The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Ordered food online, took my money. Time for delivery came and went. I went to the takeaway......closed. checked bank statements, money gone. Mmmmmm, great chippy if you want to loose weight, you dont get the food but you certainly pay for it.

Brilliant location and building. The guy running it was amazing. Good and drinks excellent- we had pizzas - which were really good. His family members were helping and that added to a great atmosphere. Just great.

Our 3rd visit in 3 years was last week and it was the best yet! We'd been twice before when staying close by in Whitby and loved it so much we made it a 3rd time despite staying an hour away in Helmsley. I had the dressed crab and my husband had the fish and chips and my crab was absolutely the best I've ever had and the best meal we've had there. Creamy, tasty, so well prepared that not the merest fragment of shell was in it and he loved his fish. Excellent warm and friendly welcome and service. Top marks all round. We'll be back!

The tea rooms are in a stunning location and make a great destination for a walk. We walked up from the car park in Lynmouth, it's a about 2 miles along the path. The walk was lovely along side the river which is a fast flowing stream. The path is challenging in places and a little rugid. But having a great destination drives you on. Great staff and good food. One highlight was seeing a Dipper (a small rare bird).

Food was ok, it was very very clean and the staff where very helpful and friendly. Definitely would come back. Great views of the sea.

This was easily the best Mexican meal we've ever had. The portion size was brilliant and the flavours were amazing, really good, fresh food. We will definitely return next time we are visiting. The staff were lovely too.

Hice un pedido para una entrega de Blue Fin, que hemos utilizado antes. Sin embargo, esta vez entregaron solo una parte del pedido, y cuando me puse en contacto con ellos se negaron a completar el pedido. Esto dejó a mis hijos hambrientos. Dijeron que tenía que quejarme a través de la empresa de entregas, y el servicio al cliente no era importante para ellos, ya que tenían muchos otros clientes.

Well like all the many other reviews this place is HUGELY overpriced ! and the food is worse than a prison meal ! The main photos of them lovely long chips and thick fish with batter is NOT what is being served ! £24+ for 2 cod + chips. The 'cod' if there actually was any inside the overcooked batter ! The batter was overcooked and tastless. No tissues given, just sheets of greaseproof paper, like the old school toilet rolls. The chips were all small, burnt or what you'd find in the corner of a well used fryer ! The seating is terrible as you need to wedge your body in and out of the tiny gaps at the tables. This was 'supposed' to be a memorable meal ! Totaly ruined ! We were so angry the food quality was disgusting and we had paid over £24 for it ! We almost got charged 50p !!!!! for a small sachet of tomato sauce. If so many people are reviewing the same 1 star about the food quality and lack of fish.....SORT it out ! Stop ripping people off !

Fish &chips was excellent. Friendly service. Thankyou. Highly recommend we will eat here again. Only £9 for large fish & chips. Great value.

Excelente comida y servicio, buena selección de comida y cócteles en el menú. El personal era excelente, especialmente Sam que era muy acogedor y amable. Sin duda volveremos a visitar pronto!

A tail end of a fillet , how this can be called large cod i would love to know , for the price this isn’t good enough. Disappointing

I have been a loyal customer of Fiveways Fish and Chip Shop for years and always enjoy their food but after my experience on Saturday afternoon, I will not be returning. As I walked in, I saw who I assume was the owner berating two young employees at the front of the shop. It was uncomfortable to witness, and it was clear that the girls felt the same. I understand that mistakes happen, but there is a time and place for addressing them—publicly humiliating staff in front of customers is not it. A good business should treat its employees with respect, and unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning.

went in the other day ,for the same order regular below £5 , paid on card a few times , now the woman that worked there a long time tells me unless i spend £5 or above i can not pay on my card , wont spend much in here now THANKS

Muy frito y grasiento. Nunca antes había patatas fritas semimaltrechas como esta. No podía comer todo esto y sentí que podría haber tenido un ataque al corazón

Nice big fish well cooked. Lovely chips and scraps. Potato scallops were nice and generous. Peas were tasty as were the battered sausages. 1 star removed as they were very expensive but that seems to be the way things are going these days.
