This is hands down the best Chinese takeaway we have had for a long time!! We usually order from one local to us but they are closed tonight - what a lucky find!! Definitely our go to from now on!!

Great food and service would use again.

Poor communication re delivery. Food was OK but we will not use this restaurant again.

Disappointed. two different dishes but they taste similar and what worst both are very salty. normally i don't mind a little bit salt but those were much over. I didn't finish any of then because of that.

delivered on time, nice food, but there needed to be at least double the amount of sauce for the lemon chicken.

liked ordering from here, food was absolutely salty and in small tubs and half filled. I'll stick to nearly opened Chineses and Hen Lane Since 2000

the sauce was cold and runny barely any meat in it very poor

We loved the fact that the delivery driver brought our food to us , it’s very rare and we appreciate that very much

Delivery took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive , food was lukewarm and greasy. Such a shame as this chinese usually exceeds my expectations

Why are you adding on a service charge as well as a delivery charge? I don't want to tip the restaurant or the delivery driver for my order when I'm paying £20+ already. Almost 2hrs for delivery isn't good either! Why would I tip you for taking 2hrs?

Food was very salty. Called restaurant and said drivers on their way. 10 mins later a notification to say driver on way and it turned up 15 mins later. 1st time disappointed

Thought I’d try this Chinese takeaway again after not ordering for a few years cos it was bad, well can safely say it was even worse than last time all the food was stale and cold the chips tasted like they were from last year defo won’t be back

Been using this takeaway for years. Bit disappointed with the food today. Rice was still little under cooked, hard. Chicken curry consitency was thicker than normal. Couldnt mix in with the rice. The chow mein was ok but looked and tasted like it was overcooked/burnt.

I have never had a bad order from this take away. Also, one of the cheapest around. Good food and reliable service. Also, the delivery driver is cheerful and pleasant. Top marks as usual.

Never again. Two hours for a delivery that originally said 30 to 45 minutes. I understand it's an evening but maybe if you have too many orders you stop taking them until you can manage and not expect people to wait so long. No communication at all from them, we called 3 times and was just told the driver has the order. I think even if I lived next door I wouldn't use them. After the scheduled delivery time the app said "food delivered, enjoy your meal" nope, we didn't.

1 of our items was missing from our order which was very quickly rectified when I called the restraunt, however by the time it was brought out we had all pretty much finished eating. (tommorrows lunch it is)

Delivery driver said he was looking for the door for 30 minutes didn’t think to ring and turned up to my door with 4 people, which could be quite intimidating to some and looked kind of dodgy.

Hardly any chicken in the chicken fried rice and the chicken chow mein I ordered

There was a man who tried taking our food off the driver, he stood up to him and didn’t let him threaten him into giving him our food! Appreciate him loads, thank you so much!

ordered a chicken and prawn curry no flavour and found not one prawn. Will not order from this establishment again.

Had two takeaways from this place and it’s really lovely, definitely the best I’ve had so far. Singapore Chow Mein is gorgeous. Chicken balls, although smaller, are really nice. Rice is superb. Not much else to say other than we really recommend this place!

Went there for a late night supper and I’m absolutely disappointed. Firstly the service was meh like the lady at the counter gave a weird vibe. The only Chinese cuisine open at the time so had to settle for less. The sweet and sour chicken was extremely sweet n sour like ew brother ew along with it being extremely overcooked, two chews and had to spit it all out. The egg fried rice has a nice flavour but the rice was hard and hardly had any eggs :( but I was so hungry I tried to eat that at least. Vegetable spring rolls were really nice. Definitely will not be eating from here again.

The quick delivery was a pleasant surprise and all of our food was delicious (eight treasure chicken, chicken with pineapple, egg fried rice and chips). It was my first time trying the pineapple dish which I can safely say is now one of my favourites. Great service as ever, high quality food and a wide variety of dishes to share with family/friends.
