Kuzzu Turkish Bar & Grill in Aylesbury Vale

The food was disgusting and not cook have blood on my lamb chops , stuff with out uniform and they not friendly at tall , I will never come here and spend 10£ for 4 nuggets and couple off chips

Went for a bottomless brunch at Kuzzu on 8th March. Ot has now become our favourite bottomless in Aylesbury! The food was amazing, amazing steak, beautifully cooked others in the group had chicken kebaband vegetarian option. All very happy. The bottomless drink were served promply, never left waiting for a drink like in other places and no restriction on changing choices like in other places we have been. Lonnie was amazing, so friendly and very helpful with menu choices. So much food we had to get a take out box so as not to waste any! Cannot fault it and will be back. Thanks again Lonnie, will see u again soon 😋

This was my first time at Kuzzo - fabulous, reasonably priced meal. The service was the best I've experience anywhere in quite some time. What a great place to enjoy a delicious meal! Thank you, Kuzzo.

When we entered I asked how long we would need to wait for food and was told 35 minutes. The waitress was correct in her estimate. He were given some complimentary Turkish bread and dips while we waited for are food. The food was very good, massive portions. We doggy bagged the rice. The service was first class. Have been a few times before and always had a great meal, this was no exception. Will definitely go again.

A bit pricey and food arrived slowly, but tasty and atmosphere was nice. Nice evening out 👍

Whilst the food was good, the Service was awful! We weren't offered any additional drinks, checked on, offered any dessert menus. It was also freezing! It will be a while until I return.

We visited before a theatre trip and they were so kind to accommodate that we had limited time. Such generous plates of food. All delicious. Bread and hummus when we sat down. Incredible service, yummy food.

Cannot fault the food - brilliant menu great choices, fresh delicious food, good portions. Arrived last night and despite having a booking we had no table, however this was sorted quite quickly. Started off well ordered quickly however drinks took an age and came one at a time, then while we were enjoying our starters, our mains were chucked on the table too. Felt very rushed. It was a shame as we hadn’t been out for ages and was a special occasion.

Just had to write a review as we had a fantastic dining experience at Kuzzu. Not only was the food delicious but beautifully presented in a relaxing atmosphere with great service. We will definitely be returning.

Went here tonight for my Daughter and Niece birthday's. We had a party of 13. The atmosphere was excellent. Turkish food choices were brilliant. All our meals were excellent, I recommend the mixed Shawarma, very fresh and tasty. The service was second to none, the 2 servers were very helpful and efficient. Finished my meal off with Baklava and Turkish coffee. We definitely recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant. Just like being back in Turkey.

Good selection of drinks. Staff brought out the 2 birthday girls desserts with a candle and sparkler with happy birthday written on the plate which was a lovely gesutre and a shot for the table. A little extra treat came for the birthday meals on the bill. Staff friendly, kind and prompt. Service charge added but we gave an extra tip. A lovely meal was had by all totally recommend.

We hold our monthly Business Buzz Networking event here and they're so helpful! Really friendly staff and such a gorgeous place to go. Stayed for lunch today too - amazing!

Fantastic food, the flavours last on for a good time after eating

Always a good staple to feed my kids, and they’re always super nice! Great food! Hummus and tzatziki is A** and the mixed grill is always on point.

Sad to say that I will not be going back to Kuzzu. A once much loved & enjoyed experience has been completely tainted and ruined by a rude unapologetic manager/owner. Attended an evening meal for a birthday occasion where we were sat upstairs, unfortunately the room was very cold, close to '0' conditions and most of the guests had to sit there in coats to socialise. When asked if he couldn't sort the heating out (prior to eating our food) then we would need to be moved downstairs, was told that wouldn't be happening we have no room for you. The booking had been made for over a week because of the size of party and the weather hadn't changed all week. A courtesy phone was made to ensure the booking was still going ahead, at this point it should of been highlighted that the room was very cold and couldn't do much to change it. Food took nearly an hour to come out, which fairs fair to say this is understandable because of how many people that were being served, but to then have this used against us at the end of the night was not acceptable! The duration of our evening was 2.5hrs and when you take into consideration the time for food to be ordered, cooked etc that's not a lengthy experience. At the point of bill a family member asked if something was going to be done about in regards to some sort of compensation for the bill and a kert response of what do you want me to do about it was his attitude, unhappy of his attitude the birthday girl spoke with the manager, highlighting that his attitude was uncalled for and when trying to explain of how cold the room was, answered what do you expect me to do? Get another heater?. Service charge I have to add was removed but that's as far as it went. Please note this was note the staff's fault they appeased what they could. The food was ok hot when it arrived but quickly went cold due to the poor conditions. I do not ordinarily write reviews but angered by the owners attitude, it needs to be highlighted. Don't sit upstairs! Don't criticise or make complains! Don't have large party of guests and you will be fine. Enjoy :)

Had a table for 14 for my friend's birthday upstairs. Absolutely freezing all night, 1 tiny electric heater after a week of minus temperatures (no central heating). Manager didn't offer to make room for us on a table downstairs where there was warmth, hadn't pre-warned us how cold it would be and his attitude was shocking. Had 4 children with us who were freezing. Zero customer service or compensation.

A place worth recommending. Priced at £20-30 per person. Nice atmosphere and very nice service. I will definitely go back there.

Very good, and perhaps the future of 'community' dining out. It was cold outside, we had 3 hours to kill, we wanted to eat well and just hang out in a warm place for as long as possible. The welcome was good and we spent some time deciding where the warmest place was going to be. There was no rush to order. Once we ordered, while we waited for food, some snacks arrived with the drinks. Two other families were hanging out as well, with no rush to eat or leave. The food took a reassuringly long time to arrive. It was plentiful and tasty. The mixed grill came with a lot of salad, good; and the rice was very tasty. Staff checked in on us occasionally. There was no rush to pay. Service charge already included in the bill so no need to think about the extent of any tipping. Toilets were great. And staff bade us farewell at the door. We were there the best part of 3 hours and suspect the two other families had been there about the same or longer. I liked the fact that you didn't feel that you were in, order, eat, and out within 45 minutes, and we felt 'connected' to the other diners who were going at a slow pace as well. This was a Sunday evening 7-10. All good. Price very fair. We eat out rarely, and tend not to be that impressed when we do!, but this place was good. Parking free right outside in the town square on Sundays, if you can find a space, might need to circle round a few times.

Service shocking. Arrived at 7:30pm. Still no food by 10pm. Went across the road and got a kebab within 3 minutes.

The food was beautiful and very filling. The service was excellent, complements to the chef we shall return.

Just wanted a cheapish lunch as we were eating out the next day. Prices didn’t look overly cheap, so hubby wasn’t sure. But we always enjoy Turkish food. I asked the waitress about the portion sized and she said they were big. She suggested the mixed grill. It worked perfectly. Didn’t quite manage to eat it all. Then we shared a Kunafa - lovely. We got dip and bread to start with. Complimentary. We tried Turkish tea at the end - complimentary. They also brought a glass of strawberry smoothie- with Irish cream. I wasn’t sure about the sound of that. But it was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant lunch.

After being badly let down by another restaurant in the town, I called Kuzzu and asked that if we headed over straight away, there would be a table available for my boyfriend and I to which they confirmed. The second we arrived, the hospitality was amazing and we were met with such kindness which after being treated like scum by the restaurant we’d had booked originally, was a breath of fresh air! The food, the atmosphere and the dancing lady were all amazing and we couldn’t have been happier! HIGHLY recommend for a lovely meal!

Delivery was slightly late, the food was COLD didn’t really enjoy it much, cold bread was chewy. Fries and the “chicken shish” didn’t get delivered so I called the restaurant so they can get it delivered. On the description of the platter its states, it comes with a chicken shish and a lamb shish (DECEIVING)! The guy said oh no it’s not separate individual shishs but chicken and lamb meat mix in one shish.. well it says separate individuals shishs? Again (DECEIVING)… the cheek of him to suggests to place another order through Uber to get my fries.. what? rinse more money?!! not to forget delivery, marketing and service fees!! I goes sorry I’m not going to spend more money to get fries can you get the delivery driver to delivery it when he can, then with a LAME EXCUSE he comes up with, oh sorry our delivery drivers won’t be free anytime soon so you can place another order LOL ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Food delicious. Atmosphere great. Service was good but, little things let them down. They forgot to bring plates and cutlery and then turned up with too much. They forgot an item we ordered. All that being said, these were very, very minor issues and I will certainly return.

Had a lovely evening here, such a relaxed atmosphere and staff not rushing you or harassing you to hurry up. Such a brilliant place to meet up with friends. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! Big portions and so tasty! I’ve often ordered food to collect as well! Would 100% recommend this place. A lovely gem in Aylesbury!

An amazing restaurant that we stumbled on by chance. The service from our waitress Nisha was excellent and as for the food, probably the best Turkish meal that we have ever had! Great value too.

The food was amazing, it quite took a while but it was definitely worth it.The meat was tender and soft. Service was also a 10 because the worker was trying her best. This is tip worthy.

Nice place with friendly and pleasant service. Food was good and well presented. We were a group however our dishes arrived over a span of 10 minutes rather than all at the same time. Nonetheless would still recommend.

Nice food. You get a lot for your money. Only had collected takeaways but staff and chefs were always nice. Always gave us a couple of cans for free too.

I've been here twice and both times have been amazing. The food is top tier and the service is great. There was some lack of knowledge from our server in regards to allergens, however substitutions were made without issue. All in all we will definitely be visiting again. Note the complimentary bread and hummus is unbelievable 🤤.

We booked Kuzzu Turkish Bar & Grill for my 40th birthday. We had invited 20+ guests for lunch. They have a room upstairs which was perfect for the occasion with its own bar and seating area. The management were very experienced in hosting large groups and helped me decide menu options based on our budget. On the day the service was exceptional. The staff were very helpful and looked after our guests very well. The food was phenomenal. All of us enjoyed the cuisine. The Cold & Hot Mezze were perfect starters along with some freshly baked Turkish bread. We had some mega Kuzzu platters which had generous amounts of lamb and chicken along with plenty of sides. Every dish was very tasty but the lamb chops and chicken wings were the favourites. The vegetarians didn’t miss out as they had some really good options. The aubergine dish was exceptional! A big thank you to Sally, Alona and the team of chefs and staff who looked after us well and made it a truly memorable occasion for me. Thank you for going above and beyond! All my guest were well fed and had a wonderful time thanks to your hospitality. I would highly recommend this restaurant for the exceptional food and service. The upstairs room is perfect for celebrating parties and special occasions.

Highly recommend and good idea to book as this place is popular . I had the aubergine special which was delicious. The service was good and the pinot blush wine was particularly nice 👌

Really great place. Food is brilliant albeit pricey. The service was pretty poor when I went. 20 mins after ordering, I was informed that they didn't have any, so I asked for a coke instead. 20 mins after ordering the coke I had to remind the waiter and he turned up 10 mins later with a warm coke and a glass of ice. The worst part of all. They include a.*discretionary* service charge in the bill automatically. Relying on your customers to feel to awkward to saying 'No' to your arbitrary request for more money is shameful.
