Anatolia is an absolute treasure for anyone who appreciates authentic Turkish cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food is nothing short of brilliant—every dish is packed with rich, traditional flavors and cooked to perfection. From the tender lamb shish to the fragrant rice pilaf, the mezze selection to the melt-in-your-mouth baklava, each bite feels like a trip to Turkey. The freshness of the ingredients and the balance of spices truly showcase the culinary mastery behind the scenes. What really sets Anatolia apart, though, is the service. Every member of the staff is attentive, friendly, and passionate about what they do. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring your meal is flawless from start to finish. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Turkish food or trying it for the first time, Anatolia delivers a dining experience that’s both memorable and heartwarming. An absolute must-visit—you’ll be planning your return before the night is over.

Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..

I’d heard a lot about this place, so I decided to check it out on Bank Holiday Monday. Service was quick, and I could see 2–3 doner kebabs already rotating in front of the flames, which definitely built up the anticipation — I was especially eager to try their red doner. I ordered the mixed meat platter and the red doner mix. The food arrived quickly, and I’ve got to say, the quality of the meat was excellent — well-cooked, tender, and full of flavour. The kebab meat was decent too, though not quite as standout as I was expecting. The biggest let-down for me was the sauce. For any kebab, the sauce is a dealbreaker — it ties everything together. Unfortunately, the sauces here didn’t hit the mark. In most Asian-style kebab spots, you expect either a great chilli sauce and mint sauce to elevate the meat, but both were lacking here. It was disappointing because with the right sauces, this place could’ve been on another level. Overall, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. I’ve had much better kebabs around Oldham, but I would definitely recommend their meat platter
