I been ordered for lamb chops I received 4 pieces solid lamb chop and 2 piece ribs which is not good

Have been many times to this restaurant but last night the service was very much below par, we ordered white bait for starters and the bbq special for main, the wait was long, then my main came I said we were waiting for our 2 white bait starters, then 5 mins later the owner tried to give us our 2 mains again, again I said no we are waiting for starters his reply was "it's on its way' I said no we want our starters 1st he actually looked shocked he then went away, another long wait to the point we nearly got up and just paid for the 2 beers we had but I said no its ok we'll wait, then we got our starters I had to ask for tartar sauce, this was good food, we then got our mains, well it was not fresh obviously been put under a hot lamp, the rice was cold and the food was barely warm, I ate what we could as I'm sorry I was bot willing to report and have to wait again for my tea. Not a good experience on this occasion.

Nice food but wasn’t very warm

Really gutted by todays experience. food arrived late and was cold. Food was below average, rice tasted like microwave rice, chips were soggy, both main dishes were tasteless. It was the first time trying this restaurant and won’t be trying again. Wish we had ordered from an alternative. Normally don’t write negative reviews but the food quality warranted.

Had a delicious meal here after hearing great things. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and make it a great evening. I was expecting more of a “show kitchen”, but it is basically like looking at a takeaway kitchen. The food is very tasty and much better quality than a takeaway kebab place. The portions are large, and some of the big platters look incredible. The food was not greasy at all and tasted very fresh and traditional. I had the mixed doner with fries. Had the baklava to finish which was lovely, but clearly just bought in boxes. Served with Turkish tea, and the hosts kindly gave out free alcohol shots while I was there. All the drinks are bottled, so don’t expect a pint. The decor is nice, the staff are lovely, but the grilled meats are the star attraction. Note: There is a 10% tip automatically added to your bill, which I’m not a fan of.

Incredible taste and portion of food is very satisfying. Rice was tasty, and the meat were just amazing: i could feel the passion and love that was poured into making the best food for the customers. We ordered to share 4 dishes among 5 people. The waitress was funny and friendly, spacious and comfortable. Great value for money!!

First time ordering from Ephesus! Ordered the Medi Platter for 2 people. THE BEST Turkish food we have eaten. So much variety and every dish was absolutely delicious. Food arrived on time (by the friendliest delivery driver!!) packaged well and the hot food was all still lovely and hot. 100% will order again!

Having visited the restaurant on several occasions it lived up to expectations yet again. The staff are super friendly and the food is tremendous.

Came this evening for my son’s 19th birthday celebrations. Absolutely fantastic staff and gorgeous food. Even sang him happy birthday what he enjoyed! Today was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last. Can’t wait to come back soon

I ordered 2 mains and a side via the just eat app. Got confirmation that the order had been accepted at around 8.30pm. got a message stating I should expect delivery at 9.50pm. Then at 9.40 received a cancellation notice that the restaurant couldn't fulfil my order! Why wait over an hour to tell me that? Was left hangry and frustrated, it seems the restaurant may be fine, but don't bother ordering a takeaway.

Visited this place as the menu looked good and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent as was the service. The owner was very enthusiastic and pleasant. Good food, beer and wine . Highly recommended.

The chickens are not juicy at all, the lamb is not tasty at all and the rice is poorly spiced, will not order from the restaurant again

Delivery time longer than originally quoted on app and not kept updated on when food was on the way. Although food then arrived before they estimated it was all cold and therefore not enjoyable.

I found Hill Ephesus on GoogleMaps and I’m so glad I did. If you’re craving Turkish or simply Middle Eastern, this is the perfect spot. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and portioned generously. There’s an outdoor seating area in the back of the restaurant that is bright and open - even includes a beautiful tomato garden with a TV adjacent. Perfect spot for a party, gathering or a group watching football. The restaurant owner is incredibly warm and generous, along with his team. Great experience - so glad I found this place!

I'm hoping we just visited on a bad day…food was dry and some bits were inedible 😔 The only good part was the beer as they didn't make that!

We came in last night for a meal with friends. We were served but a very overdramatised waiter. Our starters was like it was cooked twice. Definitely over cooked was not gd. Then the mains appeared………. Well the chicken was so dry and could have killed some the Donna meat was hard and looked like it was from breakfast box and was tuff as old boots We didn’t. Stay for pudding we could Only think what they would be like. So this was our 1st and will definitely be a last time. We did complain to the waiter and he did say anything we said we could even eat 3 out of 4 meals that we had could eat! Disappointed is an understatement!

Whilst the meat and rice was flavoursome, bread was not fresh which came with our kebabs. It’s an average quality food and not worth the >1hour wait.

The food was lovely,and well worth the price,the gentleman was lovely.the reason I only gave it a 3, was because a lady server was sitting and chatting with her family/friends,not aware of what was going on around her,more interested in her family/ friends.she passed my table twice,I had finished my main meal ,she didn't even acknowledge that I had finished my meal,her family and friends had come into the restaurant after me,while I was waiting for my pudding they had finished their meal,she then brought out the pudding for her family/friends.I had to ask her for my pudding in the end.when it came to pay it had a service charge on it,I told her to take it off,which she did.i wasn't going to pay a service charge ,as the service from her wasn't good. I will go back again,as I said the gentleman was lovely and the food was good and reasonably priced ( it was a lunch time).

Family-friendly restaurant with very good food. The garden behind was sheltered and the wooden benches more comfortable than I expected. The waitres was friendly and helped me decide what to order. It was quiet enough that I could read my book, though I think as I went quite early, it might pick up later. I look forward to coming back and trying something else. The portions are huge.

Advise not to order delivery from this restaurant! We were given an estimated hour and a half wait for delivery which is slow, but food did not arrive for 3 hours and was cold. App delivery update request was inaccurate. When I called the restaurant the person was rude, spoke over me, was not helpful and did not listen to me. A request for a refund via the app has been ignored. Will not use them again - really awful experience ruined what should have been a pleasant birthday treat!

App says the food is delivered. Still hasn’t received my order. And restaurant hung up twice.

The service is excellent week after week. The manager is kind and thoughtful. The food is delicious and good value. The lunch special especially.

If they want to present themselves as a nicer restaurant, they should change a lot. The outside looks good, but the inside felt dingy. Friendly staff. The waitress wanted to engage with the guests asked us where we were from etc. Gave attention with music if you have a birthday. The food quite ok.

It said it was ordered before it was ordered so I rang and complained because I was worried it went to someone else. Your driver delivered it a few minutes after.

Good food, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Mains were well presented, and the children's meals were particularly good value. Recommended, will definitely visit again.

I have ordered from this restaurant now on four occasions and three of those the food has been over 30 mins late - without a message or call to say the food is late - not sure I will give them another opportunity. Shame as the food is tasty but the service is poor

Excellent food, a good atmosphere and very friendly staff. We visited with a friend as he suggested he knew a place with great food in the area. It so happened and we arrived right before the kitchen closed, but the staff was more than happy to take our orders. Can't complain about anything, we had a wonderful time.

As a Turkish person myself I can tell you his food is just amazing! Authenticity is a different thing when you are out of Turkey, therefore he is pretty close!!!

Not only late but food was luke warm. Ephesus! This is so unlike you. A simple curtesy phone call saying you have problems would have made such a difference.

This is a super place to have a very friendly and welcoming Turkish experience! We were a family group celebrating a birthday and the staff really joined in - we felt very much at home! Food was great, service excellent and can thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I have their food often! Good turkish! At Lunch menu go for the lamb ribs (amazing) at a very good price!

We tried the lunchtime special, which includes starter, main and small dessert with Turkish tea for about £11 at time of visit. I have to say it was all very tasty and well cooked and the portions are just right for lunch. The service is also very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended based on one visit.

Eating here felt like we were visiting family. We received a warm welcome and were well looked after. The food was delicious and very filling. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again.

My son and I stopped here last night for dinner, and had an excellent meal. We were welcomed personally by a very friendly lady, with whom I had spoken on the phone en route. She remembered that we had called ahead to order, as we were short of time.We had only a short wait for our food, which was freshly prepared and piping hot. I had vegetable moussaka with a lovely salad a buttered rice. My son had chicken shish also with rice and salad. I couldn't finish mine, as we had to leave to meet someone, so the kind lady put it in a container in a bag for me, along with some Turkish Delight sweets for the journey. I've just eaten the rest of my moussaka, and it was so good!! If you're in Huntingdon, go and try it.

Best food ever, love the lamb chops. I had the best Lamb kleftiko ever, cooked to perfection, well seasoned and served with beautiful Turkish rice accompanied by a gorgeous salad topped with pomegranate sauce and vinegar. My compliments to the chef!! Well done!

Food was on time, but when ordered wasn’t an hour was 2. Food was lovely and tasted great but came cold. Chips were so cold we couldn’t eat them.

Came for lunch menu, arrived at 3.55pm and no problem (lunch menu finishes at 4pm). Lots of choice, 3 courses for £10.80 and vegetarian options available. Lovely staff, very friendly and hospitable. Lovely man from Marmaris served us. Fresh, flavoursome, filling food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon.

My meal was nearly cold by the time is dished It up was stone cold And chips were undercooked and some still cold x very disappointed had to put everything in my oven to heat up not what you should do with takeaway xx

I ordered tempura prawns for starters and sea bass with rice for mains. Prawns were good but the grilled sea bass absolutely amazing. The order was delivered earlier and the portion was generous….5*

The meat was lovely and so was the bread but received no roasted vegetables or rice so had to cook our own rice up.

I had very Bad experience the service was awful. The food was burn. I have asked a chicken Beyti but they brought chicken Durum we did ‘t eat half and left the restaurant. I wont go again

The lamb and sauce had excellent flavour. The advertised vegetables consisted of 2 half mushroom and a slice of pepper which was disappointing quantity. The order was delivered without rice. The roast pepper starter was very tasty. The order was too cool.

The margarita pizza had a meat sausage round the edge which wasn’t mentioned in the menu and meant half was wasted as we don’t eat meat. Very long wait for food.

So I can't rate this place enough, it was quiet but I prefer that and I do believe from the amount of phonecalls and people coming in and out most of there business is through takeaways, if you are local to huntingdon justeat and food hub, or go in! Waited an hour and 30 minutes for COLD FOOD!!!! Phoned to chase 3 times and the staff didn't care at all and rudely put the phone down on me!!! I will not be ordering from here again.such a disappointment for a first customer experience!!!

I don’t know why this place gets good reviews. I’ve tried it three times now and it’s always the same, poor quality, bland and overpriced food. £30 minimum delivery fee is ridiculous! I just spent £40 on two meals, that’s restaurant prices, which would be fine except what arrived was poor takeaway kebab house in quality. It’s such a shame because the menu looks and sounds amazing, I’ve kept going back hoping I’ve been unlucky. It’s the only place of its type on Just Eat for the area. Disappointing

Very disappointed with the service

I order delivery from this restaurant all the time, and it's always amazing food. They have great portion sizes and everything always tastes fresh! My only complaint would be that they no longer serve the anatolian soup, at least on delivery apps. That was one of my favourites!

Our family frequents this place and they always welcoming. Tonight myself and my partner went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I am so glad we chose to go here. I can't praise the staff enough. They were really lovely and the chefs made the food taste amazing. We'll definitely be going back again!

Absolutely amazing! 8 of us visited for a late lunch and loved everything about it. The food, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness… everything was spot on! The food was delicious and amazing value for money. We had starters including Tzatziki and bread and Turkish sausage, the bread that came with the Tzatziki was plentiful, warm and delicious. All of the mains were incredible, 2 of us had the mixed kebab, there was a large variety of meat and was super tender and a very generous portion size. There was plenty of vegetarian options for us too, we had falafel and humus and a vegetable casserole which both came with a choice of chips or rice and salad. The baklava and Turkish tea at the end of the meal was amazing! And the Turkish delight with the bill was a lovely touch. We would all highly recommend Hill Ephesus and will definitely be back!
