The best restaurants serving Thai food in East of England

We’ve found our new favourite takeaway! What amazing tasty food. Only had takeaways but will definitely book to go to the restaurant and can’t wait!!

Great place to got for a breakfast.

My family go to this Thai restaurant, always delicious, quick service took 20 minutes ! Whenever we dine in the restaurant the atmosphere is wonderful all the staff are so kind would recommend coming here for the best experience. We are regular customers, and they never disappoint!

Ordered a vegetable red Thai curry, which came out with a piece of chicken in!!! One dish was sent back for being cold. Our group was on two different tables ordered at same time but one tables food came 20mins later. Service was very abrupt, no offer of a desert, bill just placed on table without being asked.

Delicious food. best Thai food I have had in this area! Pad ke mao with beef was flavorful, See krong moo ribs delicious. Nicely packaged with everything labeled.

A little slow to ask if we wanted drinks , but I know why , a bottle of cheap plonk 10.5% was £21.45 ?..no need for that , the drinks were very limited in choice but the food when it arrived was very good , the place was pretty empty just us and two other couples , understandable really late January ! Then I thought that 3 other near restaurants were in fact closed , so maybe I’m not the only person thinking their vinegar , sorry wine was over priced , apart from that I would eat there again just not first choice

Valentine’s Day so understood it would be busy but, restaurant is very small with too many tables packed in. Took ages for them to take our drink order, advised that we were ready to order food and that took another 20 mins before they came back to take the food order. Requested starters and main together, which we were advised not to do (we wanted it that way to speed things up for us). Ordered a lamb dish to be advised 30-40 mins later that the lamb was ‘reportedly’ tough so asked if we would have a beef dish instead. Food took a long time to come out, while take away collectors filled up any space in the restaurant, meaning servers struggled to get to tables. We even joked about asking for the bill before we finished eating - we should have!! They should have stopped taking take away orders until they had processed the orders they already had (by phone or within the restaurant). 2 inexperienced waitresses weren’t doing a lot so the owners were running the show (felt sorry for the lady front of house) and her partner disappeared - can only assume to assist in the kitchen. Food was nice when it came out but, the experience was not. Waited at least half an hour for the bill in the end, having asked for it 3 times, while people who had booked tables were standing waiting to to be seated / won’t be rushing back, which is a shame as the food was nice and price reasonable.

We had a takeaway from here tonight. We have been meaning to try it for years and it didn’t disappoint! Very tasty food! No reheated meals and MSG here. If you want tasty, fresh food then this hits the spot! Looking forward to going back for more soon.

This Thai restaurant is permently closed. It is now an Indian restaurant called Indian Palace. We’re about to sit and give it a go. Fingers crossed.

Only ever had takeaway from here but the foods always good and service is friendly. Great Thai restaurant with good quality food.

Incredible food, and the pricing of the lunch menu compliments it even more. £12-£14 for 2 courses depending on the meat in the dish. Fast and friendly service. When I first discovered this place I came for lunch every weekend for almost a few months. That says it all!

Been coming here for years and the food is always fantastic but lately has been very disappointing to notice that they give priority to the various delivery companies like just eat and Deliveroos over paying customers in the restaurant. There is a constant in and out of drivers, the doors are often open and forgotten open making unbearable to sit near the door in this weather. the waiting time has got longer and longer because of that too. Please find an alternative solution because you will start losing customers over this!
