Always a treat to have a breakfast sandwich from here - But that's not all the selections of cold sandwiches for lunch is superb and very reasonably priced. If you can wait they will deliver locally as well :-)

Six of us were spending the weekend down in Poole. After spending a day on the beach we wanted a takeaway This was a 5 min walk from where we were staying. The service was very friendly and they cooked fresh fish for us and it was very nice. Also had sausages and saveloys All in all great food decent portions and good price. Would recommend. They also do burgers and pies and you can eat in for breakfasts as well. Would recommend this is a place to eat

Going to enjoy a meal I cherish, I ended up paying good money for nothing worth it. It is definitely not Suya what they are offering there, if you are a fan of Suya like me. Suya is made with powder of grinded Kuli Kuli (dried groundnut paste after extracting oil of it) plus ginger powder as essential constituents plus other flavor's depending on the chef choices. The so called Suya there had none of these two essentials yet I cannot figure how they call it Suya???? Suya is definitely not made with meat that has bones! Assuming that a low class restaurant might make the lamb Suya with parts that have bones because lamb bone is softer, this definitely never happens with beef meat. Beef meat used for Suya are tender boneless meat for sure. Given the high price for the starter (£8.99), one will never expect bones in such a starter meal, for it means one is paying for a high quality service but is actually receiving a mean return. And the chef assumes that Suya means chili spicy flavor, so he adds hot chili (without the ginger essence!) to make it taste somewhere close to Suya. It is evident he is ignorant that Suya can be and is traditionally not spicy except as the customer requests, i.e., it is not essential to have hot chili to make the dish a Suya dish, but it is definitely not a Suya when it is missing the Kuli Kuli coat/cover/flavor and when it is made with bones. That was simply a dish of roasted meat pieces that you can find in any restaurant that roasts meat and for a far cheaper price compared to quantity. It was anything but the lovely Suya dish!! (cannot say it was not well cooked, but that does not make it a Suya and Suya is a special dish) And what is annoying, it is a STARTER dish in little quantity for £9 a plate!!! I took two friends hoping to introduce them to the lovely Suya dish, telling them of Alhaji Suya in London and optimistic to get them amazed by the experience, I ended up paying £27 for roasted meat not even a half kilo if I summed the three plates. I would have been more lenient if after all, for that £27 they enjoyed the taste of Suya even if in little quantity. Indeed it was what made pay such a sum even though I realized it was a starter dish. I neither got a satisfying meal for £27, nor at least introduced my friends to the taste of Suya. As a Londoner visiting Birmingham, it is a shame that a restaurant will claim they are selling a meal and sell something else while they charge a high price that should be charged by a prestigious restaurant. Indeed it is just a show and I doubt their other dishes will be genuine African cuisines. My break in Birmingham is spoiled because of their fake advert claiming they offer Suya..

Firstly we waited for the menu for over 30 minutes till we go to the counter to asked for menu. After ordering we asked for our drinks while we wait for food. It took another 30 minutes for them to give us 2 orange juices. We waited for more than an hour we were fed up. The food came no seasoning at all. Sadza was uncooked aka mbodza could not even it. Horrible and dirty I could taste the soap in the orange juice and the GANGO looked and tasted like last week's. The only thing g tasty was the sausage as they can't cut corners with it and it doesn't need anything added. This was my first time and I have to admit my last. I was excited but left very disappointed. Staff were nice though. WASTE OF MONEY!!!
