Only place open for a coffee after a walk. Service was really slow just for 2 drinks and 2 cakes. Flat white was not- just a weak coffee with froth ontop. We sat inside and regretted it as it was ridiculously stuffy and table tops sticky. Dog friendly - again, which irritates me as not all if us wish to share eating space with canines. While we were waiting another customer cane in and added I'd it would help I'd he made his own tea?!! Terrible service. The millionaires shortbread was very good but that's about it

This was situated in a lovely place but we sat inside unfortunately as the weather wasn’t good. On a nice day the outdoor area would be lovely. The dogs were more than welcome and they were given a fresh bowl of water. The food was tasty and served a fresh side salad. Worth a visit

Awful place awful 😞 I went with my mum who struggles to hear alot becoming deaf . She has a bracelet that says that and loves showing it to people . Their was a women at the front bit of the till with red hair I don't want to point anyone out , but their you go . I asked for 2 soups and 1 cheese and 1 tuna sandwich. My mum has an allergy to fish and found a bit of tuna on her sandwich, later that day she had a terrible allergic reaction. Soup came cold tasted as if it was from a microwave and was the most bland I have ever eaten. The kitchen looked very empty but very messy. The older women seemed as if she didn't want to work their I felt awful for her and the other two looked dopy and confused were they were. Till person was slow and we Had to wait an hour for our food and drinks . Never go again . This isn't the first time i have went , food has been burnt at times or not cooked throughly, salad has been limp and brown looking and tomatoes look off

I stopped for a full Welsh breakfast, and it did not disappoint! At £8, it was great value for money, and included a free tea or coffee. I sat in the outside seating area with a great view over the Irish Sea. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was plentiful, and the view was fantastic! I can't recommend this highly enough. If you're driving here, just be aware that the car park entrance is about two hundred yards downhill from the cafe and it's not brilliantly signposted so be ready for it.

We decided to go there as it is a community cafe and had visited before. Unfortunately today the staff really struggled with service and food. I had promised my husband it would have fish & chips after our walk. It is a lovely cafe in a beautiful location and very clean. Inside & outside seating areas. Mainly serving drinks and cakes however alot of people came for lunch today. Arriving shortly after opening there was a limited menu it was clear some items had ran out. We paid for the food upfront which is a red flag. I had to ask for glasses for our canned drinks. The tomato soup was ok-fresh but tasteless & the cheese sandwich the same as no coleslaw. When the fish and chips arrived it was dire-overcooked and very dry with no sauces offered. I would have sent it back-others were also complaining. My husband wouldn’t as we had already paid. I hadn’t the heart to complain as felt for the staff serving such poor quality food. It is such a pity as it could be such a great cafe in the right hands. My husband & will never go back there.

We wanted to come check the Loft cafe, recently seen advertised on Facebook book and was keen to try Tapas one week, phoned up beforehand and asked if blue light card accepted (yes) It was a huge mistake travelling over from Holyhead. The 3 dopey ladies working at the cafe were slow, unorganised and useless, what an astonishing, poor service we received, shocked with the awful experience, ordered drinks, and food (told no fries, sweet potatoes available) so ordered sweet chilli jam chicken burger and beef burger with chips and once tilled up (after showing blue light card) staff forgot to put the 20% discount through, and said sorry, and expected me to pay full amount, but I refused and asked that she till it up again (what a cheek!) after 20 minutes had to ask if they had forgotten to make our drinks, said it would be over to table soon, we sat and listened to people complaining about the service and customers asking for refunds on drinks that they had been waiting for for over 30 minutes, none stop complaining poring in from customer from outside was still waiting for 2 kids meals and was informed that staff had forgotten about them so refund issued. Customers pushing dirty plates to one side to sit at table (most tables uncleared and cleaned after customers) we had finished our drinks before food had even arrived, once it eventually arrived no homemade coleslaw on either our plates, so I enquired and was told none been made up today, then we had no cutlery available so had to ask again, then I lifted top bap of chicken burger and disgusted with a shrivelled up small hard chicken pieces with a few sprinkled cheese no chilli jam so asked again for the sweet chilli jam and same answer that they had none! Had to ask for mayo and then ask for ketchup, food was far too dry without the coleslaw and 2 packets of sauce provided, it was awful rubbish food, 2 ladies serving were arguing over drinks not being made up and taken to tables and both staff clearly unhappy (awful atmosphere) customers still complaining and asking for refunds, customer asked how long food would be and got the response ‘I don’t know’!, another asked for drinks and staff said ‘I don’t make the drinks’, honesty it was a joke, as we walked out we could see annoyed customers complaining to a member of staff at the table, we left very disappointed and told a couple to not bother going in. Never have we had such poor experience and really upset us for a waste of journey! Rude staff, poor service and awful food

The service was very slow due to the staff being completely disorganised. Several people gave up waiting, cancelled their orders and left. When the food arrived it was poor quality with small helpings served in a style reminiscent of the 1970s. This is the worst cafe I’ve visited for years. I would strongly recommend you try somewhere else instead, it could hardly be worse.

A bit tricky to review as there were a couple of wrinkles, but I can’t not say 5*s. We have called more than once, but over at least 10 years, and each time it seems there is someone else owning it. On this occasion there was no doubting the bloke behind the counter’s enthusiasm. We are walking the Anglesey Coastal Path, and this is well located on it. A touch tricky to locate if driving past Amlwch on A5025. Hint turn off at signs for Amlwch Port. But worth it if casually driving round the island. We started with soup. Mushroom. For me a bit too peppery, I wanted more mushroom taste. However, the missus declared it spot on, and she had more acute (and younger) taste buds. Probably better to trust her opinion. Obviously home made, and recommended. Wrinkle 1, as above, the roll with the soup was too hot to pick up, hold, and tear. But enough for me to rethink a 4* review as 5*. Wrinkle 2, I opted for a sandwich instead of a roll. White bread came, I would have appreciated being able to choose brown. But it was substantial, possibly thick sliced / toast bread. As a tired Coastal Path walker I wolfed it down. Wrinkle 3, I chose cheese and onion. This was no supermarket pot of gooey mix. Real cheese grated. Proper onion chopped and added. Very tasty. So my wrinkle - please, next time, can it be on a bigger plate ? The bits kept dropping out. Managing thick sliced bread with the contents all over the place was ? Interesting ? Make no mistake, I loved it, and would order it again, Please take the wrinkles as suggestions to the happy, tireless, bloke, the end feeling on leaving was 5*. Thank you.

Came across this cafe whilst on a day out. Ordered toast and marmalade, a toasted ham sandwich with a dressed salad, tea, cappuccino and orange squash. Toast arrived very anaemic looking with one portion of butter for two slices. Toasted sandwich arrived with the smallest piece of ham in it. I don’t think the sandwich was made used a sandwich maker!!!! Drinks arrived a very long time after the food, and had to ask for milk for the tea. Other customers seemed to be waiting considerable amounts of time also. Plenty of staff around. Will not be returning.

A lovely little cafe close to where we were staying. We only wanted a hot drink however once seated decided that we were a little peckish. My husband had a delicious sausage bap and I had toast, which if I’m honest was a little anemic and only looked as if had been waved at the toaster. A lovely pit stop with good service and views. Well worth a visit.

Just had the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. Tasteless. Chips were freezing, anaemic and slimy - like old chips refried in cold fat. Fish batter was so soggy. This place used to be great but it’s getting progressively worse. Never again. Nice box though …

Booked a table for 4 over a week in advance. We turned up 5 minutes before our allocated time to find the place all locked up. Despite there being lights on in.the upstairs rooms no one came to answer the door despite ringing the bell and knocking!!! We left a note through the door stating that we had in fact been to the place but still no one had the decency to ring with an explanation. We left our telephone number at the time of booking. Never have we experienced such treatment from anywhere in Anglesey and would.not advise anyone to go there. Incidentally we had travelled some 15 miles to get there!!!!
