We got Red donner on naan and a mixed grill we really enjoyed it the meat was really flavourful and charred. loved the medium chilli sauce and coriander and chilli sauce definitely going again.

Really fresh donner, served on a really soft warm naan. What's not to like. Not your usual run of the mill donner. The donners had a fresh taste to it and actually tasted like proper meat, spices really came through. Would say one of the best donners I've had. The salad also added depth to the meal. My only criticism is that you provide sauce in bottles. I felt sorry for the boss man running up and down the stairs constantly to bring me more lol.

Ordered 4 kebab when got home and checked only meat had to go back to get nans The staff said I didn't ask for nans If I ask for kebabs I would expect them in nans or some sort of bread by time I got home it was cold

Overrated , just because it opened before the other takeaways doesnt mean its better , overpriced aswell only because they opened in the 70s or 80s

It's always banging tasty always good but once a blue moon donner can be a little thicker than usual or something. I only recommend which i only go for is the red donner

Greeted by a young chap at the toll with “yoo” what on earth. The etiquette Galib once instilled has gone ? Do manners cost ? Ordered from here after a long long while. The donner masala was extremely overpowering inedible. The naan usually is brilliant, but this was like cardboard. Unfortunately, their lamb chops usually was the best in Rochdale. I would even rate this a 1/10. This place used to be an icon. No idea what has happened. It’s safe to say I won’t be ordering again. For reference for the chap who said “yo” to management, this was Monday 30th 6:10pm. One of the owners (Galibs brother) still a lovely chap who understands etiquette and manners. Note: maybe have someone who is a little more sensible at the till. Jzk

Fresh food tasty really enjoyed it

First time- Staff was great and helpful, customer service on point. Sadly the food wasnt all that for me. I had terrible stomach pain after, Diarrhea and lot of passing farts maybe it was uncooked on the day or something. I hear good reviews but I dont know I will leave 3 stars, in the middle. Price is good I think. Sadly I won't be coming but at least I tried the food :)

best red donner in Rochdale i have been going this place since 2015 never disjointed me. sometimes are bit busy on weekends that to be expected as good amazing food they are selling. wait is good for health.

We drove from Manchester on a recommendation. The server was extremely friendly he told us there was a space for us upstairs so we went straight up as there was many people around ordering takeout. Busy, all the booths were full, there is a small waiting area with a bench. Someone came to wipe the table I'm glad as the table was sticky. We got a mixed grill, came with a seekh ,chicken Tikka pieces, couple of lamb pieces and donner and some salad. We ordered naan and chips separately as it's not included in the grill. Nice dipping sauce Seekh kebab and naan for the kiddo, he rates it 5 out of 10 as he's a big fan of Abduls in fallowfield nothing can compare really. I liked the chicken Tikka the most, found everything spicy, maybe due to my illness so couldn't enjoy. Decent, try at least once , locals favorite, not worth another trip for us unfortunately.

Simply put, it's a local institution that has been has been serving amazing food for decades. I'm fortunate that this is local to me.

First time I've visited kebab house Rochdale a friend recommended this place so I thought I would give it a try and to be perfectly honest it was one of the best kebabs I've ever had we ordered two of the house specials on nan salad separate one with hot chilli sauce and one with chilli yogurt sauce absolutely amazing from the minute I walked in I knew the food was going to be special and the staff were very friendly and welcoming I will definitely be back well done to all the staff ☆☆☆☆☆

Don't know what they have done to this place it's no where near as good as it used to be the donner is just cheap tasting now gave me a bad stomach sure it was off never again naans are still nice n soft tho so if I ever need a naan on its own I'll pop in must be new management ruined a classic spot nice one

I genuinely expected more… I cannot fault the service, timing and price. Everything is fair. Unfortunately the doner was simply processed with coloring. This was not on the calibre of Mcturks in derby or The Three Chefs in Batley. Not even close.

The food at this place is spot on I ordered 2 house specials as recommended by the staff which was enough food. I would definitely recommend this place.

Prices have gone up and portions are going smaller, from the picture it doesn't look too bad but the nan is small , normally I would get all the meat the size of that nan. Shame really I Also tried the new burger box aka munch box costing £7.50 So you choose 1 of 5 burgers from this list donner stack (donner and Chicken donner burger) Chicken fillet (fried fillet burger) 1/4 pounder cheese burger (beef grilled burger) Chicken steak (grilled chicken burger) Supreme (lamb grilled burger) *these burgers below are excluded from the deal* meat feast burger, 1/2 cheese burger, double supreme burger or the mega stack burger + Choose between donner or Chicken donner for your side + you get 2 grilled wings ,portion of chips and any can I went for the chicken fillet burger my rating as a whole is 7/10 The Chicken fillet was TERRIBLE ,is one of those cheap frozen supermarkets fillet burger which was paper thin , shocking as Rochdale kebab house are know for making everything homemade but they tricked me here not happy burger get 4/10 Very small portion of fries and we're cold 6/10 Wings were very tasty however over cooker 7/10 Chicken donner was banging wish it was a bigger portion 9/10 Drink selection 9/10 This munch box is not the best deal imo when you break it down you basically just getting a free drink that's if you choose any burger other than donner stack because there all £4 each that comes with chips as standard you can add donner or Chicken donner as a side for £2 2 chicken wings is about £1.50 so your total so far is £7.50 so you get a free drink . The better deal is if you choose the donner stack burger that cost £5.70 not £4 like the other 4 burger because after adding the other items you end up getting grilled wings and drink for free if that makes sense , I personlay think it's a donner and Chicken donner overload which is why I choose something else , I personally wouldn't get this again as its not really worth it and limited to only these 5 burger and not the other 4 that excluded that are much better.

I have been going to kebab house for nearly two decades food is always outstanding never a let down. But on this occasion it has been a let down as i travel from far to eat at this place when I visit manchester. First of all I ordered a meal and it did not come with the sides I approached one of the staff who served me upstairs regarding the sides ( his manners were good he was not rude he was helpful he brought over tissues and forks for our table service) on the kebab house special he said you already ordered the nan and chips with the food but I ordered these separate i showed the staff the receipt his still adamant that you don't get sides, Reality is you do if you pay around eleven pounds for a kebab house special I've been coming here for years and never had a issue i did not make a fuss in front of the family as my child his not well i want him to have a good time when his out. My advice to your team especially the ones who are new is to go downstairs and ask the manager if it's right, As am a 💯 sure I got less than what I payed for as I have the receipts of proof to vouch for this. Hopefully my experience next time will be more pleasant Food 10/10 Staff service 10/10 Staff are exceptional always talk in a courteous manner and bring the cutlery and napkins while you wait for your food they even ask if you need anything else which they bring from downstairs and you pay at the end Payment10/10 They are an honest business when it comes to transactions they won't say like other asian businesses my card machines not working, You can pay by card or cash.

Kebab House was perfect but driver stopped at two different towns before dropping food off after picking it up. Took an hour to get here after being when a 10 minute drive away

It’s gone so far downhill this place. Freezing cold food. Donner like it had been made and kept for about 6 years. Even the salad didn’t seem very fresh. Won’t be ordering again. Rubbish.

This place been open since 1980 approx very busy place people travel from different places to get food from here. Seating area available nufin like the Donner kebab not normal Donner it's made on site very juicy and a hint of spice. Very addictive.

shocking to be fair. We paid nearly 30 pound for our order. I got a mixed platter and there was hardly no meat at all. If I could put a picture up I would. Definitely won't be ording from here again. Absolute rip off

This is one of the oldest kebab shops in Greater Manchester. I would definitely recommend visiting this kebab shop when coming into Greater Manchester. It’s one of the best around and well so one of the oldest the red Donner meet is to die for.

Ordered online cheesy chips was just chips with the smallest bit of cheese sauce in the middle the nan on the kebab was more like a pitta unbelievably thin also had a hair on the chips and bits of bone in the kebab disappointing

I got their Large house special with garlic nan and spicy fries, it did not disappoint meat was so tender, juicy and really tasty. The place was booming , very lively atmosphere and the service wasn’t too bad. Will be returning and recommending!!

The customer service you receive here is unmatched the owner Shahid knows us by name and we don’t even have to tell him our order anymore credit to his professionalism. The food is always made fresh and tastes amazing. The red donner is a staple of kebab house. I would leave 6 stars if I could but I would still be doing it an understatement. The kebab house is by far my favourite takeaway and is worth the travel from shaw in Oldham, I have been coming here for decades,this is by far the tastiest mix kebab around ,and it is same quality and taste consistently. There are other places I do like but if I had to pick one place this would be my first choice . The place is so clean,the brothers work hard and are smartly dressed in uniform, and they are organised . The takeaway has 6 donner machines rotating combine that and massive array of orders waiting to go on deliveries it tells how busy they are and how good their food is. Keep up the good work brothers, and may Allah give even more success.

It's deffinately one of the better kebabs in the area but overpriced and overhyped - not their fault. Feedback - I'd order more often but the plain burger is too spicy for my wife. It's a decent burger but id imagine a few people have the same issue.
