Olmo Lounge in Huntingdonshire

My friend recommended this place as she lives nearby, I was unaware it even existed as I am not local. We sat at our table and my friend said the waitress will take our order as they usually do come to the table. We chatted for a good 30 minutes and no one came so we asked someone who said we can use the scan system and order that way although she did say she would take our order if we wanted. We were all happy to do it from our phones so we all ordered individually. Not a problem but maybe when we sat down someone could have come over and explained. The drinks arrived quickly followed not long after by the food. We all enjoyed our choices, I had the beef chilli which was very nice. I found the menu online differed quite a bit to what was on offer, but chilli was one of 2 choices for me so I was happy. We ordered desserts and again I found some of the items online were not listed. I did want the hot brownie but it didn’t appear to be on the menu so I settled for just the brownie on its own which was nice and chocolatey. All in all a pleasant evening, definitely would go again. Service was quick once we realised the system. Nice surroundings and efficient staff.

Looked for a breakfast venue on our first morning in Huntingdon. Picked this place from TripAdvisor. Delicious shakshuka for me and an English for my partner. Mine was excellent, although my partner felt hers was not as hot as it should have been. She didn't say until we had left. Notwithstanding that, we were impressed enough to go back for dinner. A wonderful chilli for me and a chicken salad for my partner. Both meals were first class. On both visits, service was friendly and very efficient.

Amazing breakfast/ Brunch we came after this was recommended by family friends. Food was fabulous and staff really attentive..

I joined a group of friends and cast and crew that had just finished performing in the Commemoration Hall, as they had chosen The Elmo Lounge to go to. There was a single guitar/singer playing and the level of sound was oppressive to the point where my group were forced to retreat to the freezing cold unlit patio at the front entrance!! I then bought pint of pale ale, a half of Biere Morretti, and a small sauvignon blanc. I was somewhat shocked at the price but couldn't query it at the time due to the noise in the bar. Eventually the singer/guitarist stopped playing and we, as a group, moved into the warmth. I popped in the next day to query the price of the round I bought and was informed that it was £16.10 !!!! £5.80 for the beer, £2.85 for the half lager, and an extortionate £7.45 for the small glass of wine. Funny thing though, I was charged £14 so perhaps I should pay the additional £2.10 that I should have been charged; however, given the freezing conditions we had to put up with I don't feel that benevolent . This was my first venture into the Olmo Lounge and have vowed that it will be my last. Not a venue that will be recommending. No complaints about the staff though they were just doing their job.

Been here a few times. Service ranges from fine to flippin infuriating and it's not trade busyness dependent. But to be fair lately its been ok, I say so nervously as the bad times have been horrible but if it carrie's on then hoorah Huntingdon has finally a nice premium place. Thank you to the Management too that the beer choice is decent and all vegan friendly to go along with their vegan friendly menu, while it never seems to change much is still welcomed

Average place with good food. Floor Staff are so-so. It can be too dark in the evenings, why do they lower the lights? 🤔

Nice relaxed atmosphere trendy decor

Nipped in for a quick Brunch and had a great meal in a brilliant setting. When you walk past it's quite unassuming, but it is definitely worth heading in and grabbing a bite to eat. I had the shakshuka and it was amazing! The service from the staff was quick, professional and pleasant. This place is great and very clean.

In Huntingdon for an event and not sure where to eat. The Olmo Lounge really surprised us. Great relaxed atmosphere and fab decor, attentive friendly staff who although busy offered us a choice of tables and listened to my dietary needs, a menu with something for everyone and delicious food. I’d definitely recommend.

Had brunch at Olmo Lounge.Nice atmosphere with great music playing in the background. Pretty standard pub menu.Portion sizes are smaller for the price tag.Can't complain too much about the English breakfast. The desserts are overpriced and only a few options to choose from. Probably one of the cleanest toilets I have used in a restaurant.Keep up the good work.✌🏾

A really lovely place to eat and much bigger inside than it seems from the outside. We ordered via the app and the food came quickly and was delicious!!! There’s a huge menu so something for everyone. We ate in the late afternoon and as the evening approached candles were lit and the whole place changed from a pub/bar atmosphere to a more cosier restaurant feel, which was really nice. Overall it was a great place to eat and we’ll be back soon.

Only went for NYE drinks, service was good, attention to the customer was spot on, waiting service to table, top marks for that, didn't have any food so can't comment on that...o really will be going back

Lovely place, quick service and good food. We came here for lunch with family. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas. It was quite busy but we got served quickly. The souvlaki chicken flatbread and Philly beef sandwich were absolutely delicious. We will happily come back when we are in Huntingdon next time.

Wow absolutely fantastic would highly recommend to everyone to try staff where so welcoming and the food was out of this world we stopped for breakfast and what a lovely experience new favourite spot thank you almost lounge

Stives cambs: Disappointing place!!! Looks awful from the outside. Not very nice looking at all. Food very very pricey and small for what it is. Basically An over priced Weatherspoons, you may aswell go there. Service is also very slow. For example a tiny bowl of chips are £3.50 and you get about 5 chips. Hot drinks taste horrible and are expensive. Not a very good place. Don't waste your time.

Really nice place, friendly staff and great service. The only issue was the hot chocolate which my wife ordered. It had very little chocolate flavour which she found a bit disappointing. The food however was good quality and tasted amazing.

Good food and came out fast. The only two things I didn't enjoy was that the payment method forces you to set a tip before being served, when tipping generally is the result of good service, not something to pay in advance. The second thing was that the portions were a bit small, but very good food anyways.

Went for a quiz night here a few weeks ago and it was good, only thing they could improve on is having a more mixture of topics, it just general knowledge throughout the entirety of the quiz

The service was super slow with only a couple of waiters waiting over 25 tables. The food took over an hour to come to the table.

First time visiting this particular lounge location and I was impressed how consistent it is with the Peterborough Argo lounge. Ordered the avocado poached egg on toast off the brunch menu which was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The decor is homely and inviting. I even forgot I was in Huntingdon for a while.

I ended up here on a day where it seemed like everything was closed & was grateful to find a place to eat. The atmosphere was very cute. The taste of the burger was odd to me & I was unable to finish it.

Eclectic. If you ask me what the style was for the restaurant, I wouldn’t know what to tell you. It had Spanish vibes. Old Spanish accents on the wall. But then it also had photographs of swimmers. Unsure who the people were, but professional photographs. Then a section if mirrors. Usually mirrors are placed to make the space look bigger. In this case, they just put small vanity mirrors on the walls. It look cluttered and didn’t make the place look bigger. I could not order from my phone. Signal was bad, and the WiFi had a lot of people on it, so it was slow. I ended up just ordering from the bartender. Barkeep made a good gin and tonic. Very efficient and very friendly. We had like 3 different candles on our table. The food menu was eclectic as well. Spanish food, Mediterranean, American? I couldn’t quite grasp the theme, but it was very delicious.

we went here today for lunch and waited over an hour for our food and that was only because we complained .they pushed a table of about 16 or 17 people in front of us the front of house staff said the kitchen do what is easiest for them first that is the quickest way to lose trade

After several really enjoyable visits recently, today we had one that was far from enjoyable. Totally took the shine off the day. Will be a while before we return sadly.

Stopped in for an afternoon bite to eat and a drink. The atmosphere was low key but nicely relaxed. The staff were lovely and the chicken twist sandwich sensibly priced. Now....the quality of that sandwich was particularly great, as good a sandwich as I've ever had. The chicken was moist and hot, the bacon crispy and the ciabatta bread softly fresh.

Was amazing. The strawberry milkshake was delicious and the lounge breakfast 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Good food, good service lovely atmosphere

My first experience of the Lounge group very pleased, enjoyable lunch.

I must admit it was nice to get on UK soil after visiting rural France who have not heard of veganism. The pubs and hotels and camp sites all sell ham or cheese and the nearest thing they have to vegetarians is omelette. So it was nice to go to the Olmo Lounge which we stumbled across, just lucky to find the town on our way back to Newcastle upon Tyne. We may never go there again but it was nice to have a vegan menu. They also sell meat items. Thank you to the Olmo Lounge who were very reasonably priced.

Second time there in less than a year. I love the atmosphere. The food remains the same. And the service was excellent

my favourite place to eat/drink. excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner! coffee is the best ive ever had, and loads of choice. reasonably priced and wonderful atmosphere. super fast service and delicious food.

Apart from how dimly lit the place is the whole experience was great. The food was freshly cooked, beautifully presented and the service good.

Nice relaxing place to enjoy a delicious meal. Alot of really cool paintings and different art on thr walls . And the live music is always great to listen to as you eat . Had bang bang chicken and it was delicious .

Eaten here a number of times over the last few years but last 2 visits have not been the best service, one a Sunday with my young Grandson 2 adults and young child not much change from £35 1 breakfast came with the items we had asked not to be included, then after the meal we realised they forgot to bring the children’s vegetables and homus , today 2 adults had the large breakfast, again items on plates we asked not to be supplied, service very average, mushrooms cold, then once again after we had finished we realised the black pudding had been missing and we received streaky bacon not back bacon ….. no attention to detail so time to find somewhere else

I went here with my wife and sister. The food was good and the staff were friendly. It wasn't too expensive. The decor was fine, if a little bit dark bit it was OK. I would come back here if I were in Huntingdon again.

Not the best in this chain of pub/restaurants. The decor is rustic but this place was a little too run down like they were in need of some cash spending on simple food serving items to make the place appear clean and hygienic. See pics. The chips were like they had been cooked multiple times and became filled with oil and tasteless. The serving cup was rusty and old, not rustic but like they had been scavenged from a dumpster. Coming in off the street, it can feel a little dark, but the staff are always genuinely friendly and helpful.

Lovely food, and great atmosphere. They have toys for children available. There are normal table and chairs and also sofa's, which gives you a really nice choice. Altogether a brilliant place.

A vegan menu that's actually fit for purpose. Prices high but not appaling. Only moans are 1 - Why music so high volume at flippin 1030am? 2 - Does it have to be so flippin dark? Yes no windows here and love it darker AT NIGHT but not in the morning Still prefer a pub but would return here

OK place but didn’t notice dogs are allowed so the loud yaps I found annoying. Handy terrace area out front so you can keep an eye on your bikes :-)
