More recent review here. When I came to Coventry newly over a year ago, I bought food here and it was extremely terrible, I got food poisoning from the peppersoup and I promised never to patronise again. A year later, I thought things must have changed right? I was completely wrong. I ordered jollof rice and turkey. These guys literally use the cheapest asda or lidl rice to cook jollof rice and still charge £10 on top of it, the food is not tasty, the jollof rice was just colour and rice, Ghanaian jollof is miles better than this colour and rice, the turkey was as cold as a dog's nose. I have had really good food in Coventry but this is the worst food I have ever had in the whole of UK, it's extremely terrible. I should have gone back when I saw the place was empty. To the business owner, this is an honest review from a customer, please try to fix up else you will be out of business soon if you continue this way, use the right type of rice to cook jollof rice, make your food tasty and don't serve cold food.

It's alright, went there for a night out

Awful food, poor quality, old meat! Cheap rice, meat portions that are basically bone. Taste was bland and it was expensive. Missing items, could not get money back from just eat! Won’t order again

Really nice chilled spot to hang out with friends and family

Was here for the first time. I am not sure of the licence type whether a food outlet as well as a night spot. For a very small venue it was fully packed. It is worrying if ever there was a fire or any other emergency whereby the customers and staff had to exit the building.

Went to this lovely restaurant yesterday with the family. The food is lovely and we'll presented. The members of staff were very courteous and polite. It's been awhile we had such an authentic Nigerian meal. I recommend this place.

Really good West African food, had some pounded yam and egusi. Very good flavour and the meat was cooked well, has that back home taste.

First time... Not bad... Fish and plantain were on form but the jellof rice tasted a little burnt and was rather oily. I was dying for some Nigerian food and the taste of jellof rice.... So a little disappointed but overall not bad... If the rice was on point it would be five star... maybe it was just my luck... And I got a portion of the burnt batch 😁 may visit again.

Quaint.. owner was courteous. Had the grilled fish with pepper sauce. Delightful.. will remember to call ahead next time. Takes an hour to prepare. Lol.
