The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving African food

Food was terrible here, lukewarm and tasted awful. I would rather visit the many other outlets in the food court. Save your money as it’s not cheap either

The food is top, top quality! As good as the best restaurants I’ve been to in Istanbul when on holiday. The range of flavours across all the dishes shows real care put into the preparation. It’s a lovely and friendly little place. I’d say it’s my favourite restaurant in Plymouth.

Super authentic Nigerian food, good options and whilst pricey, is worth it!

It never disappoints. Went fir a Mother's Day brunch. Food was great, love the atmosphere. Restaurant is clean, staff are friendly.

Very disappointing indeed! My family love this place. Was planning a visit for a while. Finally found the time to pay a visit, we checked out the website and times of closing. I constantly tried to call the number on the website . (at least 6times) any way we still decided to visit, as it said 6pm on website we started our journey ( 60 mile round trip) Was very excited when we arrived, walked inside, there was a few people at tables, the band practicing, a lady, blonde hair not sure of she was host or waitress ignored us for a few minutes, I went over and asked if we could get some drinks, she said sharply we are closing at 3pm today, was quite shocked and replied, oh website advised 6pm (time now a little after 3pm) she snapped back, NOT TODAY, the manners and attitude threw me a little.(she seemed under pressure and short tempered)I tried to explain, it would ne good for potential customers making a long journey to visit, if you kept the website updated or at least answer the phone. There's a right way & wrong way to speak to people, she was very rude indeed. Has we was leaving, a member of the band asked what was wrong, I told him what had happened. Okay, I get private function was on that day, but even after all that, it's how you treat people, Some times ITS NOT WHAT YOU SAY, ITS HOW YOU SAY IT!!

After ordering we spent 40 minutes waiting for our appetisers and only 1 of 5 occupied tables actually getting food in that time. The waitress came over at the 40 minute point and wanted to confirm the order. At which point I got up and confirmed with the kitchen if they are now starting our order. To which I was told the chicken takes 30 minutes and it would be with us soon, while looking over their shoulder to see our appetisers hitting the grill. I then told them don't bother I want a refund. The pepsi tasted watered down and the place was cold with people keeping their outdoor jackets on. Given a full refund. My opinion from what I've seen here for a copycat Nando's is they are more interested in online takeaway orders that footfall through the door.

Wow! This place really has a nice vibe! I had a guest with me from Northampton and wanted to take him to African vibe place so was my first time here and had such a great experience! On arrival the bar staff are very friendly organised us drinks fast, The business owner he came to welcome us and made us feel we were in the right place to party which we did all night till the place closed they have a nice selection of drinks, very clean place, the DJ played a nice music too. Thanks Mr Alino keep it up 5 STARS!! Will be back soon :)

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the service I received today at your establishment. At approximately 13:45, I visited your cafe with the intention of purchasing a bag of coffee using a QR code from the app, which entitled me to a complimentary purchase. However, upon presenting the QR code to the employee, a woman with curly hair and glasses, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude. She looked me up and down as if I had said something outrageous and pointed me towards the coffee bags without any assistance. Furthermore, when I inquired about the available blends of coffee, her response was curt and unhelpful, merely instructing me to "just look." Additionally, when I attempted to explain that the QR code had an expiry date of today, April 24th, 2024, she rudely dismissed my explanation and insisted that it was expired without further consideration. The dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by your employee left me feeling spoken down upon and insulted. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit today. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I believe it is essential to address and rectify instances of poor customer service promptly. I sincerely hope that you will take this complaint seriously and address the behaviour of your employee to ensure that other customers do not have to endure similar experiences in the future.

Es un poco una tradición ahora que cada vez que voy a Londres tomo una envoltura de falafel de esta pequeña joya. Muy sabroso, muy amable y rápido, así que simplemente perfecto. La ensalada es fresca y las salsas sabrosas, me fui a fuego medio cuando estaba a punto de abordar un tren durante 3 + horas. Mientras estaba sentado en una mesa había otros 3 clientes, así que realmente ocupado para un pequeño, que es una gran señal.

Ate here before attending Madonna concert, food was good, portions size was good, a little over-priced we thought, especially the beer, and wine, but it is London after all, waiter ( Alex ) was brilliant, friendly, efficient, and always smiling, we would eat here again when we attend our next event at the 02...

Love this restaurant, amazing food, wine and service. You come for the steak but the bread is the best ever as is the salad. Hugely enjoyed our lunch and would definitely recommend. Can't wait to come back.

We had the worst experience today this Nando’s Windsor, after they accommodate us and placed our orders they turned out to tell us no chicken breast and no mediterranean salad. Why you didn’t mention on the entrance what’s missing from your menu? MO staff manager is unprofessional and needs customer service training. Would I come back here? Not sure Overall bad experience

Great Sunday lunch here - mid April. Pub has a cosy feel, great pub food nice drinks and staff. A family fave!
