The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Highlands and Islands

Delicious beef and veg curry pasties. Also sampled the brownie, chocolate butteries and frangipane tarts. All fresh and thoroughly delicious. Do stop off and sample these delights

First day popped it at 3.50pm, ordered coffee and cake, told to take a seat, items duly brought to table. Then someone from behind the serving area literally shouted at a group of older ladies that they needed to leave as "we are closing in exactly 5 minutes". I caught the waiters eye and mentioned he had just served me, the same disembodied voice "we close at 4pm sharp". 2 days later at 2.10pm I dropped in for a sandwich, took a seat, looked the menu, went to order to be told "kitchen is closed" I mentioned that it states food served till 2.30pm, "served yes but it needs to be made first so we stop taking order around 2.15pm". Maybe the food is good but I have yet to try it. Staff need some lessons in customer care, speaking to some locals it appears they are well know for the lack of customer service.

We stopped here for lunch while on a tour of Skye. The food was delicious and the atmosphere nice and clean. For lunch, we had the onion fritters, Scotch pancakes, and crispy chicken sandwich, and all were delicious. We also got some squares to take with us and ate them on the road later - the salted chocolate brownie, lemon drizzle, and gingerbread were all amazing! The interior is really nice - clean and simple. There isn't an especially nice view of the exterior (the view from where we sat was mainly the car park) but it didn't matter too much for a lunch stop. The only negative - it wasn't clear where the main door was, so we entered through the wrong door and wandered through the dining area for a while before figuring out where we were supposed to enter.

I been at KB with my family for a birthday meal. First strange thing I noticed when they brought a buttered fish for my child and fish was pale, oily and soggy (when breaded fish served for my second child looked great). When they brought my buttered fish I seen the same- A very pale, soggy, greesy thing on my plate :( Taste was not good eaither..butter was not crispy, but greesy and also had a taste of old flour, not sure what was wrong but I ate less than half. When waitress came to collect plate (she probably seen I ate no much of it) she asked "if all was ok?"..I honesty said that I didnt like my buttered fish and... waitress just replied "Thats ok", turned around and gone with my plate. She show NO interest in situation at all.. and I had no even a chance to explain why I did no ate my dinner. Next thing I did not like, it when my kid's favourite song starts to play, some gentelmen appeared from kitchen with a hoover in his hands and without asking anybody around he turned his hoover ON and instead of music we listened a sounds of hoover for a few minutes. Kids were so upset. They said "we didnt hear our favourite song" :( Now, after I came back home from KB I had a very upset stomack and it still sore, child who had buttered fish too complained about sore tummy too. So..not very good experience for 70 pounds we paid. Probably would not go back to KB again :-(

Stayed at a nearby B&B, so ate dinner here. Had fish and chips, which was lovely, and the best dessert I’ve had this holiday. Small place, so need to book. Unfortunately, not open on a Sunday or Monday.

Amazing seafood cafe. Surrounding are astonishing and amazing to eat some fish! Will recommened the fish platter!

Fish shop that provides lovely fish and chips the curry sauce was tasty, I made the mistake of asking for a fish lot which went like tumbleweed but the food and service excellent

This restaurant is permanently closed. It’s a shame that the owner hasn’t made this clear on this site

Muy lentos. Esperamos media hora entre primero y segundo sin disculpa alguna. Debian de tener algun problema pero no avisaron. Poco profesuonales. Comida bien pero caro

We had terrific food. Best meal we had on a 2 week trip through the West of Scotland, mix of traditional and clearly original cuisine, 10/10

Lovely food and a pleasant atmosphere. Had a wonderful 2 course meal which I couldn’t fault. great service from Chloe and Jess who were very friendly and informative regarding the menu.

Dining room was very cold, over priced for what we ordered. The half lobster was served cold with a very boring bulked up salad with no dressing, was disapointed to find the dressed crab to be served in a plastic shell not in natural shell, was not fresh Crab, The burger was raw in the middle, would have been nice to have had fries with burger. Our whole experience was very disappointing sadly won't be returning.

A wonderful location for dining. We came for dinner. Limited menu and apparently it was too difficult to swap chips for potatoes . Very poor.

Lovely food that we have been wanting to try for a while, attentive and friendly service, book to avoid disappointment.

Great place to get Fish & Chips. Quality is excellent and staff really nice. We visit every time, when in Aviemore. Take away or in-dining available.
