A really great chippy, bear in mind always a queue

Very busy but very well, run so no weighting around. food is great with large variety from great fish and chips to lovely Chinese food. Would recommend to all.

I've been going to this chippy for nearly 20 years but the past 6 months their has been a massive decline in quality, I don't know what they gave done to their gravy but it's awful and had to throw it away, the salt and pepper chips are bland with no flavour so disappointed

Great service & staff fish & chips amazing everytime also Chinese available also great highly recommended Telephone orders accepted too Unfortunately no delivery service but still worth collecting

The chicken kebab is absolutely amazing!! Deffo going back for more. Closes early if not too busy, so get there early. Has a pager system also, go for a quick pint whilst your food is being prepped. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Nice staff even when very busy, like a well oiled machine for efficiency sorting the orders. Lovely fish & chips not to mention the curry sauce.

Some of the best service I've ever received, first few times they meet you they'll ask your name and before you know it youre on first name basis and they'll know your go to order, always friendly conversation by everyone. Quick service with quality fish and chips.

Clean well organised good prices had large kebab told it would be in a nan bread but it was a wrap meat was good but wrap that saturated in fat couldn't eat it will go again but try Chinese dish

Quick, fresh and very tasty for the majority of the 4 meals we had. Also, a LOT of food for the money. Only criticism would be that the ribs were a bit dry and chewy - salt and pepper chips were YUMMY. Would definitely recommend.

Just picked up a salt and pepper box quite dissapointed as ive always seen such good reviews the salt and pepper chips had no taste whatsoever and the salt and pepper chicken well it was pink and soggy will not be getting waste of money and gone straight in the bin

Great Chinese food the chicken fo Yong is lovely and the Singapore chow main is fantastic as well the salt and pepper ribs please try them is the best Chippy in Lancaster and good size portions as I am from Liverpool I know my food I’ve travelled around for great food ! And the staff are very friendly all ways welcoming when you go there as I said it’s the best Chippy in Lancaster stay away from the sweet and sour Chippy on the next block 👉 5***** 👌

We have come here for years on & of for fish & chips or a Chinese meals. The Chinese lady taking the orders is excellent. They kept open through covid, via a bleeper system which work great & still does if you want to stand outside if really busy. A very good all round takeaway, never had a poor meal. Always piping hot. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Torrisholme Fisheries.

Unable to get serve unless I had to wait over 30 mins which I felt was not good enough

A very positive experience, polite phone conversation and collection experience, food prepared quickly, mega box presented very well, spaced out and not crammed in. All very tasty and the whole family enjoyed it. We will be back again, thank you.

It's a chippy. What else do Google expect you to say about a chippy? It sells chips & fish. If this can't be worked out from what sort of shop it is I don't know how a review can help. All other opinions about the place are completely subjective & hence absolutely irrelevant.

The Gravy Tasted Like Fish Taste and Chips Where half cooked and a hell of a lot of grease on the paper I will never eat from hear again. Waste of money Really bad Pigs will eat anything.

The scampi is exceptional every time, and the salad box is always crisp and fresh

Been coming here for years now! Very friendly staff, always helpful and efficient. Only ever had one minor mishap where they forgot the curry sauce, however the gave us discount on our next visit. Best chippy around in my opinion.

Absolutely horrible. Won't go again. Warned up chips and all bits. They tasted rank like old potatoes. Only managed a hand full. My dogs wouldn't even try them. This was a Friday dinner time.

As per normal the fisheries, was excellent. Lightly battered fresh fish cooked to perfection.

You have no trouble placing your order over the phone & Staff are very friendly and good at there job. We always have lovely Fish & Chips, curry.

Excellent food, friendly staff and for covid safety a great pager system so you can wait outside and know when your order is ready.

My favourite Chinese for last 10 years .but after the meal I just had won't be going back . No taste in either mine or wife's food and I got a big long hair in it . So disappointed 😞
