Lovely little place, service friendly, if a little slow,but it wasn't a problem as it just forced us to relax a little. Excellent risotto and carbonara plus cheesecake to die for. Great to see they serve 0% beer too.

Super food and service as always. Small family bistro with extensive menu and specials board. Highly recommended.

Small, unpretentious restaurant where you can eat very good pizzas

My Partner and I love our Italian food and have tried many in the area. This restaurant offers some of the best food I have come across in our adventures. The service and atmosphere are excellent. I would recommend Padella Doro to anyone 5*

We were staying in Newhaven the night before catching a ferry, and called up to book an early evening table here a couple of hours in advance. It was a good job we booked as it‘s not huge and it filled up quickly. The food was great - pizzas and risottos were all very tasty, kids’ sizes available, and with drinks and desserts it came to less than £20 a head. Really good value for money, very friendly and efficient waitress. Definitely recommended

Such a cute restaurant, reasonably priced and amazing meal out. Boyfriend and I were visiting the area and came for dinner. I had the seafood pasta and it was the BEST seafood pasta I have ever had (and I get it everywhere!). My boyfriend had the Calzone and again it was lovely. It was a very hot day and a full restaurant so was a little warm but worth it for the food. Would 100% recommend going here if in the area, but definitely book as it is very small. The waitress was lovely and very attentive.

An amazing little establishment with excellent food and service. The chef, Mauricio, produces outstanding food at an affordable price. In the event that you find yourself in this area, I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended as there are limited spaces in the restaurant. As a starter, I had king prawns and for the main course, I had spaghettini bolognese. There is no doubt that I will return to Padella D'oro in the future.

First time to this restaurant as my friend Rhoda recommended it. Food and service was excellent. And I liked enjoyed it more as it is a family business. You have to book as there is limited tables.

We initially didn't expect much but really pleasantly surprised with the food and friendly service. The centre of Newhaven currently (centre ville) is sad but hopefully gradually will improve. This place worth a visit.

We visited the Padella D'oro Restaurant early Saturday evening and were absolutely delighted with the food, service and ambience. It really is an absolute gem, set back from the main road and with handy road side parking. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and portions generous. Where else can you enjoy a yummy well cooked main for under twelve pounds. thanks to the young lady who served us throughout and who provided us with perfect service. Highly recommended.

Starters absolutely amazing! Pizza nothing special at all. Received the wrong order after waiting 1 hour for 2 pizzas. Shame. Not sure if it was just a bad night for them but seems to only be 1 member of staff running kitchen, delivery, front of house etc.

Exceptional food with excellent service. We had 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 sides. All were presented fabulously and tasted incredible. Would recommend booking to get a table. We will definitely be back.

If we could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars we would. All dishes were full of flavour and hearty. The staff were professional and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We will definitely visit again.

We called in without a reservation, the restaurant was busy, which we took as a good sign. Fortunately, they were able to seat the three of us. The waitress was very friendly, and as it turned out very efficient. The food was excellent, really delicious. Next time we’re in Newhaven we’ll book to avoid disappointment. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm coeliac and had a delightful gluten free carbonara pasta and my friend had Canneloni. All freshly cooked and delicious. Bistro style restaurant and perfect for a catch up or romantic meal out.

The best salmon carbonara my wife has ever had! I had the Pizza Piccante and that too was superb! The next time we're in Newhaven, this is where well eat before getting the ferry home to France. Thank you.

Intimate friendly restaurant in the heart of Newhaven by the High Street and right by the harbour . Bolognaise; apple juice and tiramasu and 2 x double espressos . All very nice and friendly and professional attention from Mauricio - thank you

Food is okay. Friendly but very slow service when eating in. On one occasion I ordered a takeaway and they forgot the pizza. I had to wait for it to be cooked when I arrived; we ended up with a cold risotto and an undercooked pizza. I did not receive a response to my email. They currently only have a 3 star hygiene rating, so I have not eaten there in over a year.

Been here a good few times. But the last time the food was NOT as Good..there was5 me us and we all said the same..won't be going back anytime soon !!

Eat here quite a lot and always feel the food and service never falter. I like that everything tastes fresh.

Be careful when ordering from padella d'ora, their prices on Facebook are completely different to what they are charging you. I mentioned to them about Trade Descriptions Act and it being against the law, but they don't seem to care (no money back just completely ignored) I will be reporting to TDA

My husband and I eat here far too often for our waistlines but totally worth it. Always a top meal, cooked by Mel this time and front of house by Kelly who is an absolute joy. What a treasure! I can't believe I have lived in the area so long and not discovered Padella D'oro! The menu was extensive and very adaptable to my need for gluten-free food. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced and the lovely young lady who served us was so friendly and engaging. The atmosphere and music in the little restaurant had a really Mediterranean feel. An altogether enjoyable evening! Thankyou!

This is a small cosy restaurant and I would recommend booking as space is limited. The restaurant was full when we were there. The food was excellent and the tiramasu was outstanding. The house wine was very good and the whole meal was great value.

Stopped inby chance whilst waiting for a late ferry after Portsmouth service cancelled. What can I say but I fell on my feet. A small family run restaurant with a great home cooked menu. Good service and felt comfortable as a solo traveller. I will definitely be back next time I have to divert into Newhaven !

We ordered pizzas for delivery from here. They were very tasty and seemed of really good quality, ordering on the phone was easy and friendly and the food came quickly and was hot. Will definitely order from here again, will probably try the pasta next time.

We were really at a loose end when we wanted to find somewhere nice to eat before we got on the ferry. Luckily, we stumbled across this delightful Italian restaurant. It was warm and welcoming, the menu was varied and inviting, and good service, definitely recommend the homemade cheesecake dessert, yum yum. We had a lovely meal that set us up for our journey. Would highly recommend.

The best restaurant I have ever tried in Brighton especially the stake

Super little Italian tucked away in an unassuming setting but don’t be out off. This is a real treat with excellent quality Italian dishes and v drinkable and affordable house wine by the carafe too. We had a shared bruschetta starter then pizza for me, Pasta gamberetti for my wife and desserts plus wine for under £55.

After 3 weeks cycling in England. We finished perfectly! So big!
