Yummy Lunch at reasonable price served by warm and friendly manager. Really glad to go there and will surely come back again

Best restaurant in Rochester, with THE best service! 100% recommended.

Came here with my family and every disappointment with the service I complained about a meal that we waited for 45 minutes for a mains ,which we asked how long then was told a couple of minutes when my meal came out( lamb iskender) it was cold I complained and the service gentleman look at me as if he did have a clue of what to do. I repeated it's cold then he said the chef can reheat it or something. He then said ten mins to wait and when it came out second time round the food had SPIT in it I complained and he didn't say anything!!! Very disappointed how we were treated .

1st time here an the food was absolutely delicious, we had the lunch time special 2 course meal. Bargain😋🙂defo going again

The food is so nice and the customer service is top tier! The staff are so lovely and the restaurant looks beautiful for pictures as well as to dine in. Would recommend and definitely will be returning.

One waiter for whole of upstairs area on a Saturday evening, 26 diners in total. Waited one hour for main, individual drinks arrived in dribs and drabs. Had to grab my friend's glass of white from next to the till in the end as it was getting warm. Our comments about the bad service were totally ignored. A request for a drink on the house for our patience was refused. I was one of a table of five and we all found the food to be mediocre. One seat had a broken back. Never again.

Atmosphere, food & drinks were decent! Service was good.

Pricey & understaffed (Friday night). Lots of big tables, they could not cope. 2 of our party waited 40 mins for their drinks, and chased their main course 4 times. Serve £9 Pinot Grigio Freixenet for £27.50. £5 for a bottle of water. Food pretty good, not massively fancy. Big table nearby barely touched their main course as it turned up so late they gad another venue to be at. The senior server was on the ball however and clearly deeply embarrased. Very good with food allergies.

Very friendly staff , very good quality food but very expensive £57 for x2 coke with a mixed shish and a chicken shish with chips and very small salad.

Great one for lunch with lots of set lunch options. So we ordered several dishes and shared food, so that we could try as many of them. Even if you are not a great fan of spice, you can find something from the menu. Attentive service. They changed the plates and cleaned your table after the appetiser, which I didn’t expect. However, it was really difficult to find a parking slot in Rochester during lunch hour.

Wow what can I say! what an absolute delight it was at Kaya Meze Bar. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, very professional at all times we were there for a bottomless brunch! And was not Disappointed at all, the food was excellent. Well done to the owner and his team. Definitely will be going back.

This might be the best food available in Rochester!!! We had calamari rings, prawn cocktail and halloumi as starters, lamb casserole, lamb iskender, chicken shish as mains, and Baklava as dessert. Every single dish was amazing! The service was excellent (special shout to Siddharth), and the atmosphere was energetic!!!

We had a celebratory meal here and it was amazing. The food was fantastic, the staff were all lovely and helpful. The ambience was relaxing( dined in the garden). Overall, it was an amazing experience.

The lunch menu offer a broad array of choice. Good portion sizes. Nicely marinated chicken and fantastic Falafel

10/10 experience tonight at kaya meze. The staff have been incredible, the DJ was a really good touch, the staff couldn’t have done more for us. The food was incredible especially the baklava dessert. Can tell it was home made and was so good.

The team at Kaya Meze have got it SPOT ON! Friendly, attentive, beautiful cocktails and wonderful food, buzzing atmosphere, an absolute dream! Isa, the manager, is a breath of fresh air. He really knows how to work the restaurant! And, if you’re lucky enough to be served by Shanine, then you’re definitely going to be looked after. She went over and above to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Will we be returning? ABSOLUTELY! Thank you Kaya Meze!

not sure I’d quite describe this as a fine dining experience as it has more of the feel of a tourist cafe with examples of its wares on a shelf immediately outside. I was not immediately offered the £13.95 set menu from which I chose prawn cocktail (exactly as displayed outside) followed by a lamb stew with rice and salad. With complimentary pitta and dips this all proved quite a steal.

Popped into the restaurant with some friends after a few beers, the food and service were fantastic and would definitely visit again.

Today ,we have a such a wonderful evening at Kaya Meze Bar !!! The food are absolutely delicious and good looking . Finally,I can definitely tell ,that today am tried the best drinks ! I don’t mind to pay for a really good drinks ,I am happy to find this place where I will come back to enjoy 🍸🍸🍸. About staff I can say that they are amazing. The atmosphere is very nice and very clean. That is so important!!!!’

Waiter seemed bored and unenthusiastic, and only seemed to ‘perk up’ when another member of staff was present. Starter was cold, slimy and not the product advertised, the only real saving grace being some complimentary bread. The main was dry, and cardboard like in texture, with others at the table having chicken that was evidently starting to turn, resulting in a bad stomach after, and an unpleasant aftertaste during the meal. The rice was simply foul. The waiter also decided to clean the table mid-way through the meal, disrupting our conversation, and items we had on the table.

Went in for the Lunch menu, ordered calamari as a starter and mixed shish for main. The starter consisted of 2 battered rings, served with bread and 2 dips, which were shared. The main was 2 small chunks of lamb and 2 chicken. These were so chewy and difficult to cut. Poor food and service, would not return.

Thanks Kaya Meze for a fabulous bottomless brunch. Food was so yummy, prosecco was flowing, sun was shining so the roof came off and the dj was playing some great tunes. Special birthday, awesome day! Can't wait to come back x 💃 🥂 🌞 💃

Amazing place with delicious authentic Turkish food. But the biggest bonus was to have wonderful staff who go above and beyond to help. Special mention to Sedo ( the supervisor) and Shanon who were simply brilliant. We are locals and have never been to this hidden gem. So pleased we finally did . Thank you Sedo, Shanon and the entire staff for a brilliant experience .

Where to start, I have no word literally shock 😳 so we made reservations for 2 soon we step in try to put on door table we asked for little more cosy one been let seat by the bar where all staff from bar keep staring at us my girlfriend wear short all been starting to her feels they never seen women before feel very intimidating , literally one young waiter come right next to us in our face asked for order we did order drinks and stater and main so we are already little off by staff behaviour but worse one we haven’t finished our stater we been given main food after serving stater in 5 min so we had to rush our stater to take our main , which I find so unprofessional, plus no cutlery been replace change after stater this not day we book on busy day we book this in week days which is fairly quit but it’s not something we spend £90 for dinner get this experience and funny other staff were eating next to our table talking very loudly where we came her for good experience so very disappointed food is also very low standard , Hopefully owner read this get his head around to fix this problem for next time

Very disappointing first visit here on Sunday, looked great online, but the service wasn't great, a friend ordered the salad and the bowl had three chips around the rim, another friend asked for a large coke and the waiter just said no, presumably meaning they only sold it in small bottles, but then returned with drinks for the rest of us and just nothing for the friend that ordered a soft drink. the starters to be fair were delicious and a healthy size but the mains were over priced and mediocre... far too expensive for the quality and portion size.. luke warm, took a long time to arrive, had probably been sitting on the sode for a while hence the long wait. Tiny amount of rice and the smallest salad possible accompanied a relatively expensive main. Also, now looking at other reviews I've discovered that there is a lunch menu, these menus were not on the table that we were given and the lunch menu wasn't offered to us, even though we visited at lunch time. I was charge double what I should have been charged, what a shady buisness practice, very untrustworthy establishment.

WOW. This place is amazing! We came for bottomless brunch and was running late - this was no problem for the amazing staff on shift and they seated us without a fuss. Every single member of staff made us feel welcome and topped up our drinks quickly! This is the most amazing and well priced brunch around. The food is 10/10 and the cocktails are to die for. Will 100% return again, thank you again to all staff x

Coming here was the biggest mistake we made. After ordering, we noticed everyone around us asking for the lunch menu which was not offered to us when we sat, so we ended up paying double of what we would have paid if we had the lunch menu. We spoke to the manager after paying and when we were leaving, explaining that after ordering and when we noticed other customers had the lunch menu, we asked the waiter for the lunch menu who pretended to ask someone and then never came back to us. The manager said they don't have the lunch menu today because of the festival. This is clearly not true as everyone else was ordering from the set lunch menu. Anyway, we ate, paid and left. Dishonest behaviour by everyone in that restaurant. Would not recommend to anyone and will never return. Food was mediocre, zero ambience and service (see above). If you want to try proper Turkish food, it will cost you less to go to Green Lanes in London.

A lovely place, great looking inside and out with a nice atmosphere and the staff were so willing to help and friendly. A few little issues with the food, considering its not cheap, some meats were a little chewy and the presentation made it awkward to get to the rice and bulgar wheat, sounds random but you'll know when you visit. We mentioned the ribs were too tough and they remade fresh ones. The dessert cake was a bit stodgy and cold although it should have been warm. They quickly rectified for us so no big issue there, I just expected it to look nicer. The starters were amazing The mains and dessert could do with little tweaks. But overall the staff and atmosphere made it a lovely experience and I would do again.

Turkish is a must-visit! Fresh, flavorful food, expertly crafted cocktails, and friendly service. The borek and hummus starters followed by lamb chops alongside an Amaretto Soul were amazing!

The food was incredible, boasting immense flavors that left us satisfied. The chicken shish was to die for! However, the service was lacking. Not only did it take 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive, but they were also incorrect. After waiting an additional 20 minutes for the correct drinks, our patience was tested even further.

My friend and I were looking for a long lunch somewhere, where we could chat and catch up in a nice relaxing atmosphere we found it at Kaya Meze Bar, the staff were very Friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced! We will definitely go back!

Nice restaurant and set up is exactly what Rochester needs. I felt the food was presented well. However, on the whole, the food was slightly bland, needed warming up and was a tad bit expensive. (I have been to Turkish restaurants in London where you get more for your money. All in all, a new starter that needs abit of improvement. Wish them well.

Hey guys! So I came here on a Friday evening for a works outing and OMG, the food was Amazing! I personally had a Mixed Grill and I have never tasted anything like it!! After food we stayed for some cocktails and they dident disappoint! Great value for money and such a cool spin on the classics 😁! I’d like to say a Special Thank you to Eza for taking care of our table and the Bartender Callum for giving us the Cocktail suggestions 🫶!

Menu for afternoon brunch was ok but dessert menu only 2 choices and the ice cream had large chunks of ice in . Singer was amazing but I have to say the music was way too loud , heard several people ask for it to be turned down but it wasn’t . All in all a great afternoon

Nice atmosphere, you are for the looks of the location. Staff are children looking, food not that special for the price. Don’t bother. Chef’s are cooking without masks, all hair going into food, they are eating food themselves whilst cooking it. We said to staff that the food was cold, they took it away and added hot oil to the plate and brought it back within 10 seconds and said it was freshly cooked. The cocktails are over priced and half full in glass. Overall looks nice from outside but get better service from macdonalds.
