Great food fresh and hot. Can get very busy but You can ring up and order. Cash only.

Has changed ownership and the portions are smaller, the food is not as good (chips were almost inedible) and they really put up a fight if you try and pay by card.

Th delivery person was very customer friendly. The Princes' Fish and Chips were very tasty and cooked to perfection.

This place has really gone downhill. Used to be great but our latest order you could tell had been sat there all day (we ordered Sunday evening). The food was incredibly dry, the chips shrivelled they were that old, the battered sausage was like chewing on a boot and the curry pots have since shrunk in size. The worst bit though was that we didn’t realise until we returned home that one of our fish orders was off. As soon as we opened the box it absolutely stank, how they didn’t notice this themselves beggars belief, either that or the staff just simply don’t care. Rancid smelling fish so had to bin the lot. Complete waste of money.

Walked from Clifton to try here this Friday lunchtime and was not disappointed........Ordered a large fish and large chips with gravy to share.................It was cooked to order in less than 10 minutes and was just perfectly cooked;. The batter was crispy, the fish so fresh and the chips really hit the spot and the two us couldn't manage the lot....The gravy was really thick and tasty too, Albie was most obliging, even placing the order on a handy carry out tray for us......The glass covered frontage eating area was very cosy on a zero degree day......... A few regulars came and went as we were enjoying....we'll be back too..........

Only come here if you have a spare 20 minutes as it’s very slow. Food is great though

I paid £12 and received a beautiful cocoon the size of a plump infant! Simple and cheap, yet always fresh and delicious — if that's something you appreciate, I can highly recommend this place. The staff is really friendly too! I live in Southville but I have on many occasions walked an hour and a half uphill to get to this holy grail of a chippie. Every time my friend comes to visit me from Budapest we would go eat here and I'm starting to think this is his actual destination. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Me senté y pedí 2 papas fritas grandes. Aunque estaba bien cocido, nunca había visto un pescado "grande" tan pequeño y tenía una docena de papas fritas de lado. No es lo que esperarías de un chippy. Se fue sintiendo hambriento y se sintió estafado dado el precio. No volverá.

Superb Chinese food. I always buy my takeaway from here and I am never disappointed. Delicious with a huge menu and great variety. Friendly staff and a fast and efficient service..... Happy....!

My wife pop in and ordered 2 chow meins which I was very disappointed with to say the least. Firstly the one I had was the special chow mein which was very dry and bland , there were no pawns in it either . Worst chow mein I've had . No flavour whatsoever. Will avoid using this chip shop in future.
