Food very good. The girls out the front wher nice and friendly. But the guy who was friying had a very bad attitude very aggressive

went there twice while on holiday in Wyke the first visit we couldn't fault but the second the fish was very greasey and chips over cooked

Bloody lovely, battered sausage n chips, luxury steak pie n chips curry sauce and fishcakes, hot the spot! Also had apple fritters for Halloween, ordered 2 portions as thought there'd only be 1 in a portion for £1, 4 fritters per portion, and they were delicious! Even got breakfast now too!

It's not really a place to worry about the atmosphere, but the food was delicious and would definitely go back for more.

The best fish, chips & peas ever. I messed up the order on line and Daniel sorted it for me. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We went to Billy's Winters Beach Bar a couple of days after and had fish n Chips, it was no where near as good as Daniels.

The food is so good here...very nice.

Had a delivery 6th May 2023, in the delivery were two large fish, no fish just batter. The takeaway was from the Wyke Regis branch, very disappointed having spent £50, will be awhile before we buy from Daniel's again.

Food lovely and fresh, prices not too bad considering the taste and freshness. Chip portions are shocking! A "large bag" is just a small tray. Not good when trying to feed a family 😐

Had the usual fish n chips with a few extras whilst away with the family. Very good, price ok, everything eaten and family very happy. Ended up going there again a few days after the first visit. Parking a bit manic due to the other takeaways nearby but not really a problem.

Small chips £3 large cod just under £10 at nearly £13 for take away fish & chips to be able to feed yourself your have to not pay your television license to watch the rubbish on there & go to prison & get free bed & lodgings

We use to use them quite often but won’t be rushing back. Not sure if new staff or ownership but the portions were the smallest I’ve ever seen. The chips barely covered the polystyrene tray, a child’s portion at other local chip shops is near double the size of these adult ones.

Really enjoyed all our food - huge cod and haddock, lovely crusp batter, nice scampi, good mushy peas. Friendly service too.

Nice but large chips are not what I would say is large.

Expensive for kids food and did not even get a drink with the kids meal. Don't really like the queuing system as it was a long wait for a kids meal when there was a sausage already in the heaters

What an absolute shambles! Food not too bad when you eventually get it, but I've tasted better. Girls on front counter need a rocket up their backsides and one in particular needs to worry less about breaking a nail and get the job done. In fact having her nails cut might be an idea!

Awful! Worst fish and chips I had in years. Miserable staff especially the chef with cooking to match, dry overcooked fish and even the saveloy sausage was over cooked and dry!

First time I’ve visited this Fish and Chip shop. Place looked clean, staff polite and friendly. Fish was cooked to perfection and it was very tasty, thoroughly enjoyed my fish. As for the chips, instead of a tasty portion of chips it seems like I got most of the hard scrapings. There were a few decent chips but like a lot of chippy’s, chips look anaemic, not tasty at all.

Normally very good, but last night poor cod very little fish and poor batter hard and oily. This is the first time we have had poor fish from here so let’s hope it’s the only time.

Stopped here last night as was in area by far the best bit of fish I've ever had from a chippy yes I was by the sea and normally over 90mins away from the coast but I would seriously recommend this place

I ordered on-line for click and collect and the whole process was quick and easy. The order was ready exactly on time and it was great to have everything hot and fresh. The fish and chips were great. I will definitely be returning.

Absolute shambles staff need training as don't know what they are doing. Orders are slow and take at least 30 to be served... If you want your food quicker cook it yourself. If I could give less stars I would

Can be hit and miss, all depends who's being the fryers. Daniels do offer a local delivery service which is a bonus. However unsure on the spend requirements.

It was the closest chip shop to where I was staying and am I glad. Fish and chips. The fish was a large one with nice crispy batter and lovely flakey fish inside. Chips were good as well but overshadowed by the perfect fish. I will go back when in the area.

Generous portions! Lovely fresh fish. Tasty batter. The homemade tartare sauce is very good. Well done - highly recommend.

While visiting family in the area, heard from both family and friends that this takeaway was well worth trying. OMG...you must be joking. If this food outlet is in the top half of options for Weymouth, God help those beneath it. The haddock was so overcooked, it was inedible and the chips weren't much better. Not a cheap meal these days so I would suggest try anywhere else

Started well... Friendly service that went down hill after a 20 minute wait for food. I like to know if I'm going to have to wait this long. And when I point out it was a long wait, I'd expect an apology, not excuses. Poor training for young staff. Food was average Shame.

Freshly cooked fish and chips. I had the haddock & wifey had the cod, both cooked to perfection. Add proper chips and mushy peas, all piping hot and generous helpings.

Called in as it's very close to the campsite we were using. Very friendly and efficient service from the staff, definitely top marks on that score. Food was hot and tasty too. What let's them down is the portion sizes, just seemed a bit on the small side.

Some of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted, highly recommended. Packed in cardboard boxes. Good friendly service.

From the minute you walk in the door the place is well decorated and clean.Food was cooked to order as they had just opened for the evening.Batter was lovely and clearly cooked in clean oil. Crisp and tasty , served in a box rather than paper.Chips made with proper potatoes , and cooked well.We had large Cod and Chips twice , both pieces were lovely and large. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal which we took back to the camp site and was still hot when we got there , 5-10 min journey.Guy behind the counter was great , tall guy and couldn’t be friendlier , kept me informed about how long things would be and told me the history of the shop and it’s decor.Will return here for some more without fail.

Had pea and pineapple fritters and Chips. Batter on the fritters was perfect. Worker (Jason) was very polite and cheery. Good size portions, value for money. Everything cooked fresh.well worth the waiting time. Could not ask for anything more. Definitely 5*

Went there early evening on the way back to the caravan. Decided to stop for a family treat. There's ample parking as it's in a line of shops. We ordered, then waited outside due to COVID regulations. Could see how slowly the staff were moving; no rush whatsoever to get food out! Took forever, with a whole group of customers waiting, and waiting. Once we got the food the fish didn't look like Cod, and was a 'mush' rather than flaky white (as you'd expect it to be near the sea). It was also unnaturally greasy. The chips were okay, but there weren't that many of them. All in all, we decided not to return.

I visited on the evening of the 12/7/2020 at around 8pm. The place was fairly busy (not massively though). The wait for a burger and chips was over 20 minutes. A bit too long for, "fast food" freshly prepared or not. The problem however was the attitude of the young female staff members. When I enquired as to how much longer the wait would be, I was met with a very curt and rude response. Whilst I of course appreciate that staff will find busy times stressful, I do not think that excuses rudeness towards customers. I will not visit again and would advise others to AVOID THIS PLACE.

It clearly states on the website that you need to place your order online and pay by card, you are then given a time to collect. It also states that orders taken this way will have priority over walk ins. This is not so, I arrived at 3 mins before my collection time to stand behind a large queue whom it soon became obvious were walk-ins, being served as they became first in the queue. Therefore all getting their fresh fish supper immediately and paying by cash! By the time I got to the front of the queue and went into the shop I was completely ignored whilst thy made up further orders, I had to interrupt them to ask if my order was ready, it was in a box in the warm cabinet where it had been sitting for some time, not great service!

Beautifully cooked fish and chips from Portland Road tonight. I often use the Littlemoor shop always good.

Bought fish and chips here on Friday 13th March in the evening.........fish good quality but what a stingy portion of chips...........not very good value for the price! Will give this chip shop one more try and if doesn’t improve will go to Bennett’s Chip shop as always good value.

3.99 just for jumbo sausage and chips. Rip off!

Went on a Sunday evening so the food was all cooked fresh which obviously took longer but was well worth the wait. Always good stuff from Daniels.

Used to like there fish and chips but my last visit the fish was raw I couldn't take it back as weather conditions was very bad but emailed them didn't even get a reply so wont be using again
