The best restaurants serving Seafood food in North West

Nipped in to get some tea before my partner went to work, nice fast service, albeit forget the fish, but no issues at all I called up and within ten minutes had gone absolutely above and beyond to replace the fish and the portions of chips so we had warm chips with the fish. Cannot fault service at all, portion sizes are great as well the one we used to use has increased prices and decreased portions but good prices and good portions here too.

I don't recommend this place. They take far too long to serve (isn't chippy supposed to be fast food?). There is a huge thick plastic barrier separating customers from the staff (what are they afraid of?) and they put on minimal amounts of salt and vinegar (when it's asked for). You have no way of reaching for the salt n vinegar because it's hidden away (like a precious treasure trove would be hidden). Fish and chips were OK, nothing special. If you want proper good chippy, go to St Anne's on the Sea. It seems that getting good fish n chips in the UK now is increasingly difficult. Just another symptom of a country in decay I'm afraid

We had a long layover at Manchester Airport traveling from the USA at the end of April to Spain, so we were sent to this shop for fish n chips by a local. It is the best fish n chips we ever had, and the people that run this place are the nicest people you will ever meet anywhere. They went above and beyond with the hospitality they gave us. Yes, it cost us many ££££ in taxi fare to get to this shop from the airport. It was well worth it, and next time we are in UK, we will definitely stop by again. It's nice to support local hard-working owners who take great pride in what they serve. No wonder they have so many repeat customers. Mahomed (USA)

Well what can I say, after hunting around for a bite to eat the four of us stumbled on Finesse Fish and Chips. We ordered the medium and large fish chips and mushy peas. The fish was fresh and cooked in front of us and was bigger than the plate . The fish was flakey delicious and the chips were spot on . Do not hesitate to go to Finesse and the owner(I think) was friendly helpful and professional. Thank you and will definitely be back .

Best Tomahawk I’ve ever eaten! The fact that it comes out on a hot stone and you can cook it in your own time to your own liking is just amazing! Really good quality meat, well seasoned and easy to cut. We both had one and really enjoyed them! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu when we visit again. Super friendly staff too.

The food was superb. Beautifully cooked. Front of house was attentive without being intrusive. We had a lovely dinner and thought it was reasonably priced for the quality & presentation.

Excellent food, great service, value for money, lovely atmosphere. This is my second visit and I will definitely return again. The tapas is amazing and big portions. Alex served us and was very polite and helpful. The food came out quickly and the service was great. Thank you for a lovely evening

Wow how the mighty have fallen. What was a local treasure is now an expensive joke £10_70 gets you small cold and chips. Fish over cooked and greasy. Chips literally looked like the bottom if the basket hard small bits of potatoes with 4 or 5 actual chips When they advertise lunch time £6 for the same meal. What a rip off

1st time I’ve been (I’m not local) as I used the Park and Ride Merseyrail. Decided to try it when I got off the train. Wow, absolutely fantastic, beautifully cooked and excellent value. (Fish and chips). Thank you.

We were a party of six for dinner. We all thought the food was excellent and we had chosen a variety of different dishes from the interesting menu. I thought my Monk Fish and Scallops was particularly tasty. The service was also great and friendly. It all made for a very pleasant evening out.
