Nice surroundings and very pleasant staff. Didn't buy any food only a few coffees. Got a few pieces of tablet which was home made and 😋 Unfortunately not for sale.

I was there for a 7 course paring menu. The food was amazing! The atmosphere is lovely, as are the staff. I felt so relaxed and had an amazing time .

This place is such a special gem in Helensburgh. We were so lucky to host a birthday party here and Siobhan and the team made this such a seamless and thoughtful process, with a bespoke cocktail creation, gorgeous food and amazing service. La Jupe is one of the best places for cocktails, atmosphere and charm in Scotland.

This was our first visit to this lovely Mediterranean style wine bar/restaurant/coffee shop. Situated on the river estuary front at West Clyde St Helensburgh,this is a great place that you can use for any of the above purposes.On good weather days,like today the outside pavement tables are a suntrap with beautiful views toward the rosneath peninsula. The menu is exciting with Spanish style meat and cheese platters, a vast array of fish dishes,toasties, crepes etc.and there are daily specials.The staff are all lovely friendly girls who will help you with your choice from their large selection of fine wines and many other drinks. On the last weekend of each month there is live music.Today we had amazing chai latte which is hard to find along with some excellent cakes. I thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing time enjoying great food and drinks, when you are visiting Helensburgh.😊

Stopped off on Sunday for a drink. Sat outside enjoying the sun. Not too bad on price staff seemed friendly enough. Would certainly return.

I had seen this restaurant before but never had an opportunity to experience it . Today , we went in for a Sunday evening of fun . The cheese and meats platter was very European and we finally settled for the Spanish combo . What an absolute delight . Accompanied firstly with an excellent Spanish Orange wine ( or 2 ) and then on to the cocktail menu . What an incredible evening watching the sun slowly descend over the Clyde as a spectacle selection of the finest cocktails arrived and were enjoyed . . Finally , to put a cap on the frivolity , we had two wonderful coffees and settled the bill . Truly my favourite place in Helensburgh right now . Don’t change guys . You are killing it .👍😎👌 Thank you all very much for a most wonderful evening .

We walked into this little gem without a booking & we were glad we did. Oh the cheeses, cured meats, bread, olives & oatcakes were so good on the cold platter. My favourite by far was the fabulous cherry beer. The staff were very friendly & made u feel at ease. Highly recommended, don't walk past!

I was in for after dinner cocktails with my girlies and i was served by Abi. This girl is absolutely incredible. Never had customer service so great in all my life. Go Abi! Definitely felt the booze after that😘 she knows how to make a great cocktail🍸.

Went in mainly because the sun was out and La Jupe had outside seating, was pleasantly surprised with the menu. Ordered beer and coffee which were both great, we then selected bread, cheese, meat, pate and chutney as a sharing board from a large selection, everything on the plate was wonderful, top notch food. Well worth a visit, staff very friendly and welcoming, facilities very good.

The wine and atmosphere, service is good. But the charcuterie was terrible for its price, served like at grandma's house. Not worth it.

It's a lovely wine bar but could turn up the heating it was a cold day outside and inside not pleasant if you are eating in it couldn't take off my jacket

Wandered in on a whim having driven into Helensburgh and loved the atmosphere, the staff and the food. It was a surprising gem and would recommend the croque Madame. Would love to come back and sample the wine menu and charcuterie / cheese boards next time

Ten out of ten - cannot fault it. The best crepes and cocktails outside of Europe. Wonderful stuff and beautiful decor too.

A great little wine bar and a must when in Helensburgh. My second visit and certainly won't be the last. A large selection of great wine and cocktails, brilliant food at very reasonable prices. The cocktails were made perfectly and the food was made with good quality ingredients. All the staff are great, very polite and helpful. Dog friendly also 🐶 Such a great place to chill with a nice glass of wine looking out the window taking in the view of the Clyde estuary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My one and only experience of La Jupe was very good. Great service and a great atmosphere meant we had a great time. We will definitely be revisiting!

When planning out trip to Helensburgh I saw this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was a little apprehensive as it's not normally the kind of place I would go to but I booked it to try something different, I'm glad I did! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was awesome, we had the La rustique and nachos, and the wine complimented both perfectly. The nachos were the best I've ever had and the tomato chutney with the La rustique was excellent as were the cheeses, meats and pate. The music was great as was the atmosphere but it did get a bit loud at one point with all the chat going on but I didn't mine that. A must try if going to Helensburgh especlally if you like good wine or like my wife enjoy a great cocktail.

Called in today whilst visiting the town on our annual Scotland holiday. We picked this bar at random and so glad we did as we walked in and received such a lovely warm welcome from the waitress. Our dogs were as welcome as we were! The menu looked amazing so much choice of French plates and cheeses. So much choice!!! I ended up with a selection of cheeses and a liqueur coffee, my partner had a crepe and a tea. Lovely food and great service from all the staff. Would have loved to stayed a few more hours and worked our way through the menu! Would definitely recommend to others visiting the very pretty town of Helensburgh!

My favourite place to go for an evening out, I can recommend a mocktail if you're driving or doing dry January. All the staff are knowledgeable & professional but, great friends too. They welcome dogs with open arms, treats & water.

It was a flying visit unfortunately but so pleased we finally went. Lovely glass of a quality Provençal Rose. My friend had a pint of Loch Fyne lager. Friendly service and a perfect ambiance

Went in and to be fare it was busy but as we waited for half an hour it became quieter and yet still no drinks. Someone did come to apologise for the wait but no info on how long it would be. Ended up walking out and went to another pub

Came here yesterday for some crepes and just had to leave a review. The 3 girls on service were so bubbly and friendly. They also had a lovely rapport with each other - happy staff equals happy customers. The chef also came out with our food and he was so nice as well and the food was delicious! I felt in such good spirits afterwards having had a lovely experience. Well done La Jupe!

Staff were really friendly, drinks and food were really good plus the atmosphere inside felt very authentic. Bonus was they had vegan cheese for my better half! Would visit again.

Very cool place, the assiettes are big enough for two with nice cheese and charcuterie options, the pastry of the sausage roll was buttery and flaky really nice, the crepes was nice too…the owner/manager was very friendly and relax, also, is a dog friendly place

Love la jupe, mine and my partners little escape to feeling like we're in France after a busy week at work. Staff are so knowledgeable on wine and make fabulous recommendations. Recently noticed an increase in vegan options on the menu which is great to see, they cater for all!! LA JUPE IS A MUST WHEN VISITING HELENSBURGH THIS SUMMER.

Loved the continental ambience, had a very relaxed lunch and went back for cocktails in the evening when the place was buzzing. Staff were first class and like many wish there was such a place in my hometown.

Have loved this place since they first opened.. Such a chill, friendly vibe, always got great tunes on, and the dogs are soooo welcomed. Came down for a night of live folky music and the atmosphere was brilliant, as well as the tunes. Excited that they're having regular singer-songwriters in, as well as their jazzzzz. Oh and the drinks are tasty too!

It's a very friendly and relaxed place, the staff knowledge is very good too, especially to help guide someone like myself who doesn't know much about wine! There's a good selection of beers and wines, along with classic cocktails for multiple people. Highly recommend.

A lovely little place in the heart of Helensburgh. My wife and I always pop in for a drink on the rare occasion we get a night away from the kids. The staff are always very helpful, knowledgeable about the wide variety of drinks they offer and always ready to offer suggestions based on my likes.

Had an A star time on Easter Sunday listening to some amazingly talented musicians playing jazz whilst sipping cocktails, have a few nibbles and enjoying a great atmosphere with friends. La Jupe is a really special place.

Love this place. Small without being overly noisy, even when busy, and a nice view across the Clyde (when the weather allows). A good selection of wines, beers, and cocktails, and the coffee is good too. They have a good selection of meats & cheese, but it's the crepes that have me going back every week.

Our second visit to this great wee french cafe/bar,we first visited a month before the pandemic took off,great atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff,the food was brill with good choices of sharing platters,toasties and crêpes with fantastic fillings to choose from,the french meats and cheeses went down a treat,we had a table by a window so,we could watch the world go by as we enjoyed our meal, we'll be back 👍.

Limited menu cold meats and cheeses. Only problem 6 slice of bread 2 portions of butter. Was charged 80p for extra portion. Could have went to supermarket and bought for less.

It was a beautiful day and it we were lucky enough to get a table outside to sit and people watch. Prices I thought were very good.

We visited a busy Saturday evening a few weeks after lockdown had eased. Even though we hadn’t booked they managed to find us a lovely table in the window for a pre dinner drink. The bar was adhering to all covid guidelines. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great choice of drinks.
