Very lovely restaurant with lovely people and fantastic food!! Service is incredible and has it own rewards app to save up points for rewards. If you are thinking of going, park on the Asda opposite, there is a council carpark on there to walk to, only about 3 minute walk.

Absolutely fabulous food 😋 Had the sharing breakfast platter, it was delicious.

Matt’s service is outstanding we love the Sunday lunch and would highly recommend it, not just for the service and the perfectly cooked meats but the price is also very good. Thank you team Casters..

Breakfast with my son in the new look restaurant in 12th Jan 2924. The food and service were both excellent. Love the new modern ambience that's been created. All the expected dishes are on the menus. We couldn't fault any aspect of our visit and look forward to going back soon.

I've eaten here a couple of times before but this time there were issues with the food. First course was ok, main was fish and chips. In my opinion the fish was over done, batter was quite dark and the thin end of the fish was burned into the batter. I ordered sticky toffy pudding with custard for dessert, the pudding was cool and the custard was served cold, unfortunately it had to go back. Not sure why this happened, the food has always been excellent.

The service was good, and the food even better! Starters, calamari and rump steak, were cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. For mains we had steak which was cooked perfectly and the sides were brilliant, and duck breast which was also cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were brilliant. Dessert was also good. Variety of drinks available.

Food not up to normal standard, fish tasted off and chips overcooked with a big bad chip served on plate. It’s put me off going again, despite several nice meals. Waiter just said no one has said the fish was off before; could do with some training. Got given a free coffee, wow

very happy with my order, I had a roast, with beef. I could taste that the beef was fresh had a lovely flavour to it. the veg was really nice, tender, flavour was spot on, I loved the selection carrots are always a win, the cabbage surprised me as its not always what I'd have but it will be now, shredded and tasted peppery which was lovely. the roast were ok I like them a little softer through the centre with a crispy coating they seemed a little flat just a little feedback on those. the Yorkshire pudding was very good risen well and crispy and fluffy not heavy. extras orders was cauliflower cheese very good, mash was good underwhelmed with portion for price, so wouldn't order again. But overall the portion was definitely worth the money without extras!! 100% recommend

As always, a delicious breakfast. Everything tastes so amazing, and is high quality produce. But it’s the mushrooms and tomatoes with their subtle rosemary flavour that shows that the breakfast has been lovingly prepared by top chefs; not average cooks

The staff are lovely and wear face visors. They go through the appropriate checks (temperature check) etc. Everything is clean and fresh. The tables have hand sanitizer freely accessible which is great. The food is amazing, just had tapas and truly enjoyed it. Popped in for a drink - Nice cocktail and friendly staff. Bit pricey however this seems to be normal now for these kind of places. I didn't eat however the food that came out looked nice.

Our lunch was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Such a lovely restaurant… I would certainly it recommend to anyone. We have enjoyed many meals here and they have all been first class.

We always have a great experience at Casters. From the friendly helpful staff to the delicious food.

It’s nice venue but menu doesn’t change very often. Disappointed to not be serving breakfast in weekdays anymore and doesn’t cater massively for children. Sharing board was like a 60’s buffet arrangement and tapas night was leftover roast potatoes for patatas bravas that weren’t even warm. Service is ok but not the same since Lewis left. All in all it’s a lovely venue and idea but could be done better and menu changed more frequently. Eaten here several times, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Service staff were polite and friendly, the restaurant itself is very clean and has a nice atmosphere but unfortunately it is let down by some of the food, particularly the Sunday roast.

Lovely food in a nice setting. The set menu is great value for money and there are vegan options for my friend which was a win. The calamari and sea bass were beautiful cooked and presented and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size

Food was nice. Portions were small. Asked for oat milk - didn't have any. I thought everyone had an alternative to cows milk now. Not a bad experience,but wouldn't choose to go back.

Had a large party here, staff were so helpful getting it sorted with no stress, food was great and everyone was really friendly, would definitely go again for a simple meal or a party.

Had 3 course choice for £23.45 had the soup,mixed meats and cheeseboard. Soup was delicious as was the main meal. Choice of cheese wasn't favourite but was ok needed some cheddar. Staff were very attentive and service was excellent

We were looking forward to eating here after experiencing their new venture - The Vault - it was amazing! However Casters was disappointing... over cooked - burnt.. oversalted - to the degree it tasted of nothing else and not once were we asked if everything was 'ok' ... one waiter was especially LOUD and disinterested... mid range bottle of wine was disappointing and ambience is lacking - we wont be back!

Love the decor, food was really good. Best of all was the attentive friendly service. Really busy for a wet Tuesday in November which created a vibrant atmosphere. Would like to go back in the warmer months and dine in the outdoor seating area. We had the set menu which came with a drink but I'd like to give the tapas menu a try when we return.

First time visiting and absolutely blown away. Everything from the docor, staff, service, food & price was perfect. Totally impressed and looking forward to the next visit.

Took my dad out for a special sunday dinner in the evening, would have been my parents 50th wedding anniversary, but sadly lost my mum the previous year. I use a Walker as was struggling to stand , yet despite booking, was left to stand at the door and then again while our booking was found. Shown to a table in the very back ( a struggle to get to) and then brought coffee, with no milk, so had to watch it go cold while I waited for cold milk. Sunday dinner served, meat was cold, tenderstem broccoli was so undercooked I couldn't cut through it, carrots were like eating brine and cold. Had replacement meal, but the same issues again. My dad ate his because he was hungry, but commented on the same. Very hot and miss with plate contents. Had to ask for water twice. Yes the bill was reduced, but not the point. Far from busy and not many staff in, very poor compared to previous experiences, always had good before which was my reason for going on this special occasion. Not at all impressed. Went elsewhere for desert. Expensive for what we had

I have come to Caster’s twice and the food is always delicious and so yummy. Both times I have been greeted by Matt and he is always so welcoming and kind. Always makes sure everything is perfect with the food and the customers are satisfied. Defiantly a credit to the restaurant and would highly recommend.

The food was good.. drinks were tasty and well made.. the service was OK.

Went for Sunday Lunch and had a lovely time. The food was very good but the waiting time left a bit to be desired. The restaurant was quite full though. We had to wait quite a long time for our mains but we had our granddaughter with us so it didn't seem as long. Casters staff were great with our baby and provided some fruit when asked for her.

We had breakfast on Saturday morning.we had been there a while before staff took our drinks order..we then sat there watching our lattes going cold on the bar before being brought to us..the food was lovely..and my poached egg perfect but service and cold lattes took the niceness off the experience

Food is always great, everything is freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. Hard to beat it in the local area, so well worth a visit.

Booked online for our first time. Were. Nhs covid pinged couple of hours later so cancelled straight away Did the decent thing and called Casters so they could free up table. Checked credit card charged £20. Called Casters was told its standard despite only being a couple of hours. was told to email to request refund. No reply after 3 days. Very poor can see why there are bad reviews as well as good for Casters. Obviously will take our custom elsewhere.

First time at Casters and all I can say is wow!! The food was amazing, we had calamari and scallops for our starters chicken burger and duck/spring onion sushi for our mains and chocolate brownie for dessert, all delicious. Great choice of drinks and a fab cocktail menu. All of the staff we're amazing and we couldn't fault the service. At the end of the night we asked for a taxi to be called and it didn't turn up..so Matt the Restaurant Manager went above and beyond and gave us a lift home! Now that is what you call world class customer service! Thank you Matt and and all of the Staff at Casters we'll definitely be back 😀

Service was excellent-lovely staff ! However food was just ok and quite pricey for what we had! Fish and chips £16 - chips overcooked- didn't want the peas but no alternative offered! Would want to go back for the ambiance and good service but not for the food!
