Really tasty fish and chips. Very reasonably priced and waiting times were fine Will be going again.

We had a very nice fish and chip supper.

Huge fillet of fish with excellent chips and delicious mushy peas. Quick service and friendly staff. Everything was 100% spot on.

First time coming here, always wanted to try it. Oh my gosh I'm glad I did, had cod fish it was huge and batter was lovely, light & crispy. Chips were well cooked and the gravy is delicious. 10/10 and definitely will be back!

We had a long layover at Manchester Airport travelling from the USA end of April to Spain so we were sent to this shop for fish n chips by a local. It is the best fish n chips we ever had and the people that run this place are the nicest people you will ever meet anywhere. They went above and beyond with the hospitality they gave us. Yes it cost us many ££££ in taxi fare to get to this shop from the airport, it was well worth it and next time we are UK, we will definitely stop by again. It's nice to support local hard working owners who take great pride in what they serve. No wonder they have so many repeat customers. Mahomed (USA)

I've not had a chippy tea for a long time, and I've not been to this chippy for ever longer. Just getting over the flu I couldn't be bothered cooking so thought I'd go for Fish & Chips. It was a great decision, Im not sure if this place has a new ownership in the last few years but the Fish & chips with mild curry sauce was 10/10. Very impressed, give it a go!

Decided to try this place out as we were craving fish and chips for lunch just before they shut for lunch. First of all they are the friendliest most lovely people and the fish and chips were sooo good and fresh. Definitely visit!

Another lovely meal from here, always impressed! Me and my family won't go anywhere else for a chippy, been going here for couple years now and never any issue!

Whats happened here? normally great but tonight sub standard!! fish batter soggy pudding cold and not hollands no flavour peas well just looked luminous not mushy at all really disappointed ☹

We’ve been travelling from Sale to the Timperley Fish Bar since lockdown and it is consistently excellent. Good fish, crispy chips etc. it’s a 10 from me!

Had some amazing fish, chips and peas today for 2. Big flakey white fish with crispy batter, dry crispy chips and perfect mushies. I will be going back, all for less than £13 great value and quality. No ridiculous queues down the pavement, meagre portions and average food for London prices this one, thinking of a certain place near Alty Football ground. Break the habit and try it, no chance of disappointment. Keep up the good work Timperley Fish Bar.

Went here last night had fish regular chips and peas. The chips were like double cooked triple cooked or whatever you call it , fish melt in your mouth with lovely soft light batter but with a crunch, peas lovely. Who needs the seaside that's all I'm saying you would of thought it was coastal seaside it was that good and the staff were all friendly hats off to this place will definitely be back and just 2 miles away me.

Been a few times. Consistently great. Fish freshly cooked. Chips are lovely. Staff are pleasant and the lady is very polite.

Without doubt this is the best place to go in the surrounding area. The fish is always fresh and deliciously cooked in batter that is always crispy. The chips are double cooked for that crisp outer shell and delicious fluffy potato inside. All the gravy, curry and peas are also top notch and the pies are fresh too. I can't recommend this place enough.

Ordered 25 portions of fish & chips for jubilee party on Friday, they looked after us even though it was required for 6.30 pm that being their busiest night & time . There wasn’t 1 unhappy party goer everyone said best they’d had . Thank you so much for quality & service .

I didn't have any cash and none of the cash machines worked for me and they were kind enough and trusting enough to allow me to take the food home so we could enjoy it for my mum's birthday, then come back and pay after. So happy to have found this place; twice I’ve had fish & chips from there now and it is the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Usually when ordering fish & chips from places, I will eat the fish and a few of the chips and bin the rest. On both occasions, I have actually enjoyed eating the chips as well as the fish, as the chips in this place are perfection itself! The fish is freshly cooked to order and they don’t hang around, they’re ‘on it’ as soon as you’ve placed your order. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Altho under new management, it still sells delicious fresh fish,cooked to order,and very nice, well sized chips too. Friendly service. Large portions. Still the best chippy in the area !

Portion size was good but the Chips were overcooked and could taste the burnt oil.

Timperley fish bar appears to be under new management with new staff. I’ve been coming here once or twice a month for the past couple of years and have always been very satisfied with the standard of fish and chips. I went there this evening and was quite disappointed by both the portion size of chips and the size of the fish. The batter was also not as tasty and neither was the sweet curry sauce. The mushy peas were also very runny. I hope it’s back up to its usual standard next time.

Ordered chicken pie n chips from here as part of a family tea. Pie looked like it was left over from lunch, hardly any filling and flat, chips looked old and dry. Good job the peas and gravy were ok. Won't be going there again.

The Fish and Chips from this Chippy are the best I have had for many years, the fish are white and chunky cooked in a lovely crispy batter ( I ADD AN EXTRA MINUTE ) To the frying, they are a friendly set of staff and the standard of hygiene is very very high well worth a visit for your Friday Chippy Tea...

Went to the Timperley Fish Bar last night for the first time and it definitely won't be the last!! We've lived in Manchester over 20 years and this was BY FAR the best fish and chips we've had in the area. It was absolutely beautiful, so delicious. The fish melts in your mouth and the batter is perfect! Well done!

Just recently started to use this chip shop As my usual local chippy standards had dropped. So sorry I had not tried it before. Went in again last night, the fish are cooked to order the chips are are 90 Per cent cooked and as fish finishes cooking the chips are given a final few minutes on a high heat. The food is fresh and crispy. The size of the fish was very big. I m in my late sixties but have a healthy appetite but believe me it would easily satisfied 2 people, I couldn t finish the fish or the chips.

Unfortunately not great. I'd heard it was pretty good but the fish was mostly batter and not fish, chicken nuggets came straight out of a frozen bag instead of being freshly made like most of the fish and chip shops in the area. The spicy curry is the most mild thing I've ever tasted but the chips were alright. Disappointed. I'd suggest Theo's for the fish.
