The food was amazing- my first time trying lebanese food, and this has set high standards. The guys there are very friendly and you can tell they are very proud of their food. Prices are very reasonable as well. It is also a great location with a fair amount of seating outside.

Fabulous pub in the Dorset countryside and really worth finding. We stayed in the annexe with our dog and the room was great and very comfortable with your own private courtyard. The staff were very friendly and excellent service and the food was delicious. We will be going back.

I use to be a regular of this pub 35 years. It has been through turbulent times. I must say it is back on track. Very attentive staff, well stocked bar and relaxed atmosphere. Slightly high prices than the usual gastropub serving good food outside London

We recently went, with friends, to a Gin night at The Stables Fantastic event and food! We contacted them prior as we had one member with dietary needs and Karen was so helpful and went well above what we expected to make sure that everyone was catered for. Would thoroughly recommend The Stables and will be returning!

Real log fires crackling away, great atmosphere, we were a couple with a dog and treated amazingly. Thank you, will be back a few more times before we go home. Didn't see the rooms but thought it looked very nice throughout. Set on the River London it's a pretty location with ample parking.

Great food , i tried medium spicy soup and it was worth it . Amazing wagyu , japanese sausages and lamb . Sea food was fresh

This is a special place, the food was amazing , the quality and presentation was just excellent. Party of 10 for my wife's birthday , there is no better place to eat in Thurso.

We stayed at the hotel on Saturday night and decided to have dinner in the restaurant, after reading the reviews I wasn't expecting much, how wrong we were, we had the Scallops starter, I had Sea Bass, my wife had baked Cod for our mains and it was top quality, we have eaten in some of the best restaurants in this country and abroad and this was right up there if not better, hats off to the new Chef, brilliant work. Also a big thank you to Barry the hotel manager who works his socks off and looked after us.

The best steak pie I’ve ever eaten in my life. Katherine assisted me with our order and she could not be more pleasant to work with. Even the delivery driver was exactly on time and delightful funny and engaging. Strangely, the grill offers chicken enchiladas. This was as tasty as food I’ve eaten in Mexico and the heat level and Mexican spices were outstanding. We will order again from there tomorrow due to delicious food and charming staff.

I'm aware the house o'hill has just opened back up but our experience was as if we had just walked into faulty towers, there was a boss lady trying to take orders but didn't have a clue, a boss man that just wanted to stand at pizza counter and do nothing and a poor girl stuck on till not knowing how to work till and don't forget jack and Victor in the kitchen, there was 6 tables with people sitting and you thought there was 36 most meals came out late and wrong, also no alcohol sold people will wait for a meal if there drinking alcohol but not if there drinking coke, food was basic but good when we eventually got it, for the life of me I don't know what the problem was cause me and my wife could have served and cooked what was sitting on Saturday night ourselves with no help, I really hope they can turn this round
