CANNOT and WILL NEVER recommend them to ANYONE ever again! And I'll make sure to tell EVERYONE I know to never use them again too! Have been using them for over 30 years, as I like to be loyal, and have never been anything but polite and respectful to them. Wife ordered food one night only to be charged twice due to a system error. Went to the shop and told the boss, only to be told by him and his son either my wife is a liar or basically stupid and its her fault. Popped in there tonight to get her some chips only to be told we are not welcome in there anymore. GOOD! Stick your overpriced, bang average food where the sun doesn't shine guys! It's not like we are short of kebab shops in this town! P.S. sorry to the other 2 guys in there. You are decent blokes and I wish you the best.

Terrible, ordered some kebab, and the next day, I got sick with a fever, and my throat was hurting. I know for a fact it was from the kebab because i work from home, and there is no way i got sick from anything else. They are probably sneezing on the salads and don't wash their hands. My weekend is ruined. Thanks! + the meat was extremely salty and terrible salad

Fabulous kebabs, bit pricey but do not disappoint

It depends from a day and time you go there. If you go on busy period, longer queue but fresh and nice food. If its quiet they prepare meeat and chips in advance and keeping them warm.. so taste is not as should be.. And in nowadays they became greedy on prices and portions are smaller as well...

Great food, But has got far to EXPENSIVE, I will NOT be buying anything else from this takeaway. Used to be very reasonable prices. You have to spend £15 to get delivery.

I’ve been using sultans for a good 15+ years and always loved the food and guys in there. We was so happy when they started doing delivery especially as we live in a village but unfortunately they’ve allowed the “son” to deal with the customers after receiving a freezing cold Kebab which cost us £50 and none of the sauces we requested was received we called to question this to be told what can we do, it’s tough, my husband decided to go to the shop and was offered outside by the “son”’who also told my husband he was a tramp and clearly wasn’t brought up by parents. Absolutely vile human being! I loved this restaurant for years and have always supported it however allowing this cretin to be part of their business will be their demise unfortunately

Tried sultans out as my usual kebab shop was closed for summer holidays, wish I hasn’t bothered… Dispute pre ordering my food I was waiting for over 30 minutes. Staff are rude. Portion are small, they charge a fortune extra for a pot of sauce and the food was nothing special what so ever. In future I will stick to Kettering kebab house.

Been feeling ill and a little worn down. The wife says 'go on lad, get a kebab in you' usually go to Boston Diners (wish I did) but saw Sultans now doing delivery. Paid online and asked for salad and sauce separate. What turned up was a pile of mush wrapped in a bag. Literally swimming in garlic yoghurt. In the bin it went, what a waste of £15. Good news is I'll never go back.

Hadn't had a chicken kebab for a long, long time.Decided to treat ourselves and revisited. Lovely friendly service from genuine smiley people. Lovely and clean inside! Ordered our food, and although they were busy with orders, it didn't take too long for our order to be ready! Took it home, and it was absolutely delicious.

Cooked fresh, great portion sizes, with friendly staff. It is usually busy as everything is cooked to order. The only place in town for a kebab!!!! they make everything including the Doner on the premises. THEY DO DELIVERY!! Love you guys, absolutely fantastic, so humble and we'll mannered. My family are super happy.

Always got kebab from here but today they came cold and soggy. We rang to complain and they just accused us of lying and refused to help in anyway so we ended up taking it back to the shop ourselves and they said they couldn’t refund us because ‘well what are we going to do with it’ the worst customer service

thought i would give them a go and had a donor kebab , got home and could not get bread off wrapping paper , soggy and not worth having , not the best tasting either , plenty of other takaways much better

Extremely nice service good food for night voyages

Disappointed again this evening for the second time I have ordered it last time I told him to put the meat on the grill so will be well done still was cut too thick it was like rubber this evening meat was undercooked chips were undercooked for the price it is ridiculous I will not waste my money for the third time I did ask him to leave it longer to cook it well done and to cut it then I thought he might listen this time I will not make the same mistake again

Ordered a lamb kebab with all salad and a meat and chips with cheese and mayo. Both came stone cold so cold the cheese even arrived stiff none of it could melt. Store opened at 4.30pm I made the order ar 4.32pm it arrived at 5.01pm. They refused to give a refund or even bring hot or at least warm food to replace this god awful meal. Apparently it was freshly made and sent straight out for delivery. Question is tho...is this yesterday's meat as even my dog has refused to eat it 🤔

I have lived in Kettering for over 25 years and have for most of those years used Sultans. There food is Always out of this world. There salad is always fresh and never wilted. There lamb donner meat is so nice, NEVER under cooked or full of grease. Its top quality meat in it, never had any bone or grisly bits in it. There chips are cooked to perfection... There chicken shish is so tasty too.... If you want a first class kabab go to Sultans Kababs, they might not be the cheapest in town but they are the best.... You get what you pay for, a quality meal.

Have used this place for over 25 years but never again. Ordered a doner kebab and a portion of chips. I noticed when I went in that there wasn’t much meat on the spindle. Looked at my kebab and there was barely any meat. It was covered with salad and a few chips on the top. I already had a separate order of chips so didn’t need that but I think they added them to make it look like there was more food than there was. Said to the member of staff who then moved the salad to one side off of the pitta bread. I said that is not a medium kebab, they then said when you come back next time we will make it up to you. Told them that there will not be a next time and left. We all know that the country is headed for the biggest recession we’ve ever seen. I’m sure with a customer service like that and giving you a lot less than before and charging more, I very much doubt they will make it. There’s plenty more kebab shops that have opened up in Kettering so won’t be missed!

Had a large Donner kebab, and I was really impressed. The meat was really well cooked, not remotely greasy and the salad was fresh. Staff in store were friendly, and the wait wasn't long. I'm definitely going to return.

Do not order anything from here for home delivery, like amazon they just leave a delivery without ringing the door bell, they may of knocked but I did not hear them, if they had rung the door bell my dog would have heard it, they then say they called me numerous times...rubbish they did not call me, no missed calls, then they say they want film footage to show the delivery person not ringing the bell, really, then I'm told to be a man, really, they are off their heads, I have been dealing with these people since when Jessy owned it. This is laughable, your delivery driver rang me and admitted he did not ring the door bell!!!, he then put the phone down on me after saying he did not see it!! he said he knocked on the door and the window, but did not ring the door bell, he said I have a weird way of living, being at the back of the house in the conservatory!, and I should put a note on the door to say ring the door bell, are you for real!! Oh I forgot I was told I need to be a man told by the ''big man!'', I have not had any problems before, even '' the big man from Sultan has delivered to me I think twice with no problems, the idiot who said I should be a man, really, if the delivery driver couldn't see a door bell as it was dark/night time, (but the security light keeps coming on), how could he read a note and why should I put one up , would he have seen the note as it was too dark!!, but you said I needed film footage I think this was from his son, the big mans son, Really, because he did not press a big black button on a white door frame (his admitted it!!) he could not see a big black button! If he cannot see door button/bell you have a problem, and from this experience, its not the only time.......Be a man! Oh you haven't collected your delivery left on my door step like Amazon, I'll drop it off to the big man tomorrow, oh sorry Be a man!! Over the years I have found it best to only order on a Friday or Saturday any other day it was hit or miss, the food was tasteless no flavour NO REFUND ......TERRIBLE SERVICE

Having used these since Jessy the original owner back in the 80's ( he was related), I found it best and to let everybody know, to order a kebab on a Friday or Saturday as they seem to use proper lamb meat, Monday to Thursday it tasted like nothing, may be skin I do not know, recently they look like they are employing Amazon drivers, they think not to use a door bell sitting in front of them without any instructions to ring and knock on the door only without any consideration, why the owner has a door bell that was un-missable, on top of that when you complain saying I did not hear the door bell as my dog would go absolutely nuts if they had rung, they ignore you and still charge you.....do not use these for a delivery unless you are near your front door, they will pass on your personal number that you rang on to their driver, who says they rang a number that hadn't been used for 3 years...they are useless!!! They put the phone down when you ring up to complain, SHAMEFULL when I have given them 30 years as a customer!!

I have been using these guys since the 90's and the quality has not changed since then. Even though I have rarely visited in the last 10 years they still remember me and give a warm welcome when I do. Their kebabs, chips and salad are just the best, and I lived in Turkey for 10 years so I know how kebabs should be!

The best kebab shop in Kettering by far. Fresh filling and dare I say more healthy than some takeaways. From the donna shish and kofta there fresh and full of flavour. Fair prices and well run, this takeaway has been there for so long. There standards have never slipped. Will never by a kebab from any other place, and have driven past many of others just to get my favourite food.

On website the place boasts "Best in Town" and they are not wrong. Do not waste your time on any other kebab house in Town as you honestly won't get better. It's been the best for me since the 90s and still not had a bad experience. Great job guys.

Worst kebab house in the world.

Sultans You’re an absolute joke! Ordered a meal at 7.09 pm rang at 8.20 pm to see where our meal was I was told it’s on its way! 8.53 still no meal so I called again, they said they would call me back once they have spoken to the driver. No return phone call! 9.10pm I called them again to hear they had delivered to a neighbour. The manager was too busy to talk to me, I was offered a full refund or another meal still at full cost. Finally at 9.30 pm the driver delivered another meal and told us our £20 order was being deducted from his wages because he delivered it to the wrong address! It’s a shame sultans as a company could not of taken full responsibility for the error. Instead the driver had to lose this amount from his wages, delivery drivers work hard for very little wage and to deduct such errors is very harsh. So the driver wasn’t completely out of pocket we contributed towards his loss, it’s a shame the company didn’t have the same attitude towards us as a customer waiting over 2 hours for a meal which wasn’t delivered to us. It’s safe to say we will never use you again. A very expensive kebab and very poor customer service.

I'm now well into my 43rd year on this planet and I have been visiting this establishment for almost 30 years, back in the day they had tables and arcade machines and my mates and I even had a birthday meal here. The guys that run the place are the guys that have always (to my memory) done so. The food is always amazing. I've never been a Doner fan, but the lamb and chicken kebabs are superb and just the ticket after a few beverages with the fellas. Crisp salad and hot chips as well, just the ticket. I've always enjoyed every mouthful. I only indulge rarely, but when I want a kebab there is only one place in Kettering for me and that is Sultan's.

I have used this Kebab house on and off for years. Recently due to working late it had started to come a regular stop on the way home until last week. A little riddle for you. If you add kebab £6, Chips £2.20, tin of pop £1. You might make it £9.20, well I did..... Wrong......£10.50 is the answer. Why, well I didn't want the cold salad on the warm meat as I was going to eat it when home. Hmmm sensible perhaps. I asked for the salad to be put separate, which they did, but as it is treated as a side dish, the salad that was for the kebab was charged for AGAIN as a side order. I was told this was to cover the cost of one sheet of paper and a small polystyrene container. £1.30 for that well that is a load of balls. This I think is a complete and utter RIP OFF. With so many other takeaways in Kettering it will be another from now on. I hope someone reads this and passes it on to the owners as I won't go there again.

After moving from corby to Barton Seagrave I have struggled to find a decent kebab I tried sultan for the first time last night and I can honestly say this is hands down the best kebab I have ever tasted amazing

Sultans is simply the best Kebab House in town,run by absolutely excellent staff who are friendly and welcoming. We refuse to use anywhere else as in our eyes, they really are the best in town.

Yesterday we ordered LAMB SHISH KEBAB, so is very fatty, in lamb meat (meat is old(not fresh)) put to much salt and where is salad ? ( just red cabbage and little green salad) Results :all night I'm sick, now feeling very bad.

Asked what everyone wanted to have a a takeaway as quite late out, unanimous vote for sultan's. Been going there for years and all my family says no better place for a kebab, and they didn't disappoint. Just love there chicken kebabs and still the best by far.
