Nearly 18 quid for 10 pieces of proper rubbery squid a small hand full of chips and 2 rock hard saveloy not good at all

Courier was lovely and efficient. Figo’s are not winning my approval. Chicken and Chips had a strange and quite impaired flavour, I drenched the food in my own salt, sauce and vinegar to make it edible, I hope my stomach will be okay. What’s frustrating is Figo sell good fresh food at their restaurant but the takeaways don’t cut the mustard and that’s 3 chances now. Starfish for me next time

Order arrived with cold drinks in the same bag as hot food. The food needed some microwave action. The curry sauce was more the texture of lard than sauce, the chips tasted quite distinctly of fried fish even though I ordered chicken and chips otherwise just about edible but a little dissatisfied

The piece of cod was cooked fresh.A nice crispy batter and was value for money. Very tasty. I just would have liked the chips to have been a little crisper , they looked very pale but did taste good.

pie's were cold , chips were black because they were made from bruised potatoes,and I spent over £30 and never got my free drink.

Chips were so hard I used them to prop my door open , small portions and chicken tasted like a stu not a kebab with chilly sauce.

Disgusting very disappointed with quality of food not even edible... Chips were hard and crunchy tasted like they were two days old... The chicken was dry flavourless and again tasted stale waste of £16 will not be ordering from them again!! Not good that the charge people so much money poor quality tasing food

The fish is great, but the chips are terrible, just a nasty taste and usually a bit underdone. Tried it twice, but never again.

Ask for some ketchup and only squeezed tiny bit and very rude , it’s already £2.40 for a small chips , definitely won’t recommend

The worst fish and chips I’ve had for a long time . Chips had black ends and half cooked. Fish tasted strange like it’s been fried in old oil. Gherkins old and soft . Never Again !!

Whats happened... sat around the table spitting out our food. chips were dried, tough and pale. So bad I had to take them back to the shop. replacements went in the bin too. 2 stars because they were replaced no questions asked.

Made an order earlier and it was OK except from the fact there was a stone INSIDE my chips and I nearly busted a tooth eating it and now actually have pain in my tooth ... how the f would a stone end up from outside a food place into the kitchen then into the food ?? What els is in the food that isn't meant to be in there

I ordered chicken burger, which the restaurant said it was filet not steak (turns out to be steak) piece of chicken was horrible and not eatable had to chuck away. Waste of food! Will not order again waste of money and effort!

Their customer service to the quality of the food is the best ever! Their chicken wings sooooo much better than KFC! Highly recommend anything on the menu, you will be surprised with the quality and flavouring! Keep up with the amazing food Figo!

My parents are absolutely loving the side roast potatoes option! Both have been raving about them to pals too, they love the herbs/spices you are using 💕 Personally I was made up to find another Abbey chippy offering my favourite Halomi☺🧀

Lovely chips best I'd had in ages.

Never a bad meal. Everything freshly cooked and on time. Ordering online is a breeze and saves the hassle of ordering a kebab and waiting for it to be grilled. Potato wedges are a winner for me but you'll either love em or like em

Fish and chips were ok, however they only make the fish to order, I had to wait 30 minutes for my order. Clearly its a market of convenience not inconvenience. Won't use them again.

Exceptionally perfect and fresh Fish & Chips, very clean and friendly, the cod was very crispy, nothing at all greasy, all piping hot. I ordered on the website and collected, very easy - I will definitely be back again! AAAAA++++++

My family and I have used Figo's a few times; we've always had a great meal from there! The shop front is always clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and approachable. The portion sizes are always generous and tasty. Their prices are always fair too.

Our local chippy, it's recently been refurbed and changed hands I think. The outside can be frequented by the estates young oiks giving it their best roadman impersonations but fear not, this is the Abbey not Edmonton (AKA Shanktown.) and they're really not as intimidating as they'd like to imagine, more crapstar than trapstar with their hands constantly down the front of their Umbro trackie bottoms pretending only to themselves they have anything more than a 10 bag and a few straggly pubes down there. The standard of chips seems to have gone up with the change but I still prefer Peggetys in Epping as they could sometimes be a bit crispier. Chicken wings are also pretty good now and it has become a convenient go to for potatoe based dinner accompaniments.

Just visited the roundhills Fish Bar tonight it's under new management and by God it is amazing without doubt the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. If it's fish and chips you want please give it a try it's amazing!

New owners, new refurbish, and a new experience. the old roundhills fish bar was getting dire, and I stared using another place further away (I live very nearby) But... What a difference, everything is now fresh and tasty, staff, are friendly, love it now. If you want a treat visit them it won't be disappointing, even the prices.

Definitely the best fish and chip shop we have ever been to. Staff always lovely as well.

Had the fried chicken from here it was amazing nice and moist and full of flavour the fish is alway tasty and the do a great variety of different foods all in all a great takeaway one negative is it’s pointless pre ordering over the phone because they wait for you to turn up to get it ready

This place gladly take your food orders over the phone, ready for your collection usually within 20 mins. We ordered our cod and chips which are cooked to order which means that they are always piping hot. The food is always top class and makes a healthy alternative to indian and chinese food.

Chips were poor and not well cooked. Chicken nuggets were OK. over all not worth 4.80.

The weather forcast was terrible and decided to eat at home rather than going out. We ordered our cod and chips over the phone and collected our meal 15 mins later. As usual, the meal was perfect and tasted wonderful. You will not find a better chippie anywhere beeter than this place

Gorgeous fish n chips. The cod is very white and fresh and a perfect texture covered in a light crispy batter. Chips were creamy and a huge portion. Perfect curry sauce and mushy peas. Staff very friendly. Will definitely visit again when down from North Yorkshire!!

Best fish and chips place ever. The cook the most beautiful fishes I've ever tasted and they even do other things like saveloys and sausage in batter. But that's only just a scratch of the surface. I would definitely recommend 11/10 (over the scales)

Brilliant food friendly and quick service

We decided to have a fish supper instead of the usual Indian/chinese takeaway and phoned the fish shop and ordered one large and one medium cod and that we would collect our order when ready. We were advised that it would be ready in 15 mins.We collected our order which was ready as promised and returned home to eat it there,watching the TV. Both portions looked lovely with golden thin batter and my large cod was huge. The meal was delicous and very filling and was glad that we did not order any chips as they would have been wasted. The meal was a great alternative and also very healthy and we shall certainly return there again in the near future
