Fab, fab, fab. Went for lunch today. Lobster (caught that day just around the headland), chips, salad and corn 🌽. Absolutely perfect. Owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. Location is superb. Wine/beer/drinks menu extensive. Can't recommend it enough.

A truly brilliant place, way above the average culinary level of Weymouth. Small but solid drinks menu, high class in the specials food menu that was a nice extension of the default menu. Kitchen delivered in full. The absolute gem though was the waitress Tara who made our evening out so great, she was so energetic and funny and all of us loved her.

We opted for the early evening tasting menu - fewer courses and a bit cheaper than the main evening meal, but very good . Excellent service. The timing (eating at 6pm) suited us perfectly on this particular visit.

5 of us visited here having had positive experiences in this restaurant in the past. Their motto is tomorrow’s fish is still in the sea and you can taste the freshness in the fish. We ordered the tinned starters which were tuna, mackerel and sardines in various oils served with fresh bread, delicious! That was followed by sea bass as a main from the daily catch list. The others shared a lobster and the little one had fish goujons which she completely demolished. A fresh, aromatic bottle of white wine and outstanding service from Kayleigh made for an excellent meal.

Truly excellent fish and chips, some of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately restaurant was closed due to staff shortages, and there was a long queue for takeaways. But worth the wait.

This really is our fav fish and chip shop. Excellent quality as usual, tasty as always. Would recommend to anyone

Revisited recently, still damn fine fish and chips and the curry sauce was bliss too, in the past we used a competitors shop, after poor service this is our goto fish and chips

As visitors to the area, we ordered take away fish , chips and mushy peas. The service and friendliness of the staff was welcoming. I have scored the food 5 star as the food was excellent. It was freshly cooked, while we waited. The chips were crisp outside with fluffy potato inside, grease free. The fish was beautifully white encased in a light , crisp batter. A meal highly recommended.

disappointing fish was like a min-cod and we pay good money expect better chips ok

Very nice , clean , smart building , tried the Turbot for main , with saute potatoes & veg , as i told the chef , probably the blandest meal i had all weekend , what a let down .

Fantastic fresh oysters (I went twice for them!) and reasonable prices. Unfortunately there aren’t many staff and when it’s busy, which is to be expected on a nice day, you can expect quite a long wait to order/be served your food.

Wait was to long for just a portion of chips regular when they were contacted on orders when all I wanted was chips to long to long to long half an hour wait out of season

Two young kids served me, this was when my kids were young. They gave mouldy green cod. Think they were racist. Ruined the family's last night at haven.
