Visited this place as the menu looked good and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent as was the service. The owner was very enthusiastic and pleasant. Good food, beer and wine . Highly recommended.

This is the most outstanding restaurant I have visited in the area. Faysal and Iwana provided outstanding service and the quality of the food was also excellent. Best Turkish Restaurant I have been to and one of my favourites

I found Hill Ephesus on GoogleMaps and I’m so glad I did. If you’re craving Turkish or simply Middle Eastern, this is the perfect spot. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and portioned generously. There’s an outdoor seating area in the back of the restaurant that is bright and open - even includes a beautiful tomato garden with a TV adjacent. Perfect spot for a party, gathering or a group watching football. The restaurant owner is incredibly warm and generous, along with his team. Great experience - so glad I found this place!

I'm hoping we just visited on a bad day…food was dry and some bits were inedible 😔 The only good part was the beer as they didn't make that!

We came in last night for a meal with friends. We were served but a very overdramatised waiter. Our starters was like it was cooked twice. Definitely over cooked was not gd. Then the mains appeared………. Well the chicken was so dry and could have killed some the Donna meat was hard and looked like it was from breakfast box and was tuff as old boots We didn’t. Stay for pudding we could Only think what they would be like. So this was our 1st and will definitely be a last time. We did complain to the waiter and he did say anything we said we could even eat 3 out of 4 meals that we had could eat! Disappointed is an understatement!

The food was lovely,and well worth the price,the gentleman was lovely.the reason I only gave it a 3, was because a lady server was sitting and chatting with her family/friends,not aware of what was going on around her,more interested in her family/ friends.she passed my table twice,I had finished my main meal ,she didn't even acknowledge that I had finished my meal,her family and friends had come into the restaurant after me,while I was waiting for my pudding they had finished their meal,she then brought out the pudding for her family/friends.I had to ask her for my pudding in the end.when it came to pay it had a service charge on it,I told her to take it off,which she did.i wasn't going to pay a service charge ,as the service from her wasn't good. I will go back again,as I said the gentleman was lovely and the food was good and reasonably priced ( it was a lunch time).

Family-friendly restaurant with very good food. The garden behind was sheltered and the wooden benches more comfortable than I expected. The waitres was friendly and helped me decide what to order. It was quiet enough that I could read my book, though I think as I went quite early, it might pick up later. I look forward to coming back and trying something else. The portions are huge.

Very nice lunch , I had the lamb ribs and my friend had the lamb stew , good friendly service and relaxing atmosphere

The service is excellent week after week. The manager is kind and thoughtful. The food is delicious and good value. The lunch special especially.

If they want to present themselves as a nicer restaurant, they should change a lot. The outside looks good, but the inside felt dingy. Friendly staff. The waitress wanted to engage with the guests asked us where we were from etc. Gave attention with music if you have a birthday. The food quite ok.

Good food, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Mains were well presented, and the children's meals were particularly good value. Recommended, will definitely visit again.

Excellent food, a good atmosphere and very friendly staff. We visited with a friend as he suggested he knew a place with great food in the area. It so happened and we arrived right before the kitchen closed, but the staff was more than happy to take our orders. Can't complain about anything, we had a wonderful time.

As a Turkish person myself I can tell you his food is just amazing! Authenticity is a different thing when you are out of Turkey, therefore he is pretty close!!!

This is a super place to have a very friendly and welcoming Turkish experience! We were a family group celebrating a birthday and the staff really joined in - we felt very much at home! Food was great, service excellent and can thoroughly recommend.

My wife and I have their food often! Good turkish! At Lunch menu go for the lamb ribs (amazing) at a very good price!

We tried the lunchtime special, which includes starter, main and small dessert with Turkish tea for about £11 at time of visit. I have to say it was all very tasty and well cooked and the portions are just right for lunch. The service is also very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended based on one visit.

Eating here felt like we were visiting family. We received a warm welcome and were well looked after. The food was delicious and very filling. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again.

My son and I stopped here last night for dinner, and had an excellent meal. We were welcomed personally by a very friendly lady, with whom I had spoken on the phone en route. She remembered that we had called ahead to order, as we were short of time.We had only a short wait for our food, which was freshly prepared and piping hot. I had vegetable moussaka with a lovely salad a buttered rice. My son had chicken shish also with rice and salad. I couldn't finish mine, as we had to leave to meet someone, so the kind lady put it in a container in a bag for me, along with some Turkish Delight sweets for the journey. I've just eaten the rest of my moussaka, and it was so good!! If you're in Huntingdon, go and try it.

Best food ever, love the lamb chops. I had the best Lamb kleftiko ever, cooked to perfection, well seasoned and served with beautiful Turkish rice accompanied by a gorgeous salad topped with pomegranate sauce and vinegar. My compliments to the chef!! Well done!

Came for lunch menu, arrived at 3.55pm and no problem (lunch menu finishes at 4pm). Lots of choice, 3 courses for £10.80 and vegetarian options available. Lovely staff, very friendly and hospitable. Lovely man from Marmaris served us. Fresh, flavoursome, filling food. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back soon.

I had very Bad experience the service was awful. The food was burn. I have asked a chicken Beyti but they brought chicken Durum we did ‘t eat half and left the restaurant. I wont go again

So I can't rate this place enough, it was quiet but I prefer that and I do believe from the amount of phonecalls and people coming in and out most of there business is through takeaways, if you are local to huntingdon justeat and food hub, or go in! The food was fresh and not a single complaint to be had, delicious through and through, and very quick service also, will be returning many time's

Very disappointed with the service

I order delivery from this restaurant all the time, and it's always amazing food. They have great portion sizes and everything always tastes fresh! My only complaint would be that they no longer serve the anatolian soup, at least on delivery apps. That was one of my favourites!

Our family frequents this place and they always welcoming. Tonight myself and my partner went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I am so glad we chose to go here. I can't praise the staff enough. They were really lovely and the chefs made the food taste amazing. We'll definitely be going back again!

Very nice lunch took by chance to pass a few hours waiting for car repair , all food was well cooked and authentic , great friendly service , would definitely return and recommend .

Absolutely amazing! 8 of us visited for a late lunch and loved everything about it. The food, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness… everything was spot on! The food was delicious and amazing value for money. We had starters including Tzatziki and bread and Turkish sausage, the bread that came with the Tzatziki was plentiful, warm and delicious. All of the mains were incredible, 2 of us had the mixed kebab, there was a large variety of meat and was super tender and a very generous portion size. There was plenty of vegetarian options for us too, we had falafel and humus and a vegetable casserole which both came with a choice of chips or rice and salad. The baklava and Turkish tea at the end of the meal was amazing! And the Turkish delight with the bill was a lovely touch. We would all highly recommend Hill Ephesus and will definitely be back!

Phenomenal place. Found by accident last time i visited and ordered a takeaway. Decided to eat in this time and was blown away by the service. Probably the best turkish restaurant I've been to in the UK. Been back twice this week already and may visit again before i leave. Will definitely come back every time I'm in the area.

Amazing food, however they don’t follow dietary instructions for take away orders. I have specifically asked that they don’t put onion and parsley on my salad due to them triggering my GERD and now I have to spend 15 minutes sorting out my salad before I can start eating… This is not happening for first time.

What a fantastic restaurant! We stayed in Huntingdon and discovered this place by chance and so glad we did. My wife had a vegetarian mousakka and I had a lamb kleftiko. We had a huge green salad too! The portion sizes are massive and the service was really good too. The owner bought us a raki and had a chat which was great. It’s rare to find this kind of homemade food these days in an authentic environment and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there !

Recently ordered a takeaway from here for the first time. Delivery time was excellent, arrived early and the food was piping hot, well presented too. The downside was the chicken donner meat was a dry and the chips a bit soggy. Also I found the cost to be very expensive for what I had ordered - there are many local places aside from this that offer the same food for better prices.

My wife and I accidentally stumbled into this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. From the greeter to walking out of the restaurant, our experience was amazing.

Good music, amazing hospitality, large quantities of delicious food that melts in your mouth and is full of flavor! We went with a large party and we're able to try a bit of everything. None of the meals disappointed.

Th food was lovely and the restaurant had a lot of activities and toys (a slide, crazy golf and more) in a marquee, where we ate. This was perfect for our 9 year old. The owner was also really nice to the children.

Ordered in the car as we approached Huntingdon. Easy to order, menu lovely with vegan options, (thank you) We arrived 20mins later and the order awaited us, piping hot. Mixed kebab, salad, rice between the two of us - just perfect. Generous portions. Restaurant was busy and buzzing. (Possibly overly brightly lit for us if we were dining in.) Zapped the kebabs and rice in the micro when got home to give it a zip up. Mmmm. Wow so good. YUMM. Highly recommend.

My 1st time dining in a Turkish restaurant with a party of 8 and I have to say the food was excellent. It was reasonably priced for different budgets. I was a little apprehensive at first, but the menu had plenty of choice for meat eaters and vegetarians also. The customer service of the staff and the manager was second to non as the staff and manager really made a real effort to give a beautiful experience. The food was devine and full of flavour. I ate the grilled chicken with rice, which was fantastically seasoned. They have a lovely outside seating area also, which was perfect on a day like yesterday; which added to the whole dinning experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely be going back again. 10/10. Thank you.

Disappointed. Cold food, was given pitta bread that was all ripped up, like it came from another old customer table. It's a shame as the restaurant has potential.

Absolutely delicious. This place is so clean and tidy (it smelled like swimming pool clean as we walked in), the tables are immaculate, the cutlery and glasses are spotless, even the menus were clean and tidy. There is such a great selection of food to choose from. The service is just the best. Everyone is ultra friendly and polite. The inside of this place was beautiful. Its such a shame that its in Huntingdon, its been a long time since we've been there and I can guarantee it'll be a very long time until we have to go again...its an absolute dump. Having said that, if you are a fan of Turkish cuisine and you love a good atmosphere then you absolutely need to stop by.

We were just passing through the town centre and the restaurant caught our eye. We never knew this place existed until now. Even though it was empty at 1:30pm and we were hesitant, we decided to at least give it a try. My husband and I got the lunch special with a starter (humus & dolmas), entree (chicken & lamb shish) with dessert (baklava & Turkish tea). My kids (3 & 14 years) got two chicken wing & chips meals. We loved it! Everything was absolutely delicious!! I have no idea why they were empty. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They were really fast as well. We will be coming back again soon!!

Another brief stay in Huntingdon and couldnt wait to get here for tea - the highlight of each visit - best Turkish food in miles, one of our best ever + you wont be disappointed. So pleased they managed to stay open after covid. Always a warm welcome, good atmosphere, foods good quality, fresh + tasty - great value for money too !!! Looking forward to our return.

Beautiful food, simply but sooo delicious.

On each of our three recent visits we have been welcomed with open arms. Various meals from the menu were ordered together with a selection of drinks. Every part of the meal has been excellent including presentation, portion sizes and complete value for the price. The staff have all been great, including a very exuberant manager who cannot do enough to please and is very generous with his free offers (On the house). He is very forthcoming at the end of each meal to offer a free glass of Raki. Other than during Covid lockdown we have been going to this restaurant since the first day it opened and consider it to be an asset to Huntingdon. In our opinion it would be a complete loss to the town should it cease to trade. So give it your support.

Beautiful place & beautiful people. If you need something adjusted or modified, you just ask. The staff are very friendly & personable, especially the owner. In terms of vegetarian choices, there are many options. I'm not but I do try to reduce the amount of meat in my diet. The food is cooked & prepared & not frozen.

We had a wonderful evening in the restaurant Ephesus in Huntingdon..we ordered a Jumbo Platter for 4 people, there was enough food for 5 people. Absolutely delicious food. Great service. Very welcoming, fun and exciting atmosphere. I strongly recommend 👌 👍 👏 🙂

Can’t go wrong with that £9.8 lunch deal ! Started with an amazing lentil soup then lamb shish that comes with rice and salad ! Tea and baklava on top of that all for £9.80 absolutely worth it

Ordered as a takeaway, food arrived lukewarm, calamari was soggy, lamb tough, portion size was good but an expensive meal that I could not eat..... Very disappointed.

Group of friends went to dinner and had multiple problems with the food being undercooked and finding things in the food which wasn't edible. When addressed staff were rude and aggressive, would never go here again. Woman who worked there who got aggressive was drinking behind the bar and started shouting and pushing us after we'd paid to get out.

Went with a friend last week. Excellent food, friendly efficient service, reasonable prices (had lunch time menu of 2 courses) nice seating and clean toilet as well. Definitely want to go again!
