Fabulous chilled evening at the Dulse Leith. Great food, great service!

Let down by poor timing and a poor cheese course. A couple of nice courses from the 6 that we had: the mussel crumpet and the trout with spiced cabbage. Please just stop serving Scottish cheese (the blue was OK, but as most cheese lovers sadly expect of Scottish cheese, the other two two were massively under ripe / not aged properly). Service; courses arrived on top of one another before we had finished eating the prior course at least twice during a tasting menu. Two other courses appeared immediately after we had finished the prior course.Too fast. Please put one waiter/waitress per table and keep a track of timing. Matched wines are an absolute rip off at £59 per head. We bought a (expensive) glass of champagne each and a full bottle of wine between two and it was still half the cost of the matched wines. Worse was that the bottle was brought to the table and we were asked if we would like to taste it whilst our aperitifs were still 80% full; another timing letdown. Also putting a default 12.5% tip on the bill automatically is taking the Mick. A tip of £27.20 is above what I would pay for well-timed service on food (10%), especially since the food and drink itself was already expensive. Another time I visited I left a cash tip as I didn't notice it had already been put on the bill. I only realised when I got home that I had paid £75 in tips; the waiting staff didn't mention a thing when they saw me leave an additional £40 in cash.

We expected more! The food was not impressive, although it is clear that they are trying! We took the menu with wine accompaniment. It's better to take a bottle of good wine separately! We won’t come for the 2nd time;(

Great experience - beautiful food, charming service and a lovely environment.

The service was top notch. Noah and Bilhal were outstanding and made us feel special. We had the Black Friday Tasting Menu. I had forgotten to put my allergies on the notes when I booked, but the chef and kitchen made special dishes to accommodate on the fly. The decor is warm and inviting with a beautiful colour palette. All in all it was a great experience. Will 100% be back!

Conclusion: you pay way too much for too little. Service: more concerned with "processes" than with the guests. No connection and make a rushed impression without paying attention to the table guests. Food: sometimes burnt, the mussel dish lay on a spongy surface, the dessert made from very simple ingredients. Cheese board (extra supplement) came with dry tasteless toast. The dishes followed each other at too rapid a pace, leaving you standing outside after an hour and a half, while we would happily dine an evening with a five-course menu. Interior and atmosphere: cozy interior with simple furniture and somewhat (too) hard wooden chairs. Overall just good with nice background music.

I don’t understand all the rave reviews for this place. My partner and I were visiting Edinburgh from London – we love seafood and wanted to treat ourselves to a special meal. Unfortunately we left disappointed and hungry. The oysters with bloody mary sauce were the only good part of the meal. The portions for the small plates and mains were laughably small. We had langoustines and got about 3 morsels of meat from them, not the juicy big langoustines you expect in Scotland. The mains were tiny with a really small amount of fish and vegetables on them. We mentioned to the server that we felt portions were too small and all they said was they’d feedback to the chef. The restaurant also had zero atmosphere or ambiance, and my partner was sat in front of a coat stand. We were still hungry when we left – not what you expect when you drop £160 on a meal for 2. We ended up going to Bon Vivant for a cheese board and wished we had dined there instead!

Every single moment of this experience was exceptional. We had the oysters, bread & truffle honey butter, spring roll, scallops, and cod. Finished off with the caramel pudding and chocolate gelato. Gabi was so knowledgeable and timed every course perfectly. Frankly, by the end of the meal, I was ready to go to war for Chef Dean and the Dulse team. 10/10.

I recently ate at Dulse, and it was such a treat. I had the oysters and the fish chowder, both of which were absolutely delicious. The seafood is super fresh, and everything pairs perfectly with their fantastic wine selection. The vibe is relaxed yet stylish, and the staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations. It’s definitely a great spot for a cozy yet top-notch seafood meal. Highly recommend!

wonderful dining experience for a very special occasion. we were lucky enough to get window seating, too! short, concise menu and a knowledgeable staff who didnt mind all my questions about the food… starters were creative and main courses really showed off the flavors of the produce. the two deserts we ordered was a wonderful combination of sweet and sour, hot and cold, soft and crunchy… a nice bottle of wine and a glass of whisky certainly helped;-)

I had a fantastic experience here last Friday for dinner. We opted for the à la carte menu which gave us the opportunity to try as many of the small plates whilst also having the lobster as our main which was a win-win. The food was fantastic and well presented. The service from the entire staff helped to make the evening more enjoyable. Their friendliness and attentiveness is the reason why I would want to return. I would personally like to thank Jenny (the GM) who has gone above and beyond. The team are very fortunate to have you and so is anyone who has the pleasure of dining with you. Thank you Dulse.

Un encantador restaurante de mariscos que engaña a sus comensales a primera vista... desde un acogedor e íntimo piso inferior, puede continuar por la escalera de caracol para ser recibido por un personal amable y un espacio para una experiencia gastronómica relajante pero excepcional. El menú degustación y los vinos maridados eran simplemente deliciosos... el personal era informativo sobre todos los cursos y vinos. El Pan Asado Shetland Cod fue el mejor plato de la noche.

Some great dishes and some really average ones. Service was fairly poor. Asked for one wine pairing but got two on the first course. I mentioned it and they took it away but didn't bring the drink I actually ordered. I asked what the specials were and was told there weren't any despite the board saying ask about specials (there were specials another staff member told us). It was way too expensive for what we got and other Dean Banks restaurants are much better. I love Haar and Dean Bank @Caledonian is pretty good.

Los platos principales se servían en una cama de cassoulet y nduja - este tiene que ser el mejor trozo de pescado que he comido ... se cocinó a la perfección; junto a esto la trucha steelhead que mi esposa eligió se cocinó maravillosamente con un sabor sublime. Asegúrese de añadir patatas o verduras al plato principal. . . Sobre los maravillosos desiertos... la pavlova de lima clave es un motín de increíbles sabores zingy. El pudín de caramelo salado con helado de chocolate fue el acabado perfecto para mí! No puedo recomendar lo suficiente y no puedo esperar a nuestra próxima visita...

An incredible fish restaurant with superlative local products. Innovative cuisine, difficult to explain, but worth trying if you love special things. I will always remember the lobster with thermidor that I tasted here! Prices appropriate to the level of the dishes.

Ni siquiera puedo elegir un plato destacado, ya que todo, desde la salsa picante de manzana cangrejo servida con las ostras hasta el vino de postre con el que terminamos la comida fue 10 / 10. Nuestros servidores eran encantadores, muy eficientes y perfectamente presentes sin ser dominantes, así que nos sentimos muy bien atendidos. También fueron capaces de ayudar con cualquier consulta que tuvimos y recomendaron ciertos vinos, etc, así que definitivamente estaban muy bien informados en el menú. ¡Como una pequeña bonificación adicional aleatoria, el jabón de manos y la loción en el inodoro de mujeres también fue un verdadero placer! The food was flawless, the atmosphere perfect and the service from Jenny was warm, friendly and wonderful.

We visited Dulse for a graduation celebration meal and from start to finish everything was perfect! We ordered from the A La carte menu and every single dish we had was stunning! I can’t even pick one stand out dish as everything from the crab apple hot sauce served with the oysters to the dessert wine we finished the meal with was 10/10. Our servers were lovely, very efficient and perfectly present without being overbearing so we felt very well looked after. They also were able to help with any queries we had and recommended certain wines etc so were definitely very knowledgeable on the menu. As a little random extra bonus the hand soap and lotion in the ladies toilet was a real treat also! Cannot fault our meal at all, definitely one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Edinburgh and we will definitely be back!

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Dulse We are currently visiting from Berlin and are passionate about good food (especially seafood). We came across Dulse on Google so decided to check it out last night. Booking was easy via the website. The moment we stepped into Dulse we were warmly greeted by the wonderful Bilal. The restaurant has a warm ambiance, a perfect blend of elegance and cosy charm, which set the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Bilal was our main server but we also had two lovely female servers who delivered our main courses to the table. Bilal was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also had a genuine passion for each dish, which made his recommendations all the more exciting. He went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful experience (bringing me an extra hot sauce because I loved it so much!) The menu highlights for us were the Cumbrian oysters (take both sauces, trust me!), the sourdough bread, the blue fin tuna and the octopus. We went for the catch of the day which was turbot (400g for both of us) with a creamy champagne sauce and all the sides!! It was a symphony of flavors that danced across the palate, balanced perfectly and cooked to absolute perfection. The chefs creativity and skill is apparent and all of the ingredients worked beautifully together and were so fresh and delicious. Despite being full, we were gently persuaded (by Bilal) to round off our meal with the decadent sticky caramel pudding and I’m so glad we did. The dessert, was the crowning glory to a delightful dining experience. The attention to detail, not only in the food but also in the décor and atmosphere, made the whole experience feel special, we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh who loves great food, wonderful service in a chilled environment. We can’t wait to come back again!

Lovely place with very nice servers! I wish we were placed upstairs as opposed to downstairs. It was very nice on the second floor. Just be aware that the bluefin tuna appetizer is very very small. As in you can eat it in one bite. It was delicious though. We also had the oysters and they were great! They had two sauces, but I would only recommend the vinaigrette as the other sauce did not pair well at all with the oysters. For my main course I ate the crawfish. The first plate I got was very underwhelming to say the least. Most of the crawfish were gray not only on the outside, but the meat as well. I ended up telling the server (which I never do) and they gave me a new and upgraded plate that was a LOT better. They also paired it with a sauce and some butter. I have never had crawfish with butter before, but it tasted amazing. I’m also happy the servers were eager to help.

After being nearly shooed away for not having a reservation (there was no one in the restaurant at the time, and hardly anyone showed up while we were there), my friend and I were met with very mediocre and expensive cod. The real redeeming aspect here was the sourdough with honey and truffle butter. Everything else was subpar

A stylish restaurant that serves creative seafood dishes. We enjoyed lunch, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Some customers brought their dogs. We recommend the mussel crumpets. It was very delicious. The bread was piping hot and very delicious. However, the calm atmosphere makes it unsuitable for families with small children.

Really just one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The space is impeccable and the staff is so excellent and welcoming. It's fine dining without the pretense. I can't recommend it enough.

We had an excellent lunch at Dulse. We opted for the tasting menu, which was amazing. The highlights were the scallops and the lobster but my favourite was the halibut. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was first class and the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere. I was the designated driver, but the other family members really enjoyed the cocktails and wine. Hope to return soon!

Nice Seafood restaurant just off Princes Street. We sat upstairs and had the 5 course tasting menu with a white Grenache wine to compliment the food. Service was excellent and the food very good.

Des prix surfaits pour pas grand chose dans l’assiette…pas d’accompagnements avec les plats. Les produits viennent d’à peine 100km mais les prix sont triplés. Belle dégustation, mais il ne faut pas avoir faim 😬

When I ordered a meal online, there was a note on their website that asked you to fill in. I wrote this as a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday, so I booked this restaurant without my husband knowing the situation. When the waiter came to introduce me, I needed to take off my contact lenses and put them back on because my eyes were uncomfortable. He didn't notice this. So there are no surprises at all, including the fact that when I ordered dessert, there was no word "happy birthday" on it. I didn't mind if he wrote it in Chinese or put a sign on it, it was fine, but it didn't feel like a celebration at all, and the table was sticky. It was super uncomfortable. There was only one dish we ordered that I thought was too salty. It was basically OK but the presentation was not as nice as the ones online.

Okay, overall a bit overpriced for what we had off the ala carte menu.

Amazing experience and food. Lunch menu was great value for money and delicious. Staff were incredible and very attentive, especially Maisy and the gentleman on the bar downstairs.

Our favorite restaurant in Edinburgh. The seafood preparations are imaginative and delicious but we were bowled over by the burrata with Isle of Wight tomatoes, salted melon and buckswheat. We loved the decoration and spaciousness of the rooms and the servers were all wonderful.

Wow! What a find in Edinburgh! Fantastic food that not only tasted superb, but was a visual feast as well. Very friendly staff that knew the menu very well, and were able to answer our questions with ease. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited on July 26th to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary (though the restaurant was unaware of that fact). We had never been to Dulse before, so we were taking a chance, but our gamble paid off in spades and we had a perfect meal worthy of the occasion. The cosy, but tasteful decor and the warmth of our welcome from Jenny made an immediate positive impression which was confirmed through every step of the meal. We knew that prospects were good when the sourdough bread arrived on the table: no scattering of slices in a basked, but a whole small loaf with delicious whipped butter. The oysters were the best that we have had for a long time: plump and almost savoury in flavour and accompanied by two unusual but exceedingly good dressings. To follow we had trout pastrami, bass crudo, octopus - delightfully tender, mussels crumpet and lobster crumpet. When we challenged each other to choose a favourite dish, we couldn’t because every mouthful was a delight. The wines and cocktails ( a special mention for the lemon meringue!) were very good and, we thought, reasonably priced. The service was perfect: courteous, informative, and non-intrusive. Thank you to all at Dulse for a wonderful, memorable meal which was excellent value. We have already booked our next visit.

this was my first time trying Dulse with my mum, we tried it as it was on the Michelin Guide and this did not disappoint. The service was absolutely lovely, really friendly staff who are attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing and great value for money as we got the lunch menu at £23pp for 2 courses - we did share the octopus which i couldn’t recommend enough and the seaweed potatoes are a lovely addition. Atmosphere and set up of the restaurant created a lovely ambiance and really ties in with the menu. Hope to be back soon! Highly recommend

Fabulous food, superb service and a very special atmosphere made our evening wonderful. Everything was delusions but the mussels dish and the scallop were especially incredible.

Wedding Anniversary meal. Fishy tasting menu was fantastic. No misses at all. The oyster tasting leaf was a revelation. My favourite was the mussels - the sauce was fantastic, deep and very tasty. Must admit my husband was quite squiffy after all the wine pairing. Will definitely go back.

The creative seafood hor d'oeuvres, exceptional fish dishes, and wonderful environment at Dulse were a highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. We heard it was a must visit and made a reservation several weeks in advance. Among our favorite dishes were the mussels buttered crumpet, roasted scallops, and champagne baked fish specials that were so well thought out in their presentation, composition, and pairings with sides. Dulse’s elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was further complemented by Aislynn's kind, attentive, and responsive service. Thank you to the Dulse team for such a delicious and memorable dinner!

Good food but surprise on the bill. We had a fish which cost 55 pounds and it didn't even come with a side dish!!!! Only a slice of fish in the sauce.... The price is exaggerated.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dulse SeafoodWine Restaurant in Edinburgh and indulging in their tasting menu. The dishes were a feast for the eyes, with beautiful presentation and enticing contrasts. Each dish was crafted to perfection, and the textures were a delight to the palate. The attention to detail extended to the plates and cutlery, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The rustic elegance of the presentation added a charming touch to the overall dining experience. Fresh elements, including fish, seafood, and herbs, adorned the dishes, enhancing their flavors. The sauces and oils were thoughtfully portioned, adding depth to each bite. The milk chocolate dessert, paired with cherries, struck a perfect balance of sweetness and was adorned with fresh green leaves, making it both intriguing and delightful. While the service was attentive, there is room for improvement in providing more detailed descriptions of the dishes and welcoming feedback. The pacing of the dishes could also be more consistent, as the timing between courses was not uniform. However, the ground floor bar provided a delightful waiting area, allowing guests to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy exceptional drinks. Overall, my experience at Dulse Seafood Wine Restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to fellow seafood and wine enthusiasts.

So good we had to return - twice in the space of a few weeks. Food and service were just as good as on our first visit. Thoroughly recommend the oysters as a little pre starter. They were so fresh and the basil dressing was delicious. Trout and mussels for starters, pan fried coley for mains. All beautifully cooked and presented. So glad we added in the beans with jalapeno and lime dressing. They were really tasty. Too full for pudding but they do serve up a very good coffee. This visit we went for the set lunch menu. It was excellent value for two courses. Another plus is the wine menu. It's not an extensive list of wine by the glass but there are some very nice choices, much better than the standard choices in some restaurants.

Well a week after the visit below, we were so impressed, we went back again and had the lunch menu. We just had the 2 course, chose starter and main. I had the mussels and the coley partner had the trout and the coley and honestly could not fault it. We had the bread with the starters and shared green beans with the mains. Recomend the green beans, they were delicous. We will make it back for the full a la carte, promise. Went here on a voucher deal (cheap skate) and have to say, really impressed. We had the taster menu and every bit of it was superb. The octopus arancini was nice and crispy on the outside yet still soft on the inside. The trout and rye bread was delicate and tender yet packed a real punch of flavour. The mussels were cooked to perfection and the cioppino was lightly spiced. The ling was firm without being overcooked and anything with crispy shallots gets my vote. I added the cheese for a change which gave a nice savoury break before the sweetness of the valrhona milk chocolate and preserved cherry. All in all, a realy good, well balanced taster menu. My partner liked the trout best, but I couldn't make my mind up, I liked it all. We saw what was on the ala carte menu and realy fancied it, especialy the sea food platter so reckon it won't be long before we're back. Deffinately recomend it.

Even though we had a reservation and there was another available place, it was a very ugly behavior that we were seated at a table on the upper floor of the restaurant, close to the stairs, directly opposite the men's toilet door. Octopus was tough and dry. The lobster was overcooked. The fish sauce was too salty. pastrami and scallops were good. Prices are too high for a restaurant of this level. Service was good.

First time here and not disappointed! Every dish cooked to perfection and served by friendly and professional staff. Couldn’t fault Dulse. Next time we are in Edinburgh we will come back.

After two weeks of travelling in the UK eating out every night we endend up at Dulse, where we had our best experience when it comes to food, service and ambiance. Nothing more to ask for! We had scallops as a starter, turbot cooked in champagne as main course and for dessert Pavlova with lemon curd. Everything was delicious and we had excellent service throughout the evening.

My wife and myself had the best meal of our two week UK holiday here in dulse restaurant. Not an extensive menu but a really excellent choice of fish dishes beautifully cooked and presented .we had lovely relaxed service from our Irish waitress. Top class.

The over all score was 4 stars but I gave each individual 5 this is because even though the service and food was excellent they were charging London prices on some cocktails. Mental. Do go though I just think they need to reassess their drink pricing.

Where to begin… if you’re ever wondering where to go for dinner while staying in Edinburgh this is THE place to go! The staff were extremely accommodating and the food was beyond compare to any seafood I’ve ever had, oysters were fresh and the daily invention of accompanying sauces were such a great combination. When I come back to Edinburgh, this is the first place I’m going back to for dinner!

From start to finish, I had the most incredible experience at Dulse. The food was absolutely incredible, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The staff were so attentive and friendly. You can not say you've explored Edinburgh, if you have not gone to this hidden gem!

Went to Dulse to celebrate my Wife's birthday, she loves seafood and if you do too then this place is a pretty good bet! Excellent food and attentive and friendly service from Laura and Thomas.

By the time my friend and I strolled by this restaurant on our food tour, we were both quite stuffed. We ordered octopus, bass crudo, and scallops because we craved seafood. The portions are small, serving as appetizers. They were so fresh and divine. Cocktails are spot-on. Tommy is awesome.

I ate as a solo diner and this was a lovely experience! A beautiful meal with superb service. The Trout Pastrami was delicious - simple. delicate and beautifully presented. I then had the Cod which was a fine balance of great flavours. It was suggested that I have the Seaweed potatoes which I did and I’m so glad I did. I could have had a bowl of those on their own! The service was attentive but discreet and not in your face asking if you’re enjoying your meal 10 seconds after it’s been presented. The menu was explained by someone who cared what they were telling me - not just going through the motions! Highly recommend.

Tidy clean restaurant with amazing staff who were so warm and welcoming since the moment me and my friends stepped in. food was quick to arrive to the table everything tasted fresh and nice. I highly recommend the pavlova dessert, that is a must have. shout out to the Manager Milosz who is overlooking this amazing restaurant and this amazing staff.

Wowee! This is one gorgeous seafood restaurant here in Edinburgh! Every single course was made with finesse, I am really happy that we tried most of the venue, along with the fabulous desserts. If you're in the mood for seafood, then Dulse should definitely be on your radar. Tip: book ahead, this place can get busy during the weekend!

Although it was quite expensive, I was able to eat delicious seafood. The waiter tried his best to explain, but it was unfortunate that I couldn't understand it because of his strong English accent.

Walking in from the street it displays a lovely bar and quite a few tables seating perhaps 20-25 people. This areas focus is an intimate wine and cocktail bar serving small sharing plates but ascend the staircase at the back and you find yourself in Dulse, the seafood restaurant. This space opens up into a gorgeous medium sized room that’s light and bright with large windows bringing as much of the skyline inside as possible and if you are lucky enough, you’ll get our seat with views right up to the Castle. The seaside decor is understated with pale wood, turquoise blue tones incorporated through glassware, the colour of the accent wall and picked up in the tablemats that are made from recycled plastic that has been recovered from our oceans. Shells, coral and general maritime objects fill spaces and corners, giving a very relaxed and welcoming vibe. When you’re not just staring out this window at the view and blue skies you’ll be tucking into some great seafood. The menu consists mostly of small plates to share with a section of five large main dishes. They also have a Day Boat Special with specials like Lemon Sole, Langoustines and Lobster. We decided to order small plates enabling us to try more of this fabulous menu. We started off with a colourful carousel of Cumbrae Oysters, 2 of each - natural, Cucumber and Jalapeno and Bloody Mary. The oysters were properly cleaned, loosened at the foot and none were milky. A fab start. I loved too that we were given proper two pronged oyster forks! The Trout Pastrami with rye bread and creme fraiche was beautiful and delicate. Melted like butter and I loved the contrast of textures when placed atop the rye bread. I just wish I had ordered this plate to myself. Lobster Crumpet with citrus brown butter. All the butter had soaked into the crumpet making it just ooze with goodness at every bite. This was a nice wee dish. I wanted it to be outrageously good but it was just nice. Nothing necessarily wrong with it, I just felt it could have done with a bit more punch! Half Shell Scallop - This dish was a beaut. You know my love affair with scallops, well this just took it to another level. Scallop dripping in Dulse de Paris Butter equals one very happy Adele. Although the scallop will always and forever sit atop my food pedestal, this was my favourite dish of the day. Scottish Creel Caught Langoustine Tails in a pumpkin and coconut soup. Oh my gosh this was superb - I really did want to lick the bowl clean! The sweet give of the langos against the smooth creamy delicious yumminess of the pumpkin. Gimme gimme gimme. This bowl of Singapore Style Mussels was so vibrant. The sauce was quite thick coating the mussels and getting into every nook and cranny of the shell and mussel. Tangy from the tomatoes and zingy with a hint of heat. Another great bowl of food. Not all the mussels had opened up and some shells still had barnacles on, but we discarded these. Another dish that was sunshine and happiness on a plate. Octopus, burnt tomato and citrus barley. The octopus was so beautifully cooked that if you were blindfolded you’d never have known that it was octopus you were eating. It was succulent, soft and meaty. The burnt tomato sauce was incredible. These Dulse seaweed potatoes are a must order. Dessert was Cheese of the Day with truffle honey madeleines and a Vanilla set cream with cherries, basil oli and brittle. The Cheese course was delicious. A large amount of cheese was served with what I claim is a stroke of genius, warmed through madeleines that had been dipped in truffle honey. Sweet foodie heaven above! The Set Cream dessert was very light and a nice way to end lunch. For me the basil oil was too overpowering though and I felt it really dulled the flavour of the cherries. Maybe less oil would be better. I still ate it though! Dulse is well worth a visit and if you are a Seafood lover, there is no way you are leaving disappointed. More on www.tartanspoon.co.uk

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. I was blown away on all fronts. Ondine is a beautiful restaurant but also delivered some pretty beautiful and delicious food! Service was top notch too. Highly recommend!

Solid (if not overly exciting) cooking. Nice atmosphere and expert service. A bit overpriced for what it is but a pleasant experience overall

The restaurant is very nice and cozy. Staff is nice and welcoming. The quality of the food is very good but there were a few negative points that affected my judgement. Once ordered the wine it took quite some time to have it served to our table (food in the meantime already arrived) All the dishes were based on fish and the quality was very good, however for my taste there were some strange food combinations. There was excessive usage of sauce and the lobster was served with grated cheese on top. The check at the end was quite high. So in general everything was good, but for that price you would expect better experience.

The place offers a fine dining type of experience in a cosy environment. The staff was polite and eager to help. The dishes are interesting and well prepared. For this price, I would, however, expect something more impressive and tasteful. Loved the oysters and the pinot grigio.
