The best restaurants serving Seafood food in East of England

Absolutely disgusting the gravy came as water, no taste to it! The wrapper was melted into my cheese. Had to pick the wrapper from my cheese. Curry sauce was cold very disappointing

Have used. this chippie for years. I usually have fish n chips .. but sometimes a kebab....which my son always has ....no trimmings just meat .... Never disappointed. Great service brilliant food..... Would certainly recommend..

Kids meal used to contain at least four cod bites, now all of a sudden its 2 cod bites but the price is the same! I visit every week to get my kids dinner after coming back from clubs, unfortunately due to the portion size being half of what it used to be but the price remaining the same I will not be coming again.

Came for a lunch for my partner’s birthday. We had the set lunch menu, as I had been the week previously for my mum’s birthday & the food & service were both great. However today the food was really disappointing. The tempura prawns were greasy, the steak medallions were over cooked and the French fries were undercooked. We didn’t say anything at the time as it was was busy, and we didn’t want to make a fuss. Definitely not as good an experience as when I’ve been previously.

The chips were limp and soggy, the sausage tasted stale and unpleasant, and the fish was overly greasy. Honestly, it felt like a complete waste of money. Having tried fish and chips from various places across the country, I can confidently say this was the worst I’ve ever had. Absolutely disappointing.

I can't go too long between visits, because the chips are so awesome. I drove 10 miles to get there, and there's quite simply nowhere else that takes so much care to deliver such great quality food. Every order is cooked especially, so you will wait a few minutes, but you can guarantee that it is piping hot and top quality. I've had the ribs and they are amazing - the Jack Daniels sauce is top notch, and £11 is an absolute bargain. The cod and plaice was lovely, and even the sausages in batter are tasty. I don't bother going anywhere else for chips - this is THE place (or should that be plaice :))

Spectacular fish dishes, prawn toast that will blow your mind, crab crumpets are incredible and the staff all knowledgeable and lovely.

Placed large order for delivery Christmas Eve, food was on time but the large cod was more than disappointing. It was the tail end, thin with very little fish, just a mouthful of crisp batter and skin. Chips were not that great either. Overall very disappointing.
