Excellent food, very good service, friendly, knowledgeable. Very popular. Helpful staff. 10oz fillet X 3 (@£14.95) - ordered med. rare - all perfectly cooked. Sides, at this price, are an additional cost, but it is 100%worth it. £3.20 per side - we ordered chunky chips & sweet potato chips. + We ordered a cauliflower cheese - 'Side of the day' . Pepper sauce - tasty, creamy, peppery, not whole peppercorns that can be problematic- £1.95. vfm. Short/normal wait times despite being cooked to order. All very reasonable portions. Suitable for a starter as well.- reasonable starters .. excellent quality,portion & service. Don't mistake the 4 stars for any form of criticism. It is simply busy. Not noisy ,not dirty. Just busy. Despite this staff were happy, quick in serving,but not rushing.impressive. It IS CASH ONLY though. (Cash can be readily & easily obtained from the Post office , 50 metres up the road, if you're a 'Monarch of the realm' & don't carry cash !) Our visit was on a Tuesday -1800. Recommended.

Gorgeous old pub in a village location with friendly staff. Food is amazing and served beautifully but could have had a more vegetarian options. The puddings are a bit on the expensive side but delicious. The pub is set in lovely gardens too. Well worth a visit.

We loved the food and the kindness of the staff. This restaurant is perfect for kids and parents. The kids were given activities and candies, they drank for free because of easter event. We spent a great time. Thank you so much 288 bar & wok !

What can I say about Julio's that hasn't been said so many times before? This restaurant is just outstanding in every aspect. I initially enquired about a family meal to celebrate my Nans 90th birthday and the communication was quick and easy. The table was booked and I asked if we could bring a cake to be brought out at the end of the meal after deserts, and some balloons. This was no problem at all. When we arrived, it was great to see Julio himself who instantly remembered us from previous visits and welcomed us all. You know you're in for a good visit when Julio is hosting and the kind of hospitality he provides, you just don't get in other restaurants. We were all seated and orders taken, promptly followed by their complimentary bread which is all homemade and delicious. The waitress was very kind and courteous and asked about allergies and introllerences which non of us had. There was not a long wait for any of the courses and every single meal was delicious and well presented. The portions are generous, and everything is made fresh to order. Nothing was too much trouble even when making little adjustments to the dishes and every plate was empty - well as empty as it could be with the portions here as if you have dined here, you'll know they dont skimp on any ingredients! Even the prawn cocktails where establishments cut back on expensive produce like this, had sooo many prawns on. Once the deserts had been finished, Julio brought out the birthday cake we provided and he started off everyone singing happy birthday. A nice surprise for my nan who wasn't expecting this. The restaurant was filling up during the time we was there so booking is highly advisable. They also have two other restaurants ( Bellinis in brighouse which i have visted before and can recommend, and Saltaire which i havnt had the chance to get to yet!) Everything about the day was perfect from start to finish and the consistency in service food and ambiance is unmatched. There's a reason we have been visiting Julios for 20 years and we will be visiting for 20 more. Support this local restaurant, you will never be disappointed. Thank you to Julio and his team for making my nans 90th, one to remember.

Birthday lunch with friends. A cold steak sandwich, a surly and rude male waiter to the point I asked for another server. No apology at the restaurant. No compensation when I emailed Miller & Carter. Won’t be going again. It’s a shame as I’ve been a few times and it was good. Thank you Miller & Carter for ruining my Birthday lunch with one member of staff who was rude and inappropriate.

Realy enjoyed my fish and chips. Well worth the value. Can't believe the portions of all the meals served.
