Recently had a large group booking at Aspendos for 24 people, restaurant was great, service was slick and friendly and the food was really great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something that will cater well for a big group.

26-4-2025 drove past this place and the smell of fresh bread and pastry was fantastic, they have a great choice of breads cakes and hot foods, the hot food menus is very good and great prices, I had. Meat pie, the pastry was not thick and little flaky moist and the meat and juices fantastic, fresh brown bread still warm yummy, place is a return visit recommended

Did a charity fundraising skittles tournament here. Planning a large event the staff team went above and beyond to make our time easy and fun, providing a good selection of food really reasonably priced. The pub donated a bottle to our raffle showing support for the community. I heard many glowing comments from our group about the food, setting, and staff here. Would recommend for a party, meal out, or cheeky pint.

A quiet pub in Bangor. Wanted a comfy seat but all wooden. Good range of drinks but a bit expensive compared to other pubs in the town.

Delightful tapas. We had a nice variety of dishes, and staff was very attentive to gluten intolerance of one of our party. We especially enjoyed the tortillas espanol and baked mozzarella aubergine, as well as the garlic mushrooms and patatas brava.

Although I meet friends here regularly, I only ate properly the other day as I didn’t have any food in and some friends ordered. Had a king prawn linguine (starter size) as I’m a sucker for seafood. Beautifully presented and really tasty.
