The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Isle of Anglesey North Wales

Eaten at this establishment so many times with my wife. Booked table or just walked in. Staff are friendly, food is of excellent taste and portion sizes. From the chip butty to sea food. Decided review today as we went for our anniversary as expensive restaurants aren't actually any better. Service is quick, and meals are of superb quality. My wife Louise had the mussels, and I ate the chowder from special menu . Surprisingly after the meal the staff brought a share dessert out. Completely by surprise but such a lovely gesture. Sea shanty we will be back as always. Keep up the fantastic work and beautiful food. Anyone visiting angelsey especially Trearddur bay get yourself in there.

We have visited this restaurant many times on our winter break in Anglesey. This year was no exception. As usual we had a lovely lunch the fish pie was superb! The staff are always friendly and the service was great excellent. Unfortunately we couldn’t manage the fabulous selection of cakes maybe next time!

Best fish & chips on the island. The online ordering works perfectly and staff so pleasant. I usually get small cod, small chips & mushy peas. Generous size meal I struggle to finish.

We called in on our way around Holyhead, best fish and chips I’ve had it a long time. Portions were very generous, nice big well cooked fish, proper chips. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Booked online for a birthday tea on Saturday 5/10/24 …turned up but you were closed! Now very hungry with nowhere to eat … not ideal

Terrible worst restaurant for the price I have visited. Half the menu was not available- No scallops,calamari, garlic bread,mussels. Beer in a can - No coke , No Rosie wine. Lobster luckily was available, it was tiny & barely any garlic butter on. (Must have run out of garlic) Restaurant was cold with no atmosphere must have run out of back ground music. It’s a 1 out 10 Don’t go

We enjoyed a very nice evening at Sandy Mount House. In this stylish restaurant, we had an excellent meal, serviced with professionalism and courtesy by Helen . A lovely unhurried atmosphere and a most pleasant ambiance, it was just the way an evening in a good restaurant should be. Full marks to this establishment. It is not the first time we have been here and it certainly will not be the last ! We recommend Sandy Mount unresevedly. Thank you.

Perfect pisgod a sglodion, no grease, a perfect sized portion too, so no wasted chips. It can get busy so be prepared to wait a little. It's worth it as it's freshly cooked. The curry sauce is particularly fine too Sorry there are no photos I couldn't wait to start on them.

Extremely average. Greasy chips, pretty tasteless fish. Last visit we went Finney’s in Benllech, so much better. Go if desperate..

BEST FISH AND CHIPS IVE BEEN TO!! The portion sizes were massive! The chips were so good and there were so many! Really fast service! The scallops were to die for!

Just had the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Tasteless. Chips were freezing, anaemic and slimy - like old chips refried in cold fat. Fish batter was so soggy. This place used to be great but it’s getting progressively worse. Never again. Nice box though …

Only place open for a coffee after a walk. Service was really slow just for 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Flat white was not- just a weak coffee with froth ontop. We sat inside and regretted it as it was ridiculously stuffy and table tops sticky. Dog friendly - again, which irritates me as not all if us wish to share eating space with canines. While we were waiting another customer cane in and added I'd it would help I'd he made his own tea?!! Terrible service. The millionaires shortbread was very good but that's about it

Had fish and chips £10 the chip were left overs from Saturday I think they were rock hard and tasted of old oil the fish was ok,but never again,third time been caught there.

The fish and chips here are quite good, although not the best that you can find on Anglesey. The prices are fair and typical of most other fish and chip shops

Awful chips. They were reheated after last night. Very expensive too. Ate four chips then has to bin them. The lady behind the counter was pleasant.
