The best restaurants serving Seafood food in East of England

This is a regular destination for us. Once a month we collect about 15 meals for the workforce. The fish is good quality, the chips are a good potato variety and all cooked to perfection. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Excellent! Portions were immense and the fish quality was great. Highly recommend. Was there when busier and everything was fresh.

Best fish & chips you can get, super white Non greasy fish & chips, crisp dry batter very fresh . Polite staff . Would definitely travel to Loddon to purchase these.

Do not order! We ordered and PAID online and when we went to collect they were closed. We have contacted them numerous times via email and phone but nobody has got back to us. Shouldn’t be accepting payment if they’re not open.

It’s hard to see why any legitimate shop would be cash only these days. I expect it puts off a few customers like it put me off.

After trying nearly all the doner kebab spots in Hemel, I can confidently say this shop serves the best chicken doner in town! The kebab was incredibly fresh, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and they even threw in two free dips of sauce— such a nice touch!

Sadly we were disappointed with our food - the Cod was over cooked and dry whilst the Haddock was coated in raw batter. This chip shop used to be so good but seems to have gone downhill in recent months.

Superb cod and chips. Very large portion for a medium. The batter on the fish was crispy and tasty. Well wrapped and piping hot. Great service. Thank you.

Saturday night take away this week was chips from Munch King to accompany the kebab from next door. Staff are always friendly and chips were freshly cooked. Even with recent price rise still decent value. Recommended.

The worse fish and chips I’ve ever had the fish was so over cooked. It was dry and awful. Will definitely not be returning. £25 was not cheap for something that was so inedible.

I am a regular customer at fish n chicken, and I rate them 1st class very tasty food. But I do think the cardboard boxes they use are a complete waste of money and such a waste in general..the food is literally in the boxes for minutes then thrown away...in todays climate I think they should try going back to the old fashioned way of wrapping fish n chips in paper...fish n chips is so expensive nowadays it may help out a bit with their prices. I bought nuggets tonight and was told instead of 10 they have cut it to 9....cut out the extravagant boxes that would save them reducing the amount? Just a thought

J’ai passé un super séjour à Barcelone à l’hostel Blackswan. L’auberge est très bien située dans la ville proche de toutes commodités. Le personnel est vraiment parfait mention spécial à Loïc le québécois et Ismaël pour les soirées organisées dans les clubs ! Je n’oublierai jamais mon séjour merci à tous !

Good traditional chippy with very large portions Did not do Rock Eel for the full marks from me but menu was pretty good and varied.
