Very friendly and helpful staff. Following a recommendation, I ate the classic version of fish & chips, which was really very good and filling. I would go back at any time.

Female member of staff at the bristo square stall was so rude and horrible, completely put me off ever giving them my money again.

I took my mum, gran and sister on a tour round Glasgow and we all loved it. The food, service and views were fantastic!! And you can bring your own alcohol so we enjoyed a bottle of wine with our delicious food. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant and nice atmosphere. My oysters didn’t seem right I ordered Whole lobster thermidor at £68. Very disappointed. It wasn’t whole. This lobster had no claws. It was dry and served on it own on a plate with a side tin of fries. No garnish to dress it up or make it look special. I didn’t complain because it would ruin the evening Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend The bottle of Rioja was nice. My wife’s dish looked lovely.

First meal here in Edinburgh from the USA and i am so happy with this experience! Their bread appetizer amazing great quality bread and their 3 dips. my boyfriend and I decided to play it safe with the Haddock and chips. The flavor and freshness of The Haddock and the chips were a great choice but I wish I hadn’t played it safe, I feel like I missed out on other amazing dishes. Definitely will be back!

Wonderful! Very sophisticated! Try the locally made vodka. Share two small plates and a main.. plenty for two people!

We had a pleasure visiting this place recently and what a great experience it was. We knew what we wanted to order upfront - the Big Matt Burger. Yeah-yeah, it’s a steakhouse. But OMG, this burger is worth all the awards it had. It’s just that good. Starters were plentiful and tasty as well. The place is nice and the service was very welcoming and laid back. It’s located in the building built in early 20th century which used to be the Scottish Bank. Built to mimic the style old American banks. Overall inside it very stylish and while you wait for your order you can definitely enjoy the interior. Do I recommend? Yes! Will I come back or try it in other places? Yes to that as well.

Wow wow wow! Ondine at Seaton House was the most fabulous experience. Firstly the setting, sea views in a beautifully decorated room. It’s comfortable, sophisticated but super welcoming as well. The food is Roy Brett’s usual perfection. We enjoyed a range of seafood and beef all cooked and presented beautifully. Finally, the staff are charming and super professional. Shout out to Craig and Roy for looking after us so well. Most definitely worth the trip north to St Andrews. And look forward to coming back soon.

The location is outstanding. The food is mediocre at a horrendous price. This is not what one would recommend. We're not going back there, and as I understand from friends, they're not doing so either. Go to Carlton Hill, take in the view, and then eat somewhere nice....

Llegamos temprano - primera gente sentada en el bar de ostras - y pedimos cócteles. Agradable. Nos tomamos en el ambiente - las vidrieras Tom Wilson es maravilloso. Pedimos nuestra comida. Y se sentó. Entraron otras personas y nos sirvieron, pero nos sentamos a esperar. Después de más de media hora, llamamos al camarero - ay, lo siento, un ligero retraso, su comida estará aquí en un par de minutos. Unos minutos después apareció con nuestra comida, al igual que alguien que suponemos que era el gerente. Lo siento, dijo, pero el chef no estaba contento con los mejillones así que los hizo de nuevo. Dos veces. Los mejillones toman minutos - y nunca se explicó por qué estaba descontento, pero el gerente nos dijo "si es buena comida vale la pena esperar! " No si estamos comiendo temprano - o tratando de hacerlo - porque vamos a un espectáculo. Y eso presuponía buena comida. Hubiera sido más honesto si hubieran dicho "olvidamos su pedido" o "no lo enviamos a tiempo" o lo que sea, pero entonces, por supuesto, podríamos haber pedido algo para ser compendiado. Como era, deberíamos estar encantados de que el chef pasó más de media hora cocinando un montón de mejillones para ser perfecto - suerte nosotros. Los mejillones de mi marido eran sabrosos y él estaba feliz con ellos cuando finalmente llegaron. Había pedido Pollo Balmoral - el haggis era bueno, pero el plato en general salado. La había elegido en parte porque venía con Pommes Anna. Deben estar suaves en el medio y crujientes en los bordes - la patata estaba mal cocida en el medio (crujiente debe ser en el exterior no en el medio) y las rodajas de patata en la parte superior se habían despegado, así que me dieron un puñado de patatas fritas. El "jus" claramente se había espesado -por lo tanto, no un jus- y las verduras sabían a carbonizado (que está bastante de moda) y eran difíciles de comer ya que también estaban mal cocidas. ¿Y el chef pensó que tenía un problema con los mejillones? Jugué con la idea de enviarlo de vuelta, pero entonces podríamos haber llegado tarde al show. Qué gran decepción. Hemos comido aquí antes y disfrutamos mucho.

The best Thai we’ve ever eaten! We always look for a Thai restaurant during our travels because we know the food will always be similar in taste. This place exceeded our expectations! The owner and staff were welcoming even though we didn’t have a reservation. She could have told us no seats available but she found us a spot. Literally ate there all 3 nights we were in Edinburgh. Food came out quick and hot! The staff checked on us and made sure we had a wonderful meal. The location is off the beaten path but so worth the extra steps! If possible, recommend a reservation. Thank you Auntie!!

Fui tarde y tuve un poco de rea. Encontré el lugar muy ruidoso. Había una mesa de unas 15 mujeres y era imposible llegar a ningún sitio es el espacio muy grande y no escucharlas. Una vez que se fueron, la música subió, y pedí que la bajaran. El espacio es muy grande y carece de ambiente y recibir mi factura tomó mucho tiempo, ya que parecía no haber sido ingresado en su sistema. Aunque potencialmente una hermosa vista las ventanas estaban sucias por lo que le restó placer. En general no volvería

Siamo stati sia a dicembre 2018 che novembre 2019 e ci siamo trovati bene.Personale cordiale,pulito e soprattutto buon cibo a prezzo giusto.Noi abbiamo provato tutte e due le volte panini con hamburger e patatine davvero buoni.Un saluto dall'Italia.
