The best restaurants serving Thai food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

No habíamos reservado, pero recibimos una agradable bienvenida y nos dirigieron a una mesa vacante en la pequeña zona de la planta baja, donde ya había una serie de otros clientes. El menú tiene una amplia gama de opciones y satisface las necesidades dietéticas. El tamaño de la porción y la calidad de las comidas eran buenas y apoyadas con un servicio amable. Al pagar, la máquina de tarjetas presenta automáticamente una opción para agregar una propina.

When I ordered with my friend I was amazed at the food, it was excellent, we bought a green Thai curry, chicken satay and the pad Thai. HOWEVER, google maps said they were open and I was excitied to order again. After 6 missed calls, I decided to go to the shop and order. Turns out they’re actually closed from 27th January to mid April!

Went for lunch was 2 courses for £20 the food was incredible! Every dish we ordered was really good quality and tasty. The service was fantastic, food came out quick and really well presented. Will definitely be our go to when visiting leeds!

This is an ex pub now used as a Thai restaurant and has been so for many years. The decor is your standard Thai ornamentation and is clean and pleasant. They have an extensive menu with some dishes I haven't encountered elsewhere. Our food was all delivered hot and was very tasty and in one case, very " hot and spicy".!! She was warned by our waitress. The dishes are also very reasonably priced, so that was a pleasing factor.

Lovely little place with fabulous staff, food is delicious

Absolutely smashing resturant! One of my new favourites and one of the best I've ever been to. Went with my partner for an anniversary meal. Really loved the experience - great, tasty food, brilliant service and very classy atmostphere with incredibly intricate decor! The staff were very busy on our visit as it was a packed Saturday evening, but they never failed to check-in on us and the food came out very quick - it's as if they read our minds and cooked our food before we'd even picked it from the menu! I highly recommend Sukhothai to anyone and I'll definitely be back 😀

I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Zaap Thai in Headingley, Leeds. From the moment I picked up the phone, things went downhill fast. I initially called to place an order, and after being passed around three different members of staff, I was left feeling more frustrated with each transfer. The cherry on top? They hung up on me—mid-sentence. This is beyond unprofessional. After the abrupt disconnection, I had to call back and explain everything again, only to be met with no effort to resolve my problematic order. At no point did any of the staff offer a solution or show any sense of accountability. The complete lack of customer service was not only disappointing but utterly infuriating. If this is how Zaap Thai in Headingley treats a returning customer, I can’t imagine how they handle first-timers. My partner and I have frequented this place multiple times, but this experience has left me questioning whether it's worth continuing to support them. The complete lack of customer service, combined with the frustration of dealing with an unhelpful and disorganized team, has soured my opinion entirely. It’s a shame, as we’ve enjoyed the food in the past, but with service like this, I’m not sure we’ll be back.

Most of the food was lovely, most of the service was great and the atmosphere is good

A menudo me llevo a mí mismo para el almuerzo aquí y también en ocasiones recibir la entrega a través de deliveryoo. ¡Este lugar nunca decepciona! El curry verde es el mejor curry tailandés que he probado. Simplemente brillante. ¡Muchas gracias!

Fuera del menú principal hoy disfrutamos de comida tailandesa más brillante. Entradas de galletas de langostinos Manura, sidra de aspall para la comida. Seguido de pollo picado marinado en tostadas, semillas de sésamo, frito con una salsa de chile dulce. Directamente de la freidora a la mesa, caliente. Crujiente Gyoza - Relleno de pollo, verduras mezcladas con una salsa para mojar. Ambos compartimos un poco de cada uno. Un comienzo encantador con la red por venir. . . . . . . Mi esposa elige lubina al vapor con salsa de soja y jengibre. Una porción generosa de lubina, sin huesos, muy sabrosa, le encantó este plato. Pato en salsa de tamarindo para mí, delicioso. Arroz frito con huevo para los dos. Una pareja en la mesa de al lado dijo que estaba allí 1 vez en la calle, pero me encantó la comida y volveré. Un gran descubrimiento para encontrar la hospitalidad familiar tailandesa haciendo que comer fuera tan agradable.

Fuimos aquí para una cita nocturna con algunos amigos y no nos decepcionó, el personal era muy amable y acogedor. La comida era fantástica y fresca, todos estábamos muy llenos al salir. A pesar de que teníamos el especial de reserva anticipada, todavía era un poco caro, pero valía la pena el dinero.

Came here too many times a week when I lived in Leeds. Probably my favourite looking back on it.

Food is very tasty but service was a bit slow
