Just lovely food every time we vist, Friday me and my sister both had chicken & chips and I had a pickeled egg, it was all lovely, the best chip shop for miles.

Food is soggy and cold, delivery driver went to a different stop FURTHER away from my house and stayed there for 10 minutes. I have screenshot proof of this.

Finally, a chipshop that does proper chips. No floppy oven chips or fries, served in a box or plastic container. This is how they should be cut, cooked, and served. This was my first order from here, but impressed me enough that it won't be the last.

Mcdonald's was my kids favourite burger shop until we found this place. No queues, clean, good food and nice prices. We've had their fried chicken, chips, fish, 1/4 and 1/2 pound beef burgers, chicken burger, fish burger, and Texan burger (see photo).

Of poor standard to normal, chips reheated and fish not freshly cooked..

Ordered scampi and chips earlier in the week was nice. Ordered again but this time ordered the lamb souvlaki and chips twice came to £35 Lamb was four cubes and tough as a pair of old boots chips were a bag of mostly bits!! Not value for money don’t think I’d bother again. Big shame because the menu is good with a lot of choice but badly let down by the quality of the food.

The gentleman who delivered our food was extremely lovely ! Definitely one of the best just eat delivery guys ever !

Don’t order the lamb. V poor quality. 😔 too chewy. Full of gristle. Not what I’d call traditional Greek Cypriot souvlakia.

Placed order and was late so rang up only to be told it’s on its way it’s not here plus owner shouting the lady on the phone to just hang up on me , found this extremely rude to speak to customers like that will not be ordering from here again

Food is excellent. Ribs are second to none. Only issue is the online payment system hasn't worked for months. You go through the process then have to ring to order and pay by card. Why not sort it out or put a note on the website saying that card payments are by phone only

Went in the shop this evening or order fish and chips and was totally shocked and appalled to hear how the manager/owner was shouting and talking to his staff. Humiliating them in front of customers. It was disgusting. It has certainly put me off of going in there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. No one should be spoken to like that and customers shouldn’t have to listen to it either !!!

I’m ordered many times from star fish but last 2 times disappointed of quality.This time ordered chicken and chips.chicken was alright but chips again was very greasy,over fried ,completely burn

The notes don't seem to get read. I had no salt and vinegar again when I asked for it. And I paid £7.30 for a 1/2 burger and got 1 patty and the exact same patty that's in the 1/4 burger

Apparently the driver was late to pick up the order. Fish batter was soggy the chips were hard because it had all been reheated.

What a great restaurant. Best chips I’ve had in ages. Crisp and golden brown chips that melt on your mouth. Excellent customer service, exceptionally clean, welcoming atmosphere and very reasonably priced. I’d go to Waltham abbey again just to visit this restaurant.

I already knew that the chips are superb but never tried the Cypriot meats, until today. I can highly recommend the chicken thighs, very nice indeed. Pita bread was so much nicer than your ordinary kebab shop pita. I wish it was served with a small pot of sauce but hey, can't have everything. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

we eat here on a regular basis but went today with friends that were visiting ,,,,they were very impressed with the meal....and hopefully they will come with us again....

Visiting Waltham Abbey on the way back to London after dropping my dog off at kennels nearby Fancied some chips I struck lucky popping into this place; something about it told me that it was going to be good; maybe that it was clearly Cypriot owned and run; all the best fish and chip places near me North West London are Cypriot I wasn't wrong. Quite possibly the most delicious chips I've ever had...and at 61 I've had a lot Chips are important I think when I pick the dog up I must bring my wife and we can try the fish or even souvlaki. I'm sure it will all be fabulous And the price? Definitely nowhere near London mad prices for fish and chips. What can be nicer than eating lovely chips in the beautiful Waltham Abbey gardens in the sunshine? Nothing!

Food was good however I ordered and paid for haddock but received cod. Don't like cod so a lot of money for a portion of chips.
