This is the worst place to order. The food was tasteless, it was cold half of the things we ordered were missing and they weren’t willing to solve it. I will not be ordering again.

Akara was not fresh, food packaging is very poor, no side with the okra as stated on description.

This place does not open weekends!!! I just came here now and it is saying opened! And this place is closeddd!!! Do not come here on a weekend! Terrible management to not post on google that they are closed!!!!

Based off the food alone, the rating could be at least 4 stars. Food is always top notch. However the food alone is only part of the experience. The cost and customer service can be improved. Suya is pricy for £12 which is almost double of Sami’s which cost £7.5 for exactly the same portions. There’s never everything in the menu. There’s always one thing missing or finished. I wouldn’t mind if it was occasional but it happens every time I’m there. Customer service can be better. It’s lackadaisical and seems as if we’re being done a favor for coming.

The owner and guest were just treating the dining area has their personal dining area and parlour. No professionalism, very laid back. Food was a bit expensive but gave a the star rating because it tasted real good. Will be trying again to see if it was coincidence that day.

There are hardly any food on the menu that are ever available. In addition to this, I was sold food that had gone stale.

Firstly, there are not enough food available. Most of the food on the menu are hardly available. Also, I placed an order for suya and the beef was very stale and had gone completely bad and this was sold to me.

I can't rate the food per say because I never tried it. It said it opens online at 3pm went there at 3.50 and it was closed. Waited for almost 15 mins and called several times but there was no answer. I was honestly disappointed, but we move. Went to somewhere fantastic close by and ate well

The food was really nice and the portions were filling, the waiting time was quite long tho but overall the food was a 10/10. Suya SPICYYYY 😍.My only remark is that, I did feel the restaurant lacks professionalism as when we ordered the prices on the menu were £10 for most of the things we ordered only to be charged higher which i felt didn’t make sense so called back when i got home and was told their prices had changed to £12/£16 and they hadn’t updated their menus. Kindly update ur menus or tell customers before hand that the prices have changed! Also tell customers that takeaways boxes have a fee don’t just give it to us and then charge us for it without telling us.

I came here for dinner as I've never tried Nigerian food before, the atmosfere was rather welcoming, owner was very kind enough to welcome me, guide me and suggest me some options from their menu. I went ahead and ordered one of her recommendations. Personally I thought the food was overall a bit poor, in my humble opinion, the Joloff rice was very bland in flavour, perhaps microwaved, poor seasonig and lack of salt. The goat was in my opinion way too overcooked, very hard to eat and a bit overseasoned with perhaps too much spices or too many mixed flavours. Overall I couldn't help but think this food was cooked in a rush, perhaps microaved, not cooked with enough attention, soulless and with lack of passion and attention to detail, Also since this is a restaurant the toilets should be a bit more presentable.

Just finished eating (Literally)…Ordered by phone for collection. Wow! My new favourite spot! I won’t be ordering from anywhere else. Jollof rice=10/10 Tasty! Suya=10/10 Full of flavour! Portion size is good too! I’ll definitely be ordering again!

First time ordering here I ordered the jollof rice with peppered goat. The jollof rice was fresh seasoned to perfection with the right amount of spice and the peppered goat was cooked perfectly. The customer service was excellent and the food was served in a timely manner would definitely recommend and will definitely return. Thank you for an amazing meal 👌🏽🙌🏽🤤

1st time ordering from here, had egusi soup with mixed meat and red stew,,, oh my!! it was by far the best I've had, right amount of spice and kick, fresh and tasty, will definitely order again 💯

I ordered Egusi and some pounded yam and it was absolutely delicious !! Perfect spice/ flavours … Delivery was kind of pricey but I didn’t have to wait too long for the food either

Not gonna lie the time was abit longer than they said, BUT the food oh my word it was my first time trying this meal and I enjoyed it sooooo much!!! Complements to the chef 😋🤤 tasty 😋

Ordered pounded yam with okra soup and it came so fast i was impressed. The taste was perfecto. Will surely recommend.

The service we had wasn’t too bad but when we tried to order chicken dish or fish we told that the chicken wasn’t available and fish wasn’t at its best. We ended asking what the recommendation would be. When the dishes arrived the meat was very tough and chewy, pepper meat, I was very disappointed as I have had better cooked Nigerian dish cook by friends. My advice to restaurant owners is to remember that you represent your nation serve every dish to perfection and ask your guests for honest feedback without argument that’s the only way you will improve. Be authentic but with a twist. 🙏🏾🇳🇪

I have edited my review this morning in response to the owner. His response shows you how bad their customer service is. Of course i know which restaurant i ordered from. I drove there and parked outside your green venue. The lady is tall and light skinned and has a son who mans the till who is just as rude as his mother. When i mentioned the food and service to some friends they all said they were not surprised because everyone know how bad your service is. The lady is quite rude. Ordered egusi soup for 10pounds and when i got home realised there was 1 meat in tin. Their prices are too high for the portions and their customer service is bad.

Please avoid this restaurant at all cost and don't be hoodwinked by the dishonest people who are giving positive feedback about this 4th class and 0 star restaurant. Those people are either being dishonest, just doing eye service or friends/relatives to the owner. You will be better off fasting than wasting your money in this godforsaken restaurant. Jollof rice, vegetable, soup and oil taste like outdated food that have been left in the freezer for 10 years. No taste, no seasoning, turkey looks like rotten meat killed by a car and picked up by the roadside, no taste. I had to bin the disgusting food and was raining big curses on the owner for the emotional torture I went through. It was so awful that I nearly call Food Safety Agency to visit this restaurant. Customer service is the lowest of the low, no apologies, no courtesy, no.manners for serving your food too late. Very arrogant and useless people. Beware and avoid this restaurant like a plague.

I ordered Efo Riro at this restaurant and it was really delicious. I was impressed. Staff was nice on the phone and pick up was prompt. I will definitely recommend.

The best and top class Efo riro and Egusi stew currently in the UK. Pounded yam so soft, filling and big. Top top taste, well done.

Very poor services. Waited 4 hours and a bit. She was very unapologetic and rude the whole time. For every time we enquired when food was going to be ready we got half an hour as automatic response. Ordered food at 4 and got it at past 8pm. I wouldn’t recommend. I don’t like writing poor reviews as I would rather not comment but this is more extreme and the worst I have ever experienced. Maybe we didn’t look posh enough to warrant simple good customer service. To think we were excited we finally found a Naija restaurant in Birmingham. Would have been easier to have made the food at home with the time it took. Took the pleasure out of the whole experience that was meant to be a treat for our son who was too sleepy to eat when it arrived, 3.5 almost 4 hours later. Food arrived and half of the items were missing, the main dish for the birthday boy never made an appearance, I am wondering about the other reviews here. Seems like a different place, spent the time shouting at my hubby instead of being apologetic for the poor service and calling my family a weird one being impatient getting close to a 4 hour wait. Food wasn’t even all that. Egusi was 1/3rd in the bowl and 2/3rds stew. Should have ordered stew instead. Dodo never arrived, guess it was still being grown, jollof rice no appearance either. Let’s not talk about the fish. Meat pie had a suspicious lump that looked like mould at the back of it and we had to throw away. What a waste of time. Avoid.
