! Kudos to this team!

A very pleasant surprise. Stopped for lunch as we were passing by and saw the banner advertising the set price three course lunch. The food was really good, being nicely cooked and really tasty. Will certainly be stopping again when we are next in the area.

Absolutely delicious food. After the starters I asked the waiter to book a table for us tomorrow evening. Very generous as well. Even the bread they brought out at first was worthy of note, with a smoky aroma having just been done on the grill. No service charge applied either but they still got more than ten percent from me. Sensible process, unlike another place nearby. A wonderful find.

Amazing food with good presentation. The ambience is also very welcoming. It was worth travelling outside Bedford. I'll definitely visit again.

First time here. We always go to turkish restaurants so have a great comparison to go by. This was the best we have been to. Nice atmosphere, good service and great food! The lamp chops and chicken wings are amazing! Even the salad was good! Highly recommend a visit

Lunchtime menu is amazing value and the staff and food are first class.

Excellent restaurant, superb service, I always stay in the hotel above when passing and eat here every night. You just cannot beat it. I will not ever stop coming here after trying the food for the first time last year. The quality is insane and the setting is fantastic, well thought through in every aspect. You can always expect a 5* experience at The Airman Kitchen!

My first time at this really nice Turkish restaurant, with easy parking. We had a table for four of us tonight, starter and mains were excellent quality and large portions. Service was friendly and very attentive. Reasonably priced as well. I recommend this Restaurant to anyone who likes Turkish Cuisine and will be returning again.

This is a nice Turkish restaurant and also very popular, it was packed when we visited. The menu is typical of what you would expect and the food is very good. It was my first time drinking the Turkish lager Efes, I really liked it. Considering how packed the place was we had our order taken promptly and the food came out in good time.

Although it was a Wednesday, the place was occupied with a few tables. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. As a party of 5, we were served efficiently. The waiter gave us more bread, made sure we had our full of drinks and anything else we wanted. The food was incredible, so much flavour and a lot to choose from. The mixed grill was all we had, one each, so not much of a variety from us. We also asked for extra Holloumi just as our mains came out, without any hesitation, the water went and got more. Brilliant night. So clean, so beautifully decorated and a great price for fantastic food.

Everything about tonight was a disaster. Booked a table and made to wait in the cold. Waited so long we had to get our own menus. Waited so long again we had to ask for our drinks. One main came with the starters. Then just before we got our mains they ask if we want chips or couscous as they had no rice!! My daughter’s kids meal was smothered in a vinegar of some sort and she could not eat it and our chicken was lukewarm. Service especially the male waiter was rude because we complained about the food. So many unhappy customers tonight that will not be seeing again. No discount offered only an apology. Then offered £3 off the bill then £10 off a bill of almost £115. They can stick it and have lost a regular customer for the takeaway and restaurant. Shame on them.

Wonderful food both eat in and take away. Authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and one of the best kept secrets in the area. The amazing cocktails are a bonus . Staff always very friendly

What a wonderful experience today attending the restaurant for the first time. I was amongst a group of around 22 of us, so obviously a large number, but the time and attention provided was excellent. The all chose from the fixed menu and tbh the array of all the foods not only looked amazing but was delicious. I personally had the bay leaves (I cannot recall the official name)starter followed by chicken shish. The chicken was so tender and the accompanied rice and salad was just perfect. The chocolate dessert was to die for!!!…delicious. Seriously, the overall attention to customer service, presentation, food and atmosphere was fantastic. Not to even mention the value of cost! Would I return, yes absolutely

I like the mediterranean taste, especially lamb dishes. Much more pleasant, shiny clean now building work is finished. Service, presentation and food was always tops.

It offered a delightful setting to explore and savour Turkish cuisine. Despite the initial bustling upon arrival, the service remained commendable, even though there was a slight delay in receiving our order. The ambience and aesthetics truly captivated me; the aircraft-inspired decor was exceptionally impressive. The flavors of the food were delightful, making it a splendid destination worth experiencing. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Place discovered by chance during a trip to England. The welcome is impeccable and the English and Turkish cuisine is truly excellent and generous, if you are in the area at lunchtime, don't hesitate to make the detour.

It's the best Turkish restaurant we've been to. The food is out of this world. Cooked to perfection. Beautiful restaurant. Amazing staff. Great cocktails and wines to choose from, too. Takeaway from here is also amazing. Always hot and fresh when it arrives. We would 100% recommended. We are looking forward to our next visit with friends. Thank you again, The Airman Kitchen

An absolute all arounder when it comes to the dinning experience. Food is delicious, portions are generous and staff are friendly. The atmosphere is great and the place is kept clean 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

The Airman kitchen was a real surprise, especially as we were staying in the Airman Hotel. That's another story! Very clean, food piping hot and very flavoursome. Service was prompt and polite. The atmosphere varies depending on how many people are dining. I would recommend it. A three course meal with a drink comes in around £65 - £70.

I wondered in here trying to find my way into the attached hotel. I was met with a barrage of abuse. A truly horrific and embarrassing experience. Shame one you!!!

Lovely food and service throughout

Great food, great atmosphere, fantastic flavours and generous portions. The menu is good and not too overwhelming. Lots of different flavour profiles and choices of meats. Service was attentive and excellent. Food came out quickly and presentation was pretty but not pretentious. I had hummus with diced lamb, filo parcels with feta, a vegetarian main of falafel, rice, hummus and salad and some of my partners mixed grill. Wow. It was all so delicious. We can’t wait to come back.

Turned up 9:28 on a Saturday evening, I just finished a shift in my own kitchen, did 7 grand, we tell the bar man we’re just going to sit for drinks, says it’s fine, rude waiters e comes up to us telling us he’s shut, I said bar man said we could drink, he huffs, throws some menu over, I try to make small talk he said I’m basically leaving because we’re closing. There’s table sat behind us still so I can’t see any issues and they are advertised to close at 2300. Maybe somebody needs to tell this guy that he’s not that great, I have better dignified waiters at my own restaurant looking for extra hours if you need replacement, 24.00 for two cocktails in an atmosphere where he’s trying to stare us down - first night out for a year and had to deal with that, you’re in shefford buddy not London, isn’t the first time he’s been rude either, will bring down that place pretty fast if nothing isn’t done.

Ordered food for delivery and couldn't have been more impressed. The food arrived quickly, was fantastic quality and really well packaged (ordered Moussaka, mixed shish, chick shish and falafel and hummus meals, along with cold starters) and we were able to have the restaurant experience at home. Ordered came with loads of delicious bread, tons of salad and an extra portion of rice. Will definitely be ordering again and would recommend to anyone.

Food nothing special . All crammed in a bag like a 3am kebab shop . Rice was very bland . Meats had nice flavour , but not enough to make me want to go back

We dined early 5.00 so atmosphere was very quiet but that was how we planned it, we had a 5 month baby with us who was welcomed. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was totally delicious. Thoroughly recommend this venue.

The food was good quality and the restaurant was nice and clean as you’d expect for the price point. The service was good also here. The reason why it dropped a star was the cocktails didn’t taste great and didn’t pack any punch when it came to the amount of alcohol in them. Also the salad was served with the main course not the bread and dips you get to start. (That’s me being picky) I will definitely be back , it is the best Turkish around the local towns to Henlow that I have had.

Amazing food, beautiful restaurant, my only criticism and it’s small, is that they were too quick to take away food. They give you some nibbles while waiting for the main and I was still eating it when the main came out and the nibbles were immediately taken away. My husband put his knife and fork down whilst eating the main, I’d finished and they came and took his main meal without asking if he’d finished. Having said all of that, I’ll be going back but maybe be more assertive next time.

Ordered for delivery, always arrives in 30 mins. Tasty, great value and as always too much food to finish. Thank you for the free dessert, it's a nice touch. Keep up the good work!.

Dined here with friends as we heard it was open again. The restaurant has been decorated to a very high standard it was a pleasure to dine in. Absolutely amazing food cooked to perfection! Top notch service from start to finish! Honestly couldn't fault it!

What a great place, clean, amazing friendly staff, beautiful food at a reasonable price. 10 out of 10 for everything. I was taken back by a friendly waiter called Numan really made the evening nice we followed his recommendations and it was really very good. It is nothing like the Airman was before it has had a complete revamp. It's definitely worth booking, do it on a day when you are hungry we had a mixed platter of Turkish mixed meat, chicken skewers, lamb shish, chicken wings, and lamb chops. Loads of different dips, a really nice fresh spicy sauce, humus, tatzeky and a glorious salad. 1000% I would recommend.

After reading the reviews my partner decided that this is a good place to have a birthday meal present for me, unfortunately was disappointing.there was nobody to welcome us, we had to wait for someone to come and we have been seated, the light in the room was poor, we could barely see our food from the plates. The food ratings here are overrated honestly. My partner had as a starter the minced lamb, 4 small bits of minced lamb meatballs placed on a full plate of red onion.I had the prawns with butter, 4 of them and 3 slices of mushrooms. The main dish we had chicken shish yoghurt and lamb shish yoghurt, absolutely disappointed, no flavour at all, the dish was mainly consisting flat bread soacked in a tomato sauce without any flavour and few bits of meat which we have truggled to find in that mix.no value for the money.I understand that is a family business and I appreciate effort but these reviews should be taken into account. I am not a hater but I want to make it clear for other people which might try the same things.

I ordered chicken shish, it was so yummy. I fancied a kabab after my day at work but couldn't be bothered to go out again. I ordered a take out from these guys...they arrived before the anticipated time by 15 mins!!! I read the negative reviews, and most definitely DO NOT agree with them. Food was plentiful, delicious bread and rice. My only complaint is that this has caused some serious damage to the diet ...there's always tomorrow.

Over priced for what you get! looks lovely if you eating in but get very small portion if you order for home delivery. Ordered mixed grill and was given 3 pieces of lamb and 4 pieces of chicken for £15!! When called as this was first time ordering they just said yes those are our normal portion size didn't even try to rectify as we were new customers. Very disappointed.

Ordered a takeaway last night, my first from The Airman, and was super impressed! I had chicken shish and it was absolutely delicious, really good quality chicken and cooked perfectly! It came with lovely soft bread, fresh salad and some sauces. My friends had lamb and they all loved theirs too! It was delivered exactly when it said it would be and the lady delivering was really friendly, as was the man I spoke to when I called them before ordering. Will definitely be ordering from The Airman again! 👌🏻✨️

Lovely food, fantastic staff, great prices, great atmosphere and very clean, although there is some renovations going on there, they did not affect restaurant and their car park is free for customers.

Small portions and overpriced, tough low grade meat. Not worth the price.

Very good food and friendly staff. Went in on a Sunday so understandably quiet. Happy to accommodate our 2 yo as well and to use the table as long as we wanted. All fresh and tasty. Would recommend to all.
