Order was wrong. Ordered 2 pieces of rock, got 1 and 1 piece of cod that was all batter. Really disappointed as the food is normally too notch 🙁

Still not delivered yet said its been delivered but still waiting Delivery time said 19.40 to 20.00 Time now 20.20 and nothing

£2.50 for cheese is a bit much

as always very nice they got the order wrong but it was no problem as it worked but cheaper and less fattening. I enjoyed my cod bite and chips and that's all that matters. Will return

Veggie kebab with chilli sauce is amazing, please add option to add meat when ordering. Even nuggets, overall very happy. Try the veggie kebab with chill sauce!! 10 out of 10

Fantastic food always! Fresh fish and lots of lovely crispy chips. They seem to have regular drivers via just eat who are always lovely and friendly. I don't go anywhere else as never had a bad meal and food always delivered quickly. Keep up the great service!

Ordered food 1hr 45 in advance. Food then arrives 45mins late. And my order was wrong. No apology. No discount. No freebies. Poor customer service.

Food awful. Ordered chicken kebab, chicken cold, salad soggy. Went in the bin.. Husband ordered lamb kebab, just as bad with shredded kebab meat, and soggy salad. Couldn’t be picked up. Ordered cheesy chips £5.50… hardly any cheese again not good .

Lovely as always best chippy in Aylesbury only bad thing is sauces on kebabs as taste really cheap & salad as no pickle chilli’s or red cabbage but kebab meat lovely we just make our own salad & sauces no problems

I’m giving you 5 stars because I know your food is fantastic whenever I come in and pick up myself but today my chips were stone cold. Are just eat making multiple drops. Or can you foil wrap chip boxes. A bit of a shame but not a complaint.

The fish cod was over cooked, fries undercooked and curry sauce which was expensive and really average. Disappointed.

Food arrived within 10 mins even though it was due within 45 mins (in this case that was a good thing). Quality of the food completely met expectation (chips didn't even become soggy from the steam because they arrived so quickly). First time ordering online from here and was impressed.

1 x Haddock was a small long thin piece not usual quality. Chips were poor as well!

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Very nice with the fish batter crispy as apposed to soggy. I have only eaten from here once, with my manager buying his workers lunch. I would like to have another meal to confirm consistency.

Pre-ordered for a set time in the future and arrived bang on time. Usually go for fish and chips but fancied a change and had the chilli salt chicken wings and their own spicy mayo - absolutely delicious! Will definitely have again and for the price vs meat on the wings very good value (some other takeaways are tiny wings with not much meat for the same cost). Definitely recommend. Delivery man was very lovely too.

Order came without a chicken pie, the restaurant sent a note with the order to say there were none available and they had included x2 pies for the trouble. Order arrived without additional pies. Chips were not great/fresh. Hi-tide is our go-to for chips but didn’t enjoy this evening and then not having a pie at all, very disappointing

Ordered doner kebab and chips, very generous portion and quite tasty. I also ordered curry sauce but wasn't a fan of it at all, it was incredibly sweet.

We haven't ordered from here for a while because of opening times but we got lucky on a Thursday and it was open! We ordered at 7.07pm and our food showed up at 7.22pm!! Piping hot and absolutely delicious! So much on the menu to choose from and the curry sauce is *chefs kiss*

As soon as I started queuing outside I was hit by the smell of cheap rancid vegetable oil. It made the chips taste inferior like oven chips, while the battered sausage had soggy batter as the stuff doesn’t crisp your food up properly. Learn from the proper fish and chip shops in the North please and fry your food the traditional way in beef dripping. Fish and chips cooked in rubbish industrial oil is like watery, tasteless semi-skimmed ‘milk’ on your cereal - a real let down!

Our local chippy which is always a great option. Staff are friendly and service is usually fast. I tried the battered chips with their spicy seasoning on my last visit which are different! I enjoyed them so they're worth a try, but get them alongside normal chips otherwise you may not get your chip fix, and they're quite heavy on their own!

Fish and chips were excellent, the chicken was very tasty but the curry sauce was very sweet, but all in all a great meal.

Bit late but the driver got caught in a traffic accident food still hot and very tasty when it arrived the guy who delivered was apologetic the food got through well done!

The chips were old and burnt or reheated. The Plaice was partially undercooked and in too much batter which was was overdone. Not the usual standard quality as previously. Very disappointing. Also food arrived luke warm.

I’m originally from North Yorkshire and hi tide fish and chips are as gud as up north if I ever get homesick I always visit here and the bag of scraps are the best

Every takeaway I have got has been absolutely lovely, had the rock this week and it was amazing, next Friday I think I will have the cod and rock. The curry sauce is banging as well.

The food arrived cold, The chips were over cooked and look like they were just scrapped out the bottom of the pan, some still had peel on them. I have eaten food from this place on loads of occasions and never had a bad meal. I would like to get a refund for this order please.

I asked for asap, they said 7:10, it came 6:35. not an issue as I was available. very tasty, large portion sizes, great for leftovers as well. polite and cheerful on delivery

Only recently been coming here and they have not disappointed once. Chips are cooked spot on for my liking and the portions are excellent. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend them

Came here last night 2.11 2023, with my father, we ordered, pie and chips, and sausage batter and chips, served by 2 amazing young ladies who was full of smiles and happiness, service was really amazing, food was outstandingly great, great staff, great food, will definitely be making this my first choice of fish shops from now on, keep up the great work ladies.

Chips were overcooked dry, hard & inedible Chicken overfried,, very dry. It was like a luchtime leftover portion cooked again. Will not be returning.

My taste buds are still tingling. Enjoyed the freshest, hottest, and tastiest Battered Sausage and Chips I have ever eaten. The delightful crunch of the golden batter combined with the crisp and fluffy chips, every bite was simply amazing! Honestly the best chippy ever! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Unfortunately, on this occasion - the batter on the fish was too much - could have done with less batter - more fish. That said, I will order again from Hi-Tide Fish & Chip Shop and I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Such a shame to leave a bad review as every other time it's been really nice but feel it's needed. Chicken burger was overdone and dry, kebab tasted funny either the cheese or meat was off, foot long sausage was overdone and battered sausage was overly greasy. Such a disappointment.
