Amazing spot next to a wonderful beach! Me and my 7 year old came down for a wee walk around and then realised how lovely the beach was and how nice the day was so went back and got my wife and 2 year old. Had a flat white the first time I was there and served by a very friendly lady had a little chat about her menu. Tacos aren’t something you can find anywhere in Dunbar so when I returned later my wife we got the beef tacos and a few tins of juice and I have to say there where absolutely lovely! The kind lady (owner I think) also brought them down onto the beach for us while I was setting up with our young ones! 100% will be back again and telling people about you guys! Keep up the great work!

We went with another couple for lunch on a Saturday. Our food was delicious - we had opted for the set menu - in fact I would say that there were some of the best fish dishes I have had for a while. They have a wide ranging (if a bit expensive) wine list. The restaurant was not full at prime time for a weekend lunch which was surprising. The person who served us was efficient but could have been a bit more welcoming and friendly.

We very much enjoyed an amazing platter for two. A whole prepared lobster, champagne lobster pate, dressed crab, prawn cocktail, smoked salmon, hot smoked salmon, a box of super Greek salad, oatcakes, crusty bread. It was beautifully presented and delivered on a covered platter. Enough amazing food to last us a couple of days. Highly recommend all their products, produced by a small family business.

Great food, excellent service! The lad at the counter was so very nice and helpful, got the best fish and chips I've ever had (though I'm a tourist and haven't had that many) portion was huge and just for £12.5 only downside is that there is only one table inside right by the frying station, but there is bench outside and it was actually quite nice to eat there

I took my mum, gran and sister on a tour round Glasgow and we all loved it. The food, service and views were fantastic!! And you can bring your own alcohol so we enjoyed a bottle of wine with our delicious food. Highly recommend!

Volveremos.

First meal here in Edinburgh from the USA and i am so happy with this experience! Their bread appetizer amazing great quality bread and their 3 dips. my boyfriend and I decided to play it safe with the Haddock and chips. The flavor and freshness of The Haddock and the chips were a great choice but I wish I hadn’t played it safe, I feel like I missed out on other amazing dishes. Definitely will be back!

Female member of staff at the bristo square stall was so rude and horrible, completely put me off ever giving them my money again.

Gutted because this was my favourite chippy in Edinburgh but it appears to have closed. Cannot find a listing for it anymore on JustEat etc and was shut last time I went past.

I made a reservation here for dinner during my trip, and I think it was truly a great choice. I wanted to have seafood, and I was able to enjoy it in various ways. Every dish I ordered was absolutely delicious. It was such a happy moment to have such a wonderful time during my trip. I especially want to mention that the staff were incredibly friendly and gentle, which made the experience even better.

I took my foreign city boy work colleague for a run in the car today, as we do on Sundays. He likes driving through small Scottish towns with old cottage buildings and country views. Stuff locals over look 😂 We stopped at coias for a coffee. The couple who I assume own the cafe were very polite and welcoming. The coffee is perfect here and the cafe is spotless. Beautifully polished tables and great service. We respected the ladies blunt honesty when my colleague got hungry and asked if pork was cooked beside other meat (although he’s partial to Greggs festive bake 🤫) and she said everything goes into the same fryer. Most chippies tell porkies… yup, see what I did there? 😂 The cafe has a retro Italian vibe to it and my pal agreed with that as he grew up in Italy. They probably serve the best coffee in the whole of West Lothian.
