Absolutely ridiculous. The food was over 30mins later and arrived cold!

Food lovely and hot. Have used them a number of times and have never been disappointed.

very bland no heat in the Singapore chow mein. chips well overcooked. satay sauce runny and not very peanutty. we always order from jade house so I don't know what's happened but never again I'm afraid

Probably the worst we’ve had from here. I shan’t order again. Hard recooked chips, flavourless mains, overcooked and dried ribs. Just really poor quality.

Have ordered a few times now. Constant high quality and delicious food with my go-to order being salt & pepper chicken and chips, and curry sauce.

Terribly oily food. Even the soup had floating oil separation. Very unappetising. I had squeezed out 3 chicken balls on a paper towel and 2 filled up full of oil

Ordered at 18:20, ETA was 19:25-19:45. I called at 20:30 and was told new ETA would be 20:45..Actual arrival was 20:50. Not good enough.

Never received food, after nearly two and a half hours. App said it was on the way 1 hour ago and it's only a 10 minute walk away from me. No answer to phone calls, absolute waste of time, will never use Jade House again.

Worst place awoid prdered food for kids no spicy plus hair in food got all recorded phoned them up they put phone down awoid do not use this take away will report to council as soon as possible :(((

Over cooked and cold. Lids had come off the sauces. If I had noticed would have refused the order. Not the first time but will be the last!

I have the same thing every time tonight ordered my usual curry sauce and chicken balls but got chicken balls sweet and sour sauce and chips charged for all I hate sweet and sour sauce

Rang restaurant to complain they said it wouldn’t be long another 12 minutes later cold food delivered.curry sauce was in one big lump .Not at all happy .The app is rubbish

The food was really not good. Both chow mein and the rice had that very strong chemical/plastic taste (I am told apparently its too much GMO). The batter on the prawns was too crispy and difficult to bite into. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

This is hands down the best Chinese takeaway we have had for a long time!! We usually order from one local to us but they are closed tonight - what a lucky find!! Definitely our go to from now on!!

Disappointed. two different dishes but they taste similar and what worst both are very salty. normally i don't mind a little bit salt but those were much over. I didn't finish any of then because of that.

Why are you adding on a service charge as well as a delivery charge? I don't want to tip the restaurant or the delivery driver for my order when I'm paying £20+ already. Almost 2hrs for delivery isn't good either! Why would I tip you for taking 2hrs?

Thought I’d try this Chinese takeaway again after not ordering for a few years cos it was bad, well can safely say it was even worse than last time all the food was stale and cold the chips tasted like they were from last year defo won’t be back

Been using this takeaway for years. Bit disappointed with the food today. Rice was still little under cooked, hard. Chicken curry consitency was thicker than normal. Couldnt mix in with the rice. The chow mein was ok but looked and tasted like it was overcooked/burnt.

I have never had a bad order from this take away. Also, one of the cheapest around. Good food and reliable service. Also, the delivery driver is cheerful and pleasant. Top marks as usual.

Never again. Two hours for a delivery that originally said 30 to 45 minutes. I understand it's an evening but maybe if you have too many orders you stop taking them until you can manage and not expect people to wait so long. No communication at all from them, we called 3 times and was just told the driver has the order. I think even if I lived next door I wouldn't use them. After the scheduled delivery time the app said "food delivered, enjoy your meal" nope, we didn't.

1 of our items was missing from our order which was very quickly rectified when I called the restraunt, however by the time it was brought out we had all pretty much finished eating. (tommorrows lunch it is)

Delivery driver said he was looking for the door for 30 minutes didn’t think to ring and turned up to my door with 4 people, which could be quite intimidating to some and looked kind of dodgy.

Had two takeaways from this place and it’s really lovely, definitely the best I’ve had so far. Singapore Chow Mein is gorgeous. Chicken balls, although smaller, are really nice. Rice is superb. Not much else to say other than we really recommend this place!

This is the first time I order from here and my food contained a fly. I wish I’d checked their hygiene rating before, won’t be ordering from here avain
